About: NOTE: BASED OUT OF BURLINGTON, VT FOR THE COLLEGE SEASON I’ve owned and cared for dogs, cats, and everything in-between for as long as I can remember. From pit-bulls to terriers, handicapped chickens to one eyed kittens and animals with at least 8 legs, i’ve seen it all. Apart from caring for my own dogs, cats, and other pets over the years, I did freelance petsitting and dog walking in and around my neighborhood for around seven years, ranging from dog walks while the owner was at work, to late night cat feedings and prescription medication administration, to trying to give a rabbit a bath. I have a high level of experience caring for both puppies/kittens and elderly dogs and cats, having worked to foster puppies and kittens with my local ASPCA for nearly a decade as well as helped raise and train one of my family dogs, and care for my elderly, disabled dog in her later years. I also have background training with the ASPCA regarding animal safety (specifically reactive or defensive dogs) and basic dog and cat body language, crucial aspects of keeping everyone involved healthy and happy! I’m currently a college student home for the summer- my schedule is very open and very flexible, depending on the individual needs of the animal. I can match whatever level of energy your pet needs within the home- whether it be constant cuddles and attention, hours of playtime, or just an omniscient hand filling the food bowl and grabbing the leash! I’m comfortable administering oral or topical medications, able to control and crate dogs if the need arises, and (i’d like to think) i’ve learned some pretty good strategies to stop unwanted barking late at night over the years. I value the mental and physical comfort of the animal i’m caring for first and foremost, whether that means hands on attention or a more quiet, calm approach to time spent with your pet. I’m willing to care for and spend time with shy or reactive dogs as long as they’re within my size range. Having owned both a very senile, timid dog and a very reactive, defensive dog, it’s important to me that they receive the amount of care and attention in the home they deserve :)

About: As a former dog owner, I’ve played a crucial role in nurturing our furry friends. Meeting all essential needs- and more- I have skills in training, caring for, and loving animals as they deserve. Coming from a pet-loving family, my experience dates back to my formative years. I am a graduate student and therapist, with enough flexibility and autonomy within my schedule to treat your pet with TLC! Your pet is allowed to enjoy the space fully, and can also be crated per the owner’s request based on the dog’s usual routines.

About: I have had a dog my entire life and have taken care of many other dogs including in home sitting, walking, and drop ins. I have also taken a dog training class, so I have experience training puppies. I work full time but get off at either 4:30 or 5:30 so I have plenty of time at night to come over for a visit and walk! I have plenty of greenery outside my apartment for walks and places to meet other dogs as well. However, I am not offering in home service.

I’m a marine scientist and current law student who happens to love terrestrial animals too, especially dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, ages, personalities, and temperaments. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats, personally and walking for Wag. As a previous dog owner, I know what a good walk or a session of tug-of-war can do for a pup! I can walk or run with your dog or just hang out for a while, whatever they need. I have two dogs of my own and look forward to caring for your pet as if they were my own. About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes. My dad grew up training dogs and my mom can’t live without them. Currently I have a senior chihuahua who I rescued when he was surrendered to the shelter at 10 years old. He has been the best addition to the family. Growing up I watched neighbors dogs and in college I babysat my friend’s dogs often. I do not have experience training puppies but I do have experience with senior dogs and dogs that require more medical attention than others. I am currently a part-time student and on the part-time job search so I have plenty of time during the week to care for additional pets. I live in an apartment so I don’t have a backyard but there is plenty of green space outside my apartment and a trail. I have a senior dog who is very friendly and used to interacting with small and large dogs because my family has dogs of all sizes and personality. My goal in caring for other dogs is to not disturb their routine. My dog for example is happy to sleep the day away but an active dog would need more activity and enrichment which I’m happy to provide.

About: I have a soft spot for all furry animals, including those not. Having patience is just something that I obtain naturally. I’m some situations, Dogs can become overstimulated or even upset/depressed. Identifying the over-stimuli or sad situation can allow me to empathize & understand how to approach your pet. About: *** NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS *** Ever since I was born there’s been a dog in my house, so I’ve grown up learning how to care for and interact with them. At six years old I began taking care of neighbors, friends, and family’s pets, especially dogs. I have some experience in training, but for the most part I love to walk, cuddle, play with, clean, feed, and otherwise care for any and every dog I meet. I also spent time working at a dog daycare and park and learning their behaviors and better how to care for and stimulate them. No matter the shyness of a dog, I have yet to meet one I could not befriend. I care for my family dog daily, ensuring he gets his meals, outside time, and as much love as possible. Whenever I have free time, I always try to spend it around him or other pets. I have a fenced in yard, and live near two parks with lots of walking trails to engage your dog with the world around them. “Meg is the BEST! Not sure where to begin - so here goes: Response time: She contacted me in under a half hour even while she was away for the weekend on a get-away. She answers every e-mail in a timely way and also asks tons of questions so you know she is well prepared. Tech support: The Rover site kept automatically tacking on an "extended stay fee" because I booked two visits in one day. She removed this after contacting support herself and updated my account before her first visit. Rates: Her rates are the BEST in the area. Persona: We scheduled a meet and greet right away - Meg has a great persona and put the whole family at ease. We have an 8 week old pup and are so in love! Meg is great with her and even brought treats to the meet & greet to establish trust from the very start. Even my step-daughter, who is normally wide-eyed and silent started talking to Meg from alone - so Meg is great with kids too! ;)”

About: We both have always taken care of dogs since young ages. I would be lying if I said our dogs don’t run the show at our house! Many friends and family rely on us to make sure their pets are getting the best treatment possible while they are away. Boarding is very stressful for the pup and we like to know that we are making a difference in putting your mind at ease about your fur baby, along with giving the pup a stress free experience. We are self employed and create our own schedules, which allows us to be home more than someone working 9-5 if we leave the house it is for very short periods. We have a fenced yard along with two friendly dogs for your dog to enjoy. We are also happy to crate your pup and/or crate our own pups so your pup can have the most comfortable stay. About: I have worked for Bark Central Doggie Daycare boarding, daycare, and training facility for 4 years where I had to handle up to 60 dogs at one time by myself. I would feed, water, bathe, give medicine, clean up after, and keep them entertained. I have learned SO much about animal behavior and my passion for dogs has only grown! I'm experienced with many types of breeds (giant and mini) and love getting to know new ones! I respect any amount of maintenance one needs for their animal because I would appreciate the same for mine! Im a 2 sport collegiate athlete who loves to be active with your dog.
