About: Hi! My name is Cami, and I live in Fredericksburg with my husband, Cam, our daughter, and our two cats. Cam and I both work with children and love helping families, whether that means caring for their little ones or their furry family members! Over the years, family, friends, and neighbors have trusted us to walk, feed, and care for their pets while they’re away. We make a great team and understand how important it is to know your fur babies are in good hands. We’ll treat your pets like part of our family and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. We’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry friend and give them a home away from home! 🐾 My husband and I are both early risers, with our day starting around 5 AM! During the school year, I work full-time as a preschool teacher and am home by 5 PM. Cam and I both work just five minutes away, so we’re able to come home during our lunch breaks between 12:45 and 2:15 PM to check on and spend time with your pets. We’re available before and after work, overnight, on weekends and holidays, and for extended stays. I’m happy to work around my teaching schedule to provide reliable, loving care and make sure your fur babies feel right at home! We have plenty of space around our home for walks and outdoor time. Our two cats are very friendly and comfortable around other animals. We have a 2 story house with a finished basement. We are able to accommodate crating/pet separation if needed and can care for multiple pets when appropriate.

I always triple check doors are locked when I leave, and that there is nothing in reach that could be harmful to your pets. (human food, dog treats, toys etc)

I have an open schedule to cover their needs and care while I’m on duty and they become my family for the time they are with me. I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs for over 15 years typically small and medium sized dogs. I do have experience with some larger breeds on basic essential needs and care. I went through a battle of IVDD with my French Bulldog who passed which took a role on how I view the time with animals in general. I have an open schedule and extremely accommodating to your needs. Safety is my upmost concern and as a veterinary technician and a groomer, I am very experienced in dog and cat care and would love to babysit your little angel! My hours are not necessarily tied to a desk or computer either, so I am able to do walks freely throughout the day. Depending on the customers request, I am able to accommodate most housing accomodations. There is a room specifically designated in the house for the pet for the duration of the stay, which has toys, beds, food and water as well as a TV. it’s also a daybed for me as well so that I am able to stay in the room with your pet. My backyard is large and it’s open, however I will be keeping pers on-leash anytime they are outside.
