“Joe and Joy were wonderful! Their sweet golden Scout played very well with both our labradors. They took very good care of our 3 year old and our 10 week old. Puppies are not the easiest and they gave her lots of love and attention. They were happy pups when we returned home. We will be using them again and I highly recommend them!”

“Rebecca and her family were amazing! We have never had to board or leave our 10 year old, miniature schnauzer, Roxy. Our son was getting married in Sun Valley so we had a busy 4 days and pets were not allowed. Rebecca welcomed Roxy into her home and treated her as if she was one of her kids. She kept in touch daily and sent us lots of photos and videos. Roxy definitely loved her vacation in Sun Valley with Rebecca and her family and can’t wait to see them again.”

“Amber responded within 10 minutes that she could take Monty for the weekend. Our dog literally flew out of the house to greet Amber. The pictures over the weekend showed a very happy dog and content and tired when returned Sunday afternoon. Would rate 10 stars if possible.”

About: Hi! I’m Nova! I am a college student at Idaho State University home for the summer with a flexible schedule and a genuine love for ALL animals. I have roughly four years of unofficial experience caring for pets for neighbors, friends, and family, including dog walking, dog sitting, overnight care, cat care, and chicken care. I have experience caring for my own pets, including three dogs and one cat. I understand how important it is to provide pets with attention, patience, exercise, and consistent care. I enjoy spending time with animals and will meet your pet where they are. There is always time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you, their owners, are away. As a college student home for the summer, I have a very flexible schedule! This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to your pet care. I am available throughout the summer until I return to school in early August. If there is time I have blocked off, I always communicate clearly and work closely with pet owners to make schedules work whenever mutually possible. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable, attentive, and caring looking after your pet. Safety, trust, and making pets feel comfortable are very important to me when caring for animals. I always try to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, waters / meals on schedule, and a good environment. I am also willing to provide regular updates and communication so you owners feel confident in your pet care. I primarily offer care in clients’ homes and through dog walking visits, as I have pets of my own at home and this helps simplify care for you and me! I find that many pets are also more comfortable staying in their familiar environment, where they can keep their normal routines and surroundings. I always respect clients’ homes, follow instructions carefully, and make pet safety my top priority during walks, visits, and overnight stays.
“Kira was very sweet to my dog and super flexible to work with. She reached out beforehand with a phone call to make sure we were on the same page for the sitting, which made me feel that she was responsible and trustworthy. She’s active and will definitely exercise your dog if you want it. I also received a picture of my dog and her dog curled up together next to her bed for the night.”

About: I grew up with hound dogs and helped care for them from the time I was 7 years old. As an adult I have 2 dogs myself who I love to take out trail running and hiking. Whether your pet needs playtime, gentle care, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, I'm here to help. Your dog will be treated like family here. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know exactly how they're doing. Feel free to message me with any questions, I’d love to meet you and your pet! I work 4 days a week. I’m free for drop-ins and walks before and after work, plus fully available for the weekend. I’m an active person and enjoy using my free time to care for and exercise dogs. Pets are allowed on furniture, its their home too! I live in a townhouse but can take them out for potty breaks on the bike path.
“David - thank you for taking care of Taggert. I really hate being away from my dog. The way you observed my dog and me and instinctively knew how to put us at ease is so much appreciated. From the photos, I could tell he was well cared for and having a good time. Just what I needed during the ski race. I'd write a longer review, but Taggert wants me to hustle over to the grocery and get him, "the good cookies", that you gave him! Thanks again - Senja & Taggert”

About: I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog, Mazie, who’s now 13—so I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to care for a dog at every stage of life. When she was younger, it meant long hikes, constant activity, and keeping up with a big, energetic dog. Now, it’s slower walks, patience, and paying close attention to her comfort and needs. Because of that, I’m very comfortable caring for both high-energy puppies and older dogs that need a more gentle, attentive approach. I’ve also been someone that friends and neighbors consistently trust for pet sitting and house sitting. I treat it like more than just a quick check-in—I make sure pets are exercised, engaged, and feel comfortable in their environment. I work remotely, so I’m home most of the day. That means your dog isn’t sitting around waiting for attention—I can take them out regularly, go on walks, play, or just keep them company throughout the day. I’m active myself, so if your dog loves walks, hikes, or just getting outside, I’m all for it. And if they’re more low-key, I’m just as happy keeping things calm and consistent. I work remotely, so I’m around for most of the day and can be very flexible with walks, potty breaks, and attention. I typically step out for about an hour a day to go to the gym or biking, but otherwise I’m home and available. Occasionally I’ll go out for dinner with friends, but I’m usually back at a reasonable time and don’t stay out late. Overall, your pet will have a lot of consistent presence and attention, not just quick visits. I try to keep things simple, safe, and consistent with whatever your pet is used to. I follow instructions closely—feeding routines, walk schedules, medications, or anything specific you want done. I also like to keep pets within sight as much as possible so I can pick up on their behavior and needs quickly. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I make sure the environment stays clean, calm, and secure. I’m mindful of things like doors, food access, and anything that could be unsafe. My goal is for your pet to feel comfortable and for you to feel completely confident knowing they’re being looked after properly.
“Natalia's home is like a doggy spa + slumber party! It is so comforting to know that Coco is cared for when I have to travel without her. Natalia provided daily updates and pictures/videos - which was such a sweet reminder that Coco is living her best life at the dog sitters house!”

