“Gabe was an amazing dog sitter! He took care of our pup all weekend, staying in our home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was incredibly responsive, kept us updated with photos, and made sure our dog got plenty of walks and attention. Communication was excellent throughout, and we really appreciated the peace of mind knowing our pet was in great hands. Plus, our home was spotless when we returned! We’d absolutely recommend Gabe to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter, and we’ll definitely be booking with him again.”

“Emily did a fantastic job with my dog Jack. She went beyond what we asked and made sure Jack had the best week full of walks and cuddles. We got regular updates and photos, and everything looked great when we got home.”

About: enjoy taking dogs for off-leash adventures…I mean look where we live! I also loving caring for senior pets…they are truly the best and sweetest ones… i’m semi-retired and have lots of time, and a deep love of ALL the animals but dogs in particular. I want to work part time, and helping others with their pets seems like a great way to do it.. I have a condo free of distractions or dangers for your pet, and I live just a very short walk from the dog park on Warm Springs in Ketchum…

“Absolutely fabulous! Took immaculate care of my dog and even gave her a bath! He washed his sheets and kept everything clean and tidy. Sent messages and videos to keep us updated. 💯 recommend!”

“The best dog sitter I have ever had!!! We received multiple updates a day with lots of pictures of a very happy dog, constant communication, and she went above and beyond what we asked for walks, attention, etc. Could not recommend more!”

“Both my dogs recommend Adam. His calm nature and laid-back personality helped them feel relaxed. He was the perfect buffer to help introduce a new dog into my household. Really appreciated his handyman abilities, helping me program devices and keeping the new condo up to speed. He is an enthusiastic dog walker, so there was plenty of exercise for the new pup. We all enjoyed making his acquaintance and look forward to booking him again.. Pam, Ace and DeeDee”

“Wow! Best dog sitter we've had in Sun Valley! Shelby provided a continuous stream of photos and information while we we gone so we never worried about our pups or our home. Shelby left our home sparkling clean.”

About: Since I was born, I've not known life without pets. My childhood dog, a beagle mix, paved the way as I took my first steps. She would even sometimes playfully bite my leg (there is a picture somewhere to prove this). When I was 8 years old, my brother and I begged my mom for a cat. Her stipulations were classic of a parent whose kids wanted to adopt a pet: the kids who wanted the pet in the first place are responsible for the care taking! So, my brother and I took turns with the feeding, scooping the litter box, and playing with her. A couple of years later, we added a new cat to the family! It was double the responsibility but double the fun—Odie (the black cat pictured) is still in my life to this day. Some of my most valuable pet care experience didn't come from home though; in high school, I worked at a doggy daycare center. It was one of those environments that threw you into the deep end so that you could learn how to swim. I was a Big Dog Handler, in which I patrolled the yard filled with 40-90 free roaming dogs of all different breeds, shapes, sizes, temperaments, and personalities. As you can imagine, quarrels and kerfuffles of all kinds were breaking out just about every sixty seconds. My job was to mediate and make sure everyone was safe and getting along. That job was not for the weak! Additionally, we would kennel the dogs during mealtimes and perform "pup checks" which were simply physicals to make sure the dogs were in good health and report any changes while their owners were away. Not to mention in order to effectively fulfill the job duties, I had to memorize every dog's name and breed! My most recent pet care experience was when I worked for my hometown's local version of Rover (Kansas City Pet Pals) I cared for cats and dogs while their owners were out of town or at work, sometimes staying overnight in their homes. Whether it was playing with their animals, feeding them, administering meds, scooping litter, or simply keeping them company, I was 100% there. I am currently in between full-time jobs so I have all the free time in the world to make sure your pets are well taken care of. In my current home, I'm assisting with caring for three cats. I scoop litter boxes, feed them, play with them, and give them pets and cuddles. In former clients' homes, I've done all of the above in addition to letting dogs outside, walking them, playing fetch, and administering medications to both dogs and cats.
“Lorraine was the best!! She had an action packed day planned for Luna and she had a great time with her sweet Kati! She was so flexible with drop off and pick up times to accommodate our situation!! We really appreciate her caring for Luna and welcoming her into her home. Lorraine is so kind and highly recommended her!! Will definitely look her up if we're in the area again!”

“Jackie was fantastic! She was extremely responsible and took care of my dog like she was her own. Jackie went above and beyond with making sure my dog had a fun day with her. I would definitely recommend Jackie for your pets!”

With my love for dogs and a flexible routine, I’m committed to providing the attention and care your pet deserves, whether it’s a daily walk or a longer sitting engagement. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, and honestly, my life just doesn’t feel complete without them. I’ve had 3 dogs, 3 cats and lots of different animal. Ever since I was little, I’ve always been gentle and caring with every animal. Animals aren’t just pets to me they’re family. I love spending time with them, whether it’s playing, cuddling, or just making sure they feel safe and happy. I’m studying psychology and hope to combine that with my love for animals in the future, maybe as a vet or through therapy work. For now, I bring experience, care, and a lot of love to every pet I get to look after. I’m currently working part-time until September 15. I usually work 12–7 PM, and my days off are Thursdays and Fridays, so I’m free all day then. On other days, I’m available for dog walks in the morning before work or in the evening after. I have a house back in my home country in Europe, and I currently have a dog and a cat. My dog lives inside but gets lots of outdoor time, and my cat goes in and out as she pleases. I walk my dog three times a day, and sometimes we go on long hikes. I really believe dogs should spend as much time outside as possible, get plenty of exercise, love, and a good diet. In my home, pets are safe, happy, and super well cared for. I’d give the same care, attention, and love to any pets I look after making sure they’re happy, safe, and well taken care of.
“Everything seemed to have gone well. Whitney met us in person before sitting for Marlin and came again the day prior to make sure she had all the information needed and to get a lay of the land. She sent photos of marlin. Although we did not set expectations prior, in the future we would like more frequent updates. We would hire her again.”

“Audrey is AWESOME! She was so sweet with our dog,,gave her a ton of loving attention and exercise, sent pictures of their adventures daily and is overall super responsive and responsible. I highly recommend her!”

About: I always ask if I can pet the dogs I see when I’m out! My soul dog is 14 years old and has been my best friend while growing up. I have watched dogs and cats throughout high school and college for neighbors and friends. I truly get excited when someone wants me to take care of their animals, I’ll take any time I can get with dogs or cats! All animals have their own personalities and routines, which is important to follow when watching them. I love to get all the details or fun facts about your pet to ensure I do the best possible job. I’m currently working at Sun Valley Co, but I have a set schedule (tue/wed/fri/sat) and am flexible. I am somewhat busy during the holidays, but would love to plan if you have any travel plans and need a sitter! A pet is a part of the family, so they should be treated with care and intention. I always have an eye on whichever animal I’m watching and love to play with them, go for long walks, and lots of sniffs. I’ll respect their boundaries but I love cuddles and will pet them till they’re content. I even treat my friends and family members pets with kindness and care when I’m around them. All of my friends say that I’m their pets favorite visitor! I usually am over the top when giving the animal attention and pets, and giving them love until they’re done.
About: I was born and raised with ducks, chickens, goats, rabbits, horses, cats dogs and pretty much every other animal you could imagine, so I have lots of animal care experience as well as many house and pet sitting jobs over the years. I’ve recently cleared my schedule to be able to spend as much time as possible hiking, playing with and caring for your animals and households. I currently am not able to house your pets so it will have to be in your home. I do own a truck with a back seat or crate in the back whatever you prefer to get to trails or play in the river if transport is needed.
