“Alexis was amazing & I will absolutely be using again! She did 1 hour drop-in visits for my 2 kitties for 8 days & went above & beyond my expectations. This was the first time I’ve ever had to leave them for an extended period of time, so it was also the first time I’ve had to hire someone to help take care of them, so I was pretty nervous. She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with them & myself, stayed in constant communication while I was gone, sent me lots of pictures & updates, & most impressive- got one of my babies to be snuggly & loving with her which is incredible considering their normal disposition around new people (hiding be pretty hissy/unfriendly). That alone let me know just how amazing she is with animals! When I came home their litter boxes were clean, their food & water were full, & they were both perfect condition. I’m so grateful for Alexis & how well she took care of my kitties while I was gone. I knew they were safe & well cared for which made being away from them 1,000 times easier! She will be my number 1 go-to anytime I need someone to take care of my cats in the future!”

“Hire Edmy!!!!! She’s fantastic!!!!! We will definitely hire her again!!!!! She is very kind and sweet to us, but especially with our cat, Sheldon, who is picky about letting people pet him. She gave him lots of pets, but also brushed him and played Cat TV for him. She gave his meds on time. She cleaned his litter box each visit. Sheldon is fed on a schedule for medical reasons. She always came on time. If you hire Edmy, your pets are in good hands.”

“Charity took great care of everyone so we could get out of town a few days. Everyone looks cared for, they all got some extra love while we had fun!”

“Very communicative and helpful”

“Bree went above and beyond when we had an emergency on our vacation far from home. Recommend her heartily (make sure to leave a nice tip if she has to climb through your window).”

“I am so grateful for Brandi & Luis! I got updates about my cat while I was away. They went above and beyond with him. My cat doesn’t usually come out for guest, but he loved them!”

“Hannah is the absolute best! She communicates well and goes above and beyond to take great care of my dog every time. I can tell she truly loves Bella! We are always so grateful to have Hannah watch her!”

About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. Three of my previous dog clients have shown interest in having me come back to stay with their dogs when they’re out of town for more than a couple days. Pet sitting and dog walking are my primary responsibilities along with taking care of my two cats. I have a very flexible and available schedule. I take pride and making sure that the client’s home is as good if not better when I entered. I will walk the dog, feed or treat, make sure the water bowl is full and also if appropriate snuggles.

“Jess is amazing with our dogs - she is a lifesaver for us!”

About: We are new to Rover, and ready to meet your furry family member! I’ve spent my life around dogs and had the privilege of raising my own from puppyhood to his senior years — 14 amazing years together. While I’m not looking to bring a new dog into my home full-time right now, I still genuinely enjoy being around them. I tailor care to each dog’s needs and personality. Whether your pup is full of energy or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to match their rhythm — from active walks to quiet downtime. My husband and I work full-time, and we work together to care for your dog during early afternoons through the evenings on weekdays, as well as full days on weekends. We team up to provide consistent, loving attention for your dog. Safety and trust mean a lot to us. Our girls have grown up around dogs and always show so much love and care — they’ll stop every dog we see just to say hi, give hugs, and plenty of belly rubs. We have a fenced yard where dogs can safely play, and no other dogs in our home, so your pup will have plenty of space and attention. We always follow the owner’s instructions to keep up with their usual routine — activity, meals, naps, and all — to make sure your dog feels comfortable and at home. We know dogs need both chill time and playtime, so we make sure there’s plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable, plus lots of chances to get active and use their energy. As a family, we work together to give your dog the best care possible, treating them like one of our own.

About: A home away from home for your pet children. Think of it as "GrandMa & Paws Paws" Bed & Breakfast. I've been blessed to retire early after an extensive career in different areas, one being prior work experience in the pet industry. I had plenty of experience with veterinarian offices throughout NE Indiana. But, the favorite titles I wear proudly are mom and dog mom and wife to my husband. Throughout the years I've had my heart full of animals -dogs being my speciality and of all sizes, breeds and characteristics. I am dependable, reliable and honest. And I’m easy to communicate with. I have been blessed to retire early after an extensive career in different areas, one being prior work in the pet care industry with plenty of trainings with several veterinarian clinics throughout NE Indiana. Your pet kid will be monitored 24/7 inside my home and outside of my home. As I do this with my own pet children. Throughout the years I've had my heart full of animals - dogs being my speciality of all sizes and breeds. While, also having some of the best cats in the mix of my dogs I care for them with all my background knowledge I've learned over the years of caring for and loving my dog babies. My home is always nice and tidy and so is my backyard. I keep their environment very tidy. I have a fenced in yard. My two dogs are never unsupervised during rain, snow or heat. I guess you would call me a helicopter pet parent. I do have nice kennels with bedding.

