About: I have grown up with cats and dogs, two dogs and 4 cats over my lifetime. Both outdoor indoor pets and I am very active with them. Pets need love and support from us as much as we need it from them. I spent three years volunteering at the Oregon zoo working with animals. I am flexible and creative, easily adapting to pet's needs. I am also patient and calm with them. I have loved animals since I was a kid. I refused to hit a piñata at a party because it was animal shaped. I will love your pets as if they are my own. I am always happiest when I am around pets. I work from home on a salaried basis, so my schedule is flexible. Especially from early morning until 3pm. I can do quick drop ins and/or long stays if they need a little interaction. I pay attention to location of plants, making sure they are out of reach and not a hazard to pets. I make sure all toys left out are safe, not too small to chock on. Making sure toys don't have anything to tangle up with. I'll watch to make sure pets don't eat too fast and get sick.

“Matthew was great! The wrong address was on file and he still came and walked Kimchi for the full hour. She was nice and tired after and I would definitely recommend!”

About: I've had dogs of my own for my whole life so they have always been a big part of who I am. I currently have two dogs of my own, but have plenty of love left to share with your dogs. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve spent two years and over 150 hours volunteering at a dog and cat rescue. I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments by walking, feeding, bathing, training, and administering medications. In addition to dogs, I’ve previously been a pet parent to horses, cats, and bunnies. I currently volunteer at an equine rescue. I used rover as a sitter very briefly in 2017 when I lived in Florida, so I have some old reviews from my previous time on Rover. I am re-establishing my profile and am excited to get to know some wonderful pups and pup parents in Portland. As a pet parent, I know how stressful it is to leave your treasured family member in someone else’s care. That’s why I make sure to text my Rover families plenty of pictures and updates. I want you to feel confident that your pet is safe and happy so you can enjoy your time away with less stress. I’m also happy to support any training goals you are currently working on. I work a full time job in healthcare quality assurance, but have flexible work hours and a hybrid schedule. I’ll be able to accommodate recurring weekly walks or drop-ins as well as one-time bookings. I’m excited to offer dog walking and drop-in visits. During walks I will ensure your dog remains leashed with the collar and leash set up of your choice. If you’re working on loose leash walking, I can support that training on my walks with your pups. I’ll ensure your pet has food, water, medication (as needed), and will let you know immediately if I see any health or safety concerns.

Whether it’s daily dog walks, attentive pet sitting, or special care for senior pets, I treat every animal like my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and truly passionate about animals, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and cared for in your absence. I work Independently from my computer and can take scheduled breaks willingly at my leisure! This is an amazing fit for me, and gives me the freedom to care for animals, which I love, and get some fresh air and exercise! With my background in Hospitality as well as caring for a wide variety of animal species I am well rounded and versed in not only caring for your animal and their specific needs, but your home as well while you're away! Keeping a safe environment for your animal is just as important as caring for your animal! Feel free to leave your Furbo camera on, or state specific and detailed instructions for your animals care! Your desires and your pets needs are my top priority! I understand trust is earned through honest and respectful action! I do everything in my power to make your pet feel comfortable and cared for as per all instructions left by you! If a sit feels too stressful or out of reach for my abilities I will be very transparent and honest about what I can take on! I would never jeopardize your animals safety and care.

I’ve taken care of my family and I, dogs and cats since I was 9 years old. When my family would go on vacation and out of town, I would be there house sitting, take the dogs out every 2 hours or so to go potty, play with them, feed them fresh food and water twice per day, go on nice walks with them, provide daily check ins of how there pets are doing. Any requests that they have, it would be fulfilled, with love and excellent care. I’m available on Weekends, All Major Holidays during mornings, days, and nights. I treat the same love and respect to clients’ dogs and cats, with the same of how I treat my dog and cat. I’m always a person to keep pets in home, and regularly walk them on a leash. Down the street from my home is a public fence in dog park. If the client would like me to take there dog to the fenced in dog park, I always can. I’ll make sure they are well fed, plenty of water, and only provide food to them that the client has to offer, each day. And most important, keep them happy, healthy, and always safe. I'm available most weekends, and holiday breaks. I say most and not all, because booking can be challenging during the busy seasons, although I try my best to make it work for all clients. I prefer to go by a list my client makes to insure I am doing I can to provide the best services. The safety, trust and keeping clean environment of your home and pets are definitely a must.

“Kori is absolutely wonderful with animals! She’s taken care of my Frenchie, Bodhi, several times and he adores her. I even call her his girlfriend because he’s all over her when he sees her. Kori is loving, responsible, and totally on top of her game when it comes to pet care. She’s also my neighbor, and when Bodhi suddenly developed IVDD and was going through a tough time, she would regularly check in on him. When I needed help holding him for bathroom breaks while he was temporarily paralyzed, she stepped in without hesitation offering her support with such warmth, kindness, and compassion. Kori is not only amazing with pets but also incredibly respectful and caring when it comes to your home. I trust her completely and feel so lucky to have her nearby. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, dependable, and truly all around amazing human!”

“Athena’s watched my pets a few times—my cat Mouse and my dog Reese’s—and I really can’t say enough good things. Mouse is super skittish and usually hides from everyone, but with Athena, it was different. She didn’t push it, just kinda let Mouse do her thing, and somehow they bonded. I remember coming home and seeing Mouse asleep on her lap, which honestly never happens with anyone else. Reese’s is a handful, total goofball energy all the time, and she handled him like a pro. Long walks, playtime, keeping him on his feeding schedule—she did it all without me having to ask twice. She even cleaned up a little around his crate, which she didn’t have to do. That kind of care goes a long way. You can just tell animals like her, and she really cares back. It’s not just a job to her. If you’re thinking about hiring someone to look after your pets, I’d honestly recommend her in a heartbeat. She’s one of the only people I actually feel okay leaving them with.”

Naomi S.
“Naomi is amazing with animals! She’s patient, caring, and truly understands each pet’s unique needs. I always feel at ease knowing my dog is in her care. -Michael J.”
