About: Hello! My name is Izzy, I’m 21 years old, and I’m going into my senior year at Penn State while working at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp. I’m so excited to start my Rover journey! I’ve grown up with having dogs in my household all my life, from a 4 1/2 lb. Chihuahua to a chunky Toy Fox Terrier to a mighty but loving Rottweiler-Black Lab mix. I’ve also been tasked with taking care of my neighbor’s and friend’s dogs over the years, whether that be stopping over to give them food, bathroom breaks, and cuddles, or even staying overnight over the span of a week so the dog(s) don’t feel alone. Therefore, I’m hoping to be the best fit for you, too! Outside of dogs, I love to be in our pool when the weather is warm and being able to do so with my family, pick up new crafting hobbies like scrapbooking or embroidery, and go to concerts of a variety of artists (43 concerts and counting!), most recently being 5 Seconds of Summer. I can’t wait to start this opportunity and hopefully bring some relief to someone in need of dog-helping needs! I’m currently working part-time at Rita’s Italian Ice in Cranberry Twp., and the schedule always fluctuates between 4-6 hour shifts. I don’t have set days, but I’m typically scheduled one weekday and the Friday-Sundays, However, I have plenty of time outside of those shifts and always accommodate around them to ensure that all the dog’s needs are met. At home, I assist in letting our dogs play in our fenced-in backyard, giving them treats when they’ve behaved or done a trick we’ve taught them (sit and “paw”), taking them on neighborhood walks when it’s nice outside, assuring that their food and water are filled, and playing with them to get their zoomies out before everyone starts winding down for the night. Outside of my home, if there is not a fenced-in backyard, I’ve taken the dog(s) outside on leashes for bathroom purposes, as well as do all actions mentioned above from what I do at home. Some houses have also had puppy pads when necessary, and I always take appropriate measures to clean up any messes and re-lay down a fresh puppy pad.

“An excellent experience. They showed up well prior to the actual pet/house sit to get familiar with our house and our four pets. On the day they showed a bit early, made sure everything was clear, and went over permissions, feeding schedules, vet info and the like. They were with our pets Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and here to help us deal with the inevitable excitement from the pets when we got home. All in all, a great experience. Will use again.”

About: My first time dog sitting, I watched 2 Great Danes for a week while their family was away. I left this experience telling everyone I wanted to own a Great Dane when I got older. I have a tremendous love for pets and love to work with the family to keep them happy and routine oriented. I also adore my family dog, Sam. I currently work full time Monday-Friday, so being a dog walker would fit into my schedule week nights after 5pm, and weekends. I am open to dog sit on the weekends. I care for pets in my clients home by making sure I follow in-depth instructions about their pets routine while also making sure their house is kept tidy during my stay.

She was even willing to stay at our house so our dogs could be comfortable in their own space. Kaitlyn sent lots of photos and updates, and it was so easy to communicate with her before, during, and after her stay. About: Growing up I always had a dog and cats. They bring so much joy into my life. I am currently taking time off from nursing as we had our first son in August. So I am a stay at home mom. My husband and I have an English Cream Golden Retriever who is now 5 years old! I have experience training puppies, giving medications, walking dogs. Very flexible. Occasionally might have to have my 10 month old son with me for drop ins or walks. Would want to make sure cats/dogs are comfortable around kids. Thanks! They would get a lot of outside time! Large yard in the woods. Can keep them on a leash if needed as it is not fenced in.

“If you need a house/dog sitter, look no further! Lauren was absolutely awesome. We have a 100lb Doberman who is very sweet but he is high energy and can be a lot to handle for people not used to large high energy dogs. Lauren took care of him with no issues at all while staying at our house for 5 nights. She gave him regular walks and spent a ton of time with him. She also was great at sending pictures and updates. Finally, she took great care of our house and respected our rules. She was great all around!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with Rottweilers and currently have two of my own, Gino & Haus, they're my whole world! I also have a handful of kitties🥰 My passion for animal care goes back as far as I can remember. From baby videos of me crawling on my dog and giving him a big hug & kiss, to completing a veterinary training class in 10th grade, where I learned the basics of animal health and handling! I now have about 3.5 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including two years at doggy daycares, where I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I treat every pet like they're my own and I always try my best to give them a safe, loving, reliable person they can trust just as much as they trust you, no matter how long it takes them to warm up to me. Working with animals is more than just a job to me—it's what I love, and I plan to make it my lifelong career. I work at a doggy daycare with a flexible schedule, so my availability varies from week to week. I am almost always able to stay overnight for house sitting, and depending on my work schedule, I can spend all day, all morning, or all afternoon and evening with your pet. I always try to spend as much time as I can with your baby. (leaving work is as hard as you can imagine) My most common shift is 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, though I can also work morning, afternoon, and split shifts, though the weekday morning shifts are extremely rare. My weekday shifts are never longer than 6.5 hours, and the only time I may be away for up to 10 hours is on the occasional Saturday when I'm scheduled for a longer shift. On Sundays, I usually work split shifts, which means I'm able to come home and spend about 2½ hours with your pet between work periods. If it's a good fit for your pet and you're comfortable with it, I'd also be happy to talk about bringing them with me to my work so they can enjoy extra socialization, enrichment, and attention, while never leaving my side! I'm committed to keeping your babies routine as normal as possible and will always communicate my schedule ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect!! Your babies safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. I love to take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and other special needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, as if you haven’t even left! I am experienced in administering medications, following food schedules, and providing extremely gentle and personal care. Walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll always make sure your baby gets plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and affection (and making sure they know it!!) while I keep their routine as normal and consistent as I possibly can! I treat every pet as if they were my own, and pay close attention to their behavior so I can quickly notice and respond accordingly with any changes or concerns. You will also always get regular updates and photos about how they were and their day!