About: I am currently a veterinary technician student with a love for all animals! I have helped care for my friends’ and my families’ animals since I was 10, and have been around animals my whole life. I have classes for about 4-5 hours a day, with breaks in between. I also have time before and after school each day and free most of the weekends. I am able to feed, walk, medicate, and clean out litter boxes. I will also play and entertain them whenever they are up for it and will take all the cuddles they offer.

About: I have always said I love animals more than most people, I have never met an animal that didnt like me and vice versa. I used to have a small animal rescue in my dad's barn until he sold it so I found them all homes and had to stop unfortunately. I have had animals all my life, I have also picked up a lot of strays and brought them inside. I have trained them, we go on walks every day we possibly can. My kids love animals just as much as I do too. My oldest is always telling me to stop and pick up that squirrel or cat, etc. My kids make me pick up every acorn we find and save it for our squirrel friends in our tree lol animals our are safe haven, our happy place. I am currently working many different side jobs that fit my kids schedule so I am pretty flexible and available. My older kids are st school all day and my youngest & I love to be outside so that leaves plenty of time for us to do as many walks/drop ins as possible. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly pups plus 3 kiddos to keep your animal entertained and cared for! I also have a couple crates of different sizes to keep them in if that is what you desire.

About: Hi, I’m Kendra. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, but it’s become even more meaningful after losing my own dog and my parents’ dog. That kind of loss changed me—it deepened my empathy and strengthened the way I connect with animals and their people. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, fish, turtles, rats, and hamsters. I’ve also worked on a farm with horses, goats, and chickens, which taught me the value of patience, boundaries, and respect for each animal’s space and personality. My partner and I adopted a 7-year-old Border Collie who had been through abuse and was slow to trust. Helping her learn to feel safe again reminded me that love, time, and consistency really matter—and I bring that same calm, steady energy to every pet I care for. I’m comfortable with medication routines, special diets, and unique behavioral needs. I take time to read body language, listen, and make sure each pet feels safe and understood. If you’re looking for someone reliable, experienced, and genuinely connected to the well-being of animals, I’d love to help care for your pets like they’re part of my own family. Right now, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability during weekdays and weekends. I’m currently in between jobs, doing some part-time work related to my liquor license, so I can usually adjust my day around your pet’s needs—whether that’s early mornings, midday visits, evenings, or even last-minute requests. If you have a specific routine or timing in mind, just let me know—I’m happy to work with your schedule! Now that I’m able to offer care in my home again, I’m happy to welcome pets into a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment. I keep things peaceful, structured, and tailored to each animal’s needs—whether that means sticking to a strict routine, crating when requested, or offering a cozy place to relax. I also provide care in clients’ homes, where I’m always respectful of your space and your pet’s usual routine. I’m very familiar with dogs who like to run or explore, so I’m confident and careful with leashes, gates, and boundaries. Since moving to Fort Wayne, I’ve been exploring new trails and parks with a DNR pass, and I’d love to take your dog out for fresh air and adventure—at their pace and comfort level. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I take time to build trust and provide care that feels safe and familiar.

They have a nice back yard for the dog to run. They are always my 1st choice, when I want to leave my dog with anyone. You wont be dis appointed!!!”

Kim L.
“Kim is very knowledgeable with anything animal / pet related. With prior work history and working and calling on several veterinarian clinics and animal / pet hospitals she’s gained an incredible wealth of knowledge from the doctors, vet technicians, groomers and office administration staff at these pet hospitals and clinics to where she can not only care for her own pets but, keep and care for others. Kim values her own animals as members of her family because she adores them so and would do anything to keep them healthy and happy. Kim has a very great set up within her home to where she can house some doggos to sit and would enjoy the extra company for herself and her two companions which are extra children. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing her for 15 years and I’ve always saw the love and care she has to tend to her dogs and cats throughout the years that without a doubt she would be a great fit for when you need to get out of town for a weekend or some overnights. She’s kept my dog Grumpus and he played so much with her two dogs in the fenced in back yard he was so tired when I brought him home. He had so much fun. Please consider her for your next pet sitter! She’s an amazing and loving human.”

“Kendra is a spectacular and wonderful caretaker! One of the most caring and attentive with whom I have ever worked. She has experience taking care of dogs from puppy training through supporting old-age pups for at least a decade now. My mind is completely at ease when she is taking care of my very energetic trio! Kendra is a breeze to schedule and is very accommodating of irregular schedules, spays extra special attention to dietary and medication needs of pets, and pets absolutely adore her. Be warned, you will be jealous of how much your pets love Kendra!”
