I have lived with dogs and cats my whole life, and got my own mixed breed pup four years ago. I have completed two levels of dog handling training with an animal shelter where I volunteered for several years, and have experience with reactive and anxious dogs. I use positive reinforcement training with my own dog and am happy to support your training methods with your dog.

Kira is a wonderful pet sitter. Our dogs immediately felt comfortable with her and we knew they would be in good hands. She sent photos and updates and took wonderful care of our home. We would definitely use Kira again.
Kira is one of the Rovers you never have to worry about while you are away... you just know your fuzzball is in good hands. My cat was well taken care of and communication was great.

Kira was a wonderful host for my dog. She was incredibly flexible (even on a holiday), sent many updates on how my dog was doing, and got her tons of exercise. I couldn't have asked for a better host.
Kira was very sweet to my dog and super flexible to work with. She reached out beforehand with a phone call to make sure we were on the same page for the sitting, which made me feel that she was responsible and trustworthy. She’s active and will definitely exercise your dog if you want it. I also received a picture of my dog and her dog curled up together next to her bed for the night.

Schedule
I am a teacher, so I am home on most weekday afternoons and weekends. I also have larger chunks of time over holidays and summer.

I live in an apartment with a roommate and two dogs. I take my own dog out for three walks per day, and plan to do that with your dog as well! We love to hike, bike, and ski.
