About: I have grown up my whole life with animals, always a dog and a cat in our home. I go into any situation with an open mind and heart and I don’t let any sort of task daunt me. I walked a large huskey all throughout highschool and cared for my own pets with walks and other interactions. I find it very important to connect with animals on an emotional level and I try to do so with any animal I meet. I work in Hailey four days a week, but I am always open to discuss your pets’ needs and make adjustments if possible. If you are interested in me as a sitter, but wonder about what a schedule would look like, please reach out and I am more than happy to talk options! Additionally, I have a car so transportation is not an issue. With my own pets I am very loving and I try to spend quality time playing together or sitting together and relaxing. I plan to treat any pet I care for with the same mentality because it is important that pets trust the people who care for them and the best way to create trust is by establishing a caring bond.

About: I have always had more than two dogs throughout my life, and getting to take care of them is my favorite part of my day! Pet sitting fits well into my weekly routine because I am responsible, dependable, and have a flexible schedule. I can provide pets with regular feeding, exercise, attention. I provide safe, attentive care for pets in either my home or a client’s home. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, exercise, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention.

About: I have been around animals my entire life and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have experience with dogs at all life stages from puppies to seniors, as well as pups with reactive behaviors. I also have experience having my own cats growing up and taking care of others' cats throughout my life. I am patient and love giving cuddles and pets but also know how to keep boundaries when necessary. I work a full time job - four 10 hour shifts during the week but am able to do potty breaks during lunch when house sitting. Having owed my last dog for 15 years and never boarding him and now having a younger rescue with separation anxiety, I fully understand the importance of keeping your pet comfortable in their home while their parents are traveling or having to work long hours. I am happy to tire your pup out or just provide some love and attention while your away. For more independent pets, I am happy to do quick stops to let them out, walk, and feed them. For our more needy ones, I'd be happy to spend the night. If overnight stays are requested, I would need to bring my dog, Banks, with me. He is a good playmate and can help tire out and socialize your pup but would never be left with your pets unattended.

About: Born and raised on a ranch surrounded by all kinds of animals, I’ve always had a deep love for pets. We have a big Bernese Mountain Dog (and dogs!) who do everything with us. I’m a former wildland firefighter, so I love being outdoors—which means our dogs are always off on adventures. My family and I live a very active lifestyle, so if you’d like, I am more than happy to help keep your dogs exercised and engaged. Our family loves Blaine County, and I’m more than willing to travel throughout the county to care for your pups. We also love ending the day with a walk on a trail and relaxing with a movie. I would love for your dog to become a part of our family—we have plenty of love, energy, and attention to give. 🐾💛 I am a SAHM with very active kiddos, but do this when they are at school. It works great for us, and allows me to get more puppy time in. Because I have older dog who is stuck in his ways, I do not offer boarding. But that can and probably will change in the future:)

About: I started sitting in earnest four years ago, but grew up with my own dogs and often babysat for friends and family in high school and college. I’ve cared for Greyhounds, Border Collies, Shihtzus, Golden Retrievers, Corgis, APBTs, one Mastiff, one Akita, one senior German Shpeherd, and one Border Terrier/Shihtzu puppy. I’m a teaching artist, so my fluctuating schedule doesn’t allow me to have my own dogs, but the long periods of remote work and time between gigs means I have very flexible availability and can fill the hole in my heart by being a reliable, loving sitter for others. I really cherish any opportunity to spend time with any pups and look forward to meeting yours! I’m between gigs at the moment, so save some odd appointments, I’m available for morning, afternoon, or evening drop in walks, daytime sitting, or longer overnight stays and in-home sitting. I always prefer to take a walk with pet parents leading when I first meet new dogs to get a sense of what they’re used to. For multi-day sitting, I always follow whatever norms you set in your home to make sure training stays consistent and there’s no confusion that may create anxiety for your pups. If working remotely, I try to stay where pups can see me and take lots of breaks for walks, pottying, and pets. Unless you have a specific walking route, I like to stay on quieter streets with slower speed limits and less traffic so walks are calm. I also like to allow lots of time for sniffing (smells stimulate your pup’s brain!) unless you have behavioral or training concerns about avoiding distractions during walks.

I have roughly four years of unofficial experience caring for pets for neighbors, friends, and family, including dog walking, dog sitting, overnight care, cat care, and chicken care. I have experience caring for my own pets, including three dogs and one cat. I understand how important it is to provide pets with attention, patience, exercise, and consistent care. I enjoy spending time with animals and will meet your pet where they are. There is always time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you, their owners, are away. As a college student home for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule! This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pet care. If there is time I have blocked off, I always communicate clearly and work closely with pet owners to make schedules work whenever mutually possible. About: I have taken care of animals, whether they are my own or my neighbors since I was a child. I have fed, walked, bathed, given medications to, and played with most types of animals. I just moved to the area, so I currently have all the time in the world to hang out with your fur-babies. I have two cats of my own and I love to play with them, but I love meeting new animals and making friends. My cats have free roam of the house, and they are very well behaved. They are allowed outside with a harness on, and they love to explore. When taking care of animals in a home that is not my own, I typically ask what the owner prefers to do, and that will be my default for the time period I am caring for that animal.

About: I've taken care cats, dogs, and guinea pigs since I was a little kid. My family was super adventurous and we took our dogs everywhere with us. Growing up we fostered cats and dogs of all breeds and ages. I am a professional cross-country skier so I am very active during the day. I can go on many walks or runs with your dog if needed. I will be out for two hours in the morning and then free until the afternoon. Our cats are indoor cats because of our busy street. However, growing up we would let our cats out for however long they wanted and then let them in. We had a revolving door so when we were home they were allowed to go out. I will try to make you feel as comfortable and safe as possible when watching your pet.

About: Hi my name is Janis, I have lived in the wood river area for the past 5ish years and love it out here! I have grown up my whole life around dogs and I have also done many dog sitting and housing sitting jobs throughout the years. I love running, nordic skiing playing fetch and being outside in general so if you have a dog with a lot of energy we will be a good match. I have a flexible day time schedule so I am able to get the dogs out for a run, hike, bike, ski during the day. I have a small border collie husky mix named panda. She is really sweet and playful and gets along with all dogs. I also have a white border collie mix named ziggy who is super playful and loves all dogs and cats! I unfortunately can’t have more dogs in my home, but am happy to house and pet sit and will be sure to take great care of your place!

About: Now serving Lincoln County residents as well as the Wood River Valley. Because of my love for animals, I have been the go to person to ask to care for other's animals. My experience ranges from giving pills to a St. Bernard to taking a Terrior puppy out every two hours (into the night also) to go pee. I respect animals and know that I need to take care of them as if they were my own. I have two Border Collie mixes that are sweet and high energy. You will feel at ease while your pets are with me. I am willing to take on any pet and fit them into my life. My dogs are crate trained and that's where they sleep at night. Any visiting dogs can sleep where they like, whether it's on a bed, in a crate as well, or on the couch or floor. I make sure to keep my dogs' and others' dogs' food separate.
