About: I have had pets as well as watched other people's pets all of my life. Because of my love for animals, I have been the go to person to ask to care for other's animals. My experience ranges from giving pills to a St. Bernard to taking a Terrior puppy out every two hours to go pee. I respect animals and know that I need to take care of them as if they were my own. I have a Border Collie mix that is sweet and high energy. I make time to care for her and I will do the same for you! You will feel at ease while your pets are with me. I thank you in advance for your consideration and hope that we will work together soon! I make it work. I love that I can be there for someone and care for their pets. I am willing to take on any pet and fit them into my life. I have a dog who loves playing with other dogs. She is crate trained and that's where she sleeps at night. Any visiting dogs can sleep where they like, whether it's on a bed, in a crate as well, or on the couch or floor. My dog's food is in her crate, which is shut whenever there is another dog over. Others' dogs' food is set in a separate place.
7. Hannah N.
“Hannah is an absolute joy - accountable, trustworthy and playful. The perfect combination for a reliable, responsible dog walker. She supported my family with dog walking services when I became a new mother, managing a newborn and an energetic puppy in an apartment-style building (no yard/easy access for walks). She was genuinely excited to spend time with our pup and demonstrated the consistent timeliness and communication with us plans ever changed. We never had any concerns when our puppy was in Hannah's care. We are so grateful to have Hannah in our family's circle of support and I am sure you will too!”
8. Denali S.
“Denali is my dog’s favorite person. My dog Honey, a soft coated wheaten terrier, is a very high energy and sweet dog. When people come over she jumps and gets very excited. Denali tells her to sit and calms her down in a positive manner. She plays with Honey and is always willing to take her out on walks. When she visits, Denali will feed Honey, give her treats, and check on her water bowl.”
9. Christine G.
“Christine took care of my fur kids as if they were her own. She has went above and beyond and I cannot recommend her enough! If you want someone to love and treat your fur kids as you would, she is THE one! And, bonus, I've made a lifetime friend!”
10. Nicole R.
“Nicole is the best. Great with my pups, one of whom has been recently dog reactive. Dogs came back TIRED from those walks, which every dog parent loves.”
11. Rebecca B.
“Rebecca is fantastic. Friendly, professional and loves dogs. We can’t imagine anyone we’d rather look after our pups. ⭐️”
12. Molly R.
“Molly is a dog-lover and a responsible, professional and kind-hearted individual. I often have her care for my two dogs, one a young, playful aussie and one an old, deaf, grandpa. Molly is sensitive to requests and special needs and gives my pups the love and attention I want them to enjoy everyday! A local resident with good trail and safety knowledge, she is communicative and conscientious.”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, horses. Today, I have two dogs of my own (2 medium doodles) that are well-behaved, active, and socially compatible. I believe in one daily romp to ensure your dog stays active and ultimately has fun outside and gets tired. They will be well-behaved; l'll remove them from any unsafe situation. I pick up the extra poops at the park, bring back balls, and I don't throw the ball because some dogs can't share. I fast-walk, slow-walk, run or Nordic skate with yours because that's what I do with mine. Sometimes a short loop, 10 min. Sometimes a 40-60 min hike depending on the dog. Caring, kind, safe environment with a firm hand. I will reinforce your sit/down/stay/wait/ here training. Only available summer May1-June 30, and again Oct-Nov 2024. I work from home, am caregiver to my elderly mother in winter, and walk my own dogs four times a day, before bfast, lunch, dinner and last pee at 10pm. I have a flexible schedule. Like humans, dogs have to know their boundaries. My two dogs are not allowed on furniture and I don't expect yours to be on my furniture. I have gates to restrict their access to parts of the house including no access to upstairs. We all do better this way.
14. Jenny H.
“Our dogs absolutely adore Jenny. She puts them first every time, kneeling on the ground to give them her undivided attention...making their day. I can always tell when she's walking up to the house because our dogs get SOO excited!”
15. Adam M.
About: I have taken care of all types of dogs since I was 10. I have walked and boarded dogs for the WAG app for 8 years and am now trying Rover! I currently am not working. I am available anytime. My schedule is very flexible so I can make time. I have a car and can be available whenever needed. I am very respectful of other peoples homes and always follow directions. I have dog sat and house sat in Sun Valley for a year now. I have just now decided to make a profile on Rover.
16. Jori M.
“It is so hard to find a person to leave your dogs with that you trust. Jori is very reliable, responsible, and is one of the only people I would trust with my dogs. She is a great dog mom and loves animals. I would highly reccommed her to watch your dog knowing he is safe with her!”
17. Kenya S.
About: I love to care for animals... I grew up with two cats, two dogs, and a pet rat. I'm a Sun Valley native so I understand how important it is for dogs to get out and play, and explore the outdoors like we get to! I have experience volunteering at the Idaho Mountain Humane Society. I would love to spend time with your pet whether it's playtime, medication administration, long runs on the trails, or simply hanging out at home. I work remotely so I have plenty of time to hang out with your pets all day and take them for walks. I grew up in Sun Valley, and spend my time now between Seattle and here. I love my hometown more than anything and getting the chance to spend time here with your lovable, adorable pets would make my day! I am a respectful young women who would keep your home clean, and your pets happy. I would follow any rules you lay out for the accommodations to make you and your animals content and at ease.
18. Polly H.
About: I am a lifelong lover of animals and enjoy their company more than anything else in the world. I have owned pets since I was 6 years old, and their well-being and quality of life are essential to me. I take the same approach with your pets- I promise to love them as much as I love my own! I spend at least an hour, usually longer, doing something fun outdoors with pets. When pet sitting in your home, I will provide basic "house sitting" duties, such as watering plants and collecting mail. If you desire other services, such as a deep house cleaning, I'd be happy to discuss those with you as well. As a former employee of Mountain Humane and Hound Around Town LLC, I know how varying pet personalities and special needs can be, and I am willing to adapt to different circumstances and provide the best care possible for your pets. I am currently enrolled in an online canine massage course, and would love to do some practice on your pets, if you preferred. I have a ton of experience caring for geriatric pets, and also hold a lot of knowledge in regards to holistic pet care approaches. I look forward to answering any questions you may have and potentially meeting your pups! Note: I love cats and offer cat sitting as well as dog sitting! I’m happy to stay at your house or visit your kitty while you’re away. My schedule varies weekly, but I typically walk a dog or small group of them, or provide other miscellaneous pet care duties, around 2-3 days per week. I love to bring your pups along if the arrangement is agreeable, but if not, I am never away from your pets for longer than around three hours. I am a certified professional through a nonprofit organization named the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. This required me to take an extensive course to learn detailed information regarding the care of different types of animals. I will care for any creature except snakes! I am reliable and give your pets the same care and attention and love I have always given my own.
19. Betty P.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 13! Whether it be neighbors, friends, or family members. Not only that but I’ve owned dogs my whole life so pet care comes very second nature to me. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have all day open on Tuesday Wednesdays and Thursdays so my schedule is very easy. My neighborhood has lots of parks in walking distance so taking the dogs on walks would be super easy! I also have a car if there are preferred places you would like your pup to go.