About: Hi there! I'm Hannah and I have always enjoyed spending time with dogs. Growing up, my family always had a dog. Currently, I have a husky/shepherd mix. I am very athletic and enjoy walking, especially with a furry friend. I am enthusiastic, energetic and compassionate. Over the years I have taken care of my neighbor's pets as well as my coworker's. I look forward to meeting you and your doggo! I am an actress/ singer/ dancer. I also teach voice lessons and sing with local bands in the valley. My schedule is flexible as it varies weekly. About: Hi, I’m Jean! I’m here to make sure your dog lives their best Wood River Valley life. Think walks, hikes, river hangs, snow romps, and yes… the occasional puppuccino. I’m comfortable with pups of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, and I’m happy to tailor everything—exercise, routines, meds, cuddles—to whatever your dog needs to feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. If your dog thrives on adventure, chill time, or a little of both, I’ve got them. Let’s make their time with me feel like a mini vacation. I work for a local non profit and have a flexible schedule for the most part, working from and the office when I have meetings. I can easily sync with your schedule and your dog’s routine. My goal is simple: keep your pup comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I genuinely love all dogs, and I want yours to feel totally at ease with me. Whether I’m popping in for a quick visit or taking them out for a walk, I’ll do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with two labs and giving them several walks a day was always a high priority so they could burn up all that energy!I understand the importance of a good walk and how it can also be tough to squeeze in sometimes on a busy day. So don’t spend the day feeling guilty if your schedule won’t allow time to give your dog a walk. I can help. We usually let our dogs off the leash so they could run and fetch, but if you would rather me keep them on a leash that is what I will do. I have lived in the area for a while so I know plenty of spots to take them, or if you have preferred routes I will do that. On 3 occasions over the past couple years I have stayed with my sister and her husbands two dogs (lab mixed with Aussie Shepard) for a week at a time. They have as strict of a walking routine/diet as you can imagine and I had no problems satisfying their needs. I also understand that when traveling you cannot always bring your pet with you and putting them in a doggie hotel is both expensive and not a good time for them. If you’d like them to remain in the comfort of your home I’m happy to spend time with them and make sure they are comforted through that period. I work mornings from 5:30-noonish 5 days a week. I am available from 1 until 8 or 9 for walks or check-in’s, feeding, cleaning up. I’m a very active person so can take your dog on long walks, a hike or just play in the yard if preferred. My parents who are often not in town have a large very nice condo in elkhorn that is pet friendly that is available for use. There is an upstairs deck available off the living room for them to go between for them to get some fresh air The yard is not fenced so downstairs I could not leave them to roam. But neighborhood is quiet with a great path for walking them, also have trails out into the desert I could take them if alright.

Hailey dog parents share their Rover experiences
Joy & Joe were great to work with and Woody had an excellent time. We enjoyed the pictures and updates and appreciated their flexibility when we had to make a few last minute adjustments to our plans. The communication was excellent and Woody is looking forward to his return at the end of the month!

Kat was great! My timid pup warmed up to her quickly-she knew exactly how to approach her to make her feel comfortable. She took the time to understand my dogs personality, which made the experience so positive. I felt relieved to find someone I felt I could trust with my pup's happiness and safety!

Heidi took amazing care of my two Australian shepherds for ~10 days. When I picked them up they were happy, healthy, well-exercised and entertained, and unsure they wanted to leave the best summer camp ever. I can’t say enough positive things- from meet & greet to pick up Heidi’s communication was excellent. It is apparent she and her partner truly adore dogs and understand their needs. ❤️
