“Rebecca was incredible at caring for our 95 lb Bernese Mountain Dog, Lindy. This was the first time I’ve used Rover and my experience with Rebecca, and her husband Greg, was everything I hoped for. Our dog is anxious with new people and Rebecca knew how to expertly handle the “getting to know you” period and my dog adjusted quickly. They took Lindy on hikes, played with her in the river and snuggled up with her at night. I loved all the pictures and video they sent. I will absolutely call Rebecca when I need to board my dog the next time. She definitely knows what she’s doing!!”

“Pamela is the best! We travel all over the country and Pamela is Ackee’s favorite sitter. Pamela sends many photos and updates and I can tell Ackee has so much fun. Looking forward to seeing her again soon!”

“Kira was very sweet to my dog and super flexible to work with. She reached out beforehand with a phone call to make sure we were on the same page for the sitting, which made me feel that she was responsible and trustworthy. She’s active and will definitely exercise your dog if you want it. I also received a picture of my dog and her dog curled up together next to her bed for the night.”

“My pup and I were very lucky to find Natalia at the last minute before a 7 day trip! We had a great meet and greet before I left to make sure everyone was comfortable, she helped with picking up and dropping off my gal, and sent the cutest photos/videos and updates every single day. My pup can be very shy and anxious so finding the right sitter is very important to me, and Natalia and her husband and their sweet pup did the best job of welcoming her and making her part of their fam! Will definitely be booking them again!”

“David - thank you for taking care of Taggert. I really hate being away from my dog. The way you observed my dog and me and instinctively knew how to put us at ease is so much appreciated. From the photos, I could tell he was well cared for and having a good time. Just what I needed during the ski race. I'd write a longer review, but Taggert wants me to hustle over to the grocery and get him, "the good cookies", that you gave him! Thanks again - Senja & Taggert”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with two labs and giving them several walks a day was always a high priority so they could burn up all that energy!I understand the importance of a good walk and how it can also be tough to squeeze in sometimes on a busy day. So don’t spend the day feeling guilty if your schedule won’t allow time to give your dog a walk. I can help. We usually let our dogs off the leash so they could run and fetch, but if you would rather me keep them on a leash that is what I will do. I have lived in the area for a while so I know plenty of spots to take them, or if you have preferred routes I will do that. On 3 occasions over the past couple years I have stayed with my sister and her husbands two dogs (lab mixed with Aussie Shepard) for a week at a time. They have as strict of a walking routine/diet as you can imagine and I had no problems satisfying their needs. I also understand that when traveling you cannot always bring your pet with you and putting them in a doggie hotel is both expensive and not a good time for them. If you’d like them to remain in the comfort of your home I’m happy to spend time with them and make sure they are comforted through that period. I work mornings from 5:30-noonish 5 days a week. I am available from 1 until 8 or 9 for walks or check-in’s, feeding, cleaning up. I’m a very active person so can take your dog on long walks, a hike or just play in the yard if preferred. My parents who are often not in town have a large very nice condo in elkhorn that is pet friendly that is available for use. There is an upstairs deck available off the living room for them to go between for them to get some fresh air The yard is not fenced so downstairs I could not leave them to roam. But neighborhood is quiet with a great path for walking them, also have trails out into the desert I could take them if alright.
About: Hi, I’m Jean! I’m here to make sure your dog lives their best Wood River Valley life. Think walks, hikes, river hangs, snow romps, and yes… the occasional puppuccino. I’m comfortable with pups of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I’m happy to tailor everything—exercise, routines, meds, cuddles—to whatever your dog needs to feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. If your dog thrives on adventure, chill time, or a little of both, I’ve got them. Let’s make their time with me feel like a mini vacation. I work for a local non profit and have a flexible schedule for the most part, working from and the office when I have meetings. I can easily sync with your schedule and your dog’s routine. My goal is simple: keep your pup comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I genuinely love all dogs, and I want yours to feel totally at ease with me. Whether I’m popping in for a quick visit or taking them out for a walk, I’ll do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for.

“Jori was fantastic. We left our 6-year old yellow lab with her for 3 days/3 nights at her house in Hailey. Our dog went on walks, hikes and swims with Jori. Our dog was having such a good time that we weren’t sure our lab would come home with us when we returned!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hailey
This was our 2nd time our dog Woody stayed with Joy and Joe and he absolutely loved it. They take the best care of him and he loves playing with their dog Scout. We had a last minute need to extend our trip and they were so accommodating - even willing to take our dog camping with them. We feel fortunate to have found Joy and Joe and will continue to use them further all future trips!

Kat was great! My timid pup warmed up to her quickly-she knew exactly how to approach her to make her feel comfortable. She took the time to understand my dogs personality, which made the experience so positive. I felt relieved to find someone I felt I could trust with my pup's happiness and safety!
