About: Growing up I always had a dog and cats. They bring so much joy into my life. I am currently taking time off from nursing as we had our first son in August. So I am a stay at home mom. My husband and I have an English Cream Golden Retriever who is now 5 years old! I have experience training puppies, giving medications, walking dogs. Very flexible. Occasionally might have to have my 10 month old son with me for drop ins or walks. Would want to make sure cats/dogs are comfortable around kids. Thanks! They would get a lot of outside time! Large yard in the woods. Can keep them on a leash if needed as it is not fenced in.

My beloved Boston Terrier, Dorothy, was with me from puppyhood until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 16 in 2025. On the day they showed a bit early, made sure everything was clear, and went over permissions, feeding schedules, vet info and the like. About: My first time dog sitting, I watched 2 Great Danes for a week while their family was away. I left this experience telling everyone I wanted to own a Great Dane when I got older. I have a tremendous love for pets and love to work with the family to keep them happy and routine oriented. I also adore my family dog, Sam. I currently work full time Monday-Friday, so being a dog walker would fit into my schedule week nights after 5pm, and weekends. I am open to dog sit on the weekends. I also grew up having family dogs and cats. I even helped take care of brother’s bearded dragon when he was in college. I am also in a master’s program to get my teaching degree in teaching high school English. I am currently a daycare teacher working most days. Sometimes I start at 6:30am, sometimes at 8am, and other times at noon. I usually work till 6:15pm, but sometimes I get scheduled to be off early. It varies every week, but I can put in requests ahead of time to start or end at a certain time if need be. I have a 4 year old purebred Siberian husky named Maverick. He loves everyone and all animals. He was raised around other dogs, cats, and a bearded dragon since I brought him home at 3 months old. I have worked alongside 2 certified professional trainers to help train Maverick to be the best behaved dog. I have trained Maverick to the point that he has several awards and certifications in obedience, rally, and scent work. I currently live with my sister’s two dogs and brother’s cat. I cannot pet sit at my house currently due to having other dogs and cats in my home, but I am more than happy to go to a client’s home, and pet sit, walk, let animals outside, etc.

Esmirna is kind, gentle and calming. She helped me feel reassured and secure that my three pets (2 dogs and a cat) would be well cared for and they were. We came home to three very relaxed pets and a home in perfect condition. She sent a daily update w photos and followed a not so easy routine that included multiple pet meds. She was attentive to every detail and very thorough as well as professional. We greatly appreciate her effort, care and consideration. She made things easy and void of any complications!
Jacen took care of my two Pomeranians, Meeko and Koda, while I was away in Puerto Rico, and I truly appreciated the peace of mind he provided. He was reliable and made sure their basic needs were met, which is always my top priority when I’m away from them. Meeko can be a bit protective and vocal, and Koda is more laid back and affectionate, so they each have very different personalities. Jacen handled their differences well and ensured they were cared for during my absence. Communication was excellent with regular updates and photos, which allowed me to feel more connected and reassured while away. Overall, I’m grateful for his help and for making it possible for me to take my trip knowing my dogs were being taken care of.
