About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life growing up, specifically chocolate labs and a yellow lab, as well as three cats (previously). Since I have grown up with pets, specifically from rescue organizations and animal shelters, I have worked thoroughly with them to train and help them adapt to living with me in my home, as well as help them feel part of my family. I’m a college student currently home for the summer, so I’m available most days - often all day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights. Pet care fits seamlessly into my flexible routine, and I’m happy to accommodate different schedules. I’ve had pets my entire life, three cats and four dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I currently live with two chocolate labs, and one of them is super high energy, so I’m used to keeping dogs active with walks, playtime, and positive structure. I’ve also spent years volunteering at local animal shelters with both cats and dogs, which has given me experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I’ll always make sure they feel safe, loved, and at ease.

“I have a high energy pitbull, Lizzy, and Vicki handled her like a pro and brought her home happy and tired after a walk. Vicki is super nice and knows how to handle large and strong dogs. Lizzy had so much fun and is looking forward to her next walk with Vicki.”

About: I am an exceptional dog trainer which is another service that I provide. I don't mind working with troubled or hard cases. Raised dogs half my life. Used to be deeply involved with different rescue operations and local vets to do what I can for these pups. Also have experience with dog boarding at corporate facilities however I run everything right out of my home. So it's more like visiting your pups uncle Marco rather than a lil puppy prison. My other day job is taking care of my handicapped mother so no reason that I can't take care if some furry balls of move too while I'm at it! I'm home often which is where I board and watch the puppers. So we have a fenced in back yard and a large house. My mother does smoke but only upstairs and in her room. Bad mother! However its relatively isolated and isnt noticeable from downstairs. We have a 5 year old labrador retriever and small house cat to keep any visitors entertained! They are both very playful, gentle and non aggressive

About: I will take care of your best friend with the same love I show my sweet Labrador’s. I will show patience and love with each of your dogs walks and make sure that they get all their business done, plenty of exercise and time for sniffing all the things as well. If I sit over night you will have to specify not to let them on the bed bc I will want to snuggle and make them feel at ease while you are gone. I will send pictures of your pet playing, relaxing and keep you up to date on if he/she used the bathroom and make you feel comfortable while away from your pet because I know it’s not always easy. I will be your best friends, friend.

About: I’ve worked at a dog daycare for about 3 years. Every time i walked into work the dogs would get so excited to see me. It was like a win, win. I’ve been around animals my whole life and genuinely love spending time with them, whether it’s going on long walks, playing fetch back and forth, or just giving them the cuddles they want! I have a fenced in backyard at home and can let them freely run around. I would say I’m very responsible and patient and will treat your pet like family! Feel free to reach out to me anytime!! I am a quick responder to all forms of communication. I have plenty of time during the day and the evening to give your pet the best care and attention. I would say mostly everyday just depending on work. I care for pets like they’re my own with lots of love and cuddles. I like to get to know each of the dogs personality and their routines.

About: I’ve been around dogs (and cats) my entire life. I have plenty of experience with house sitting from 1 night to 7 nights. I watch pets of my neighbors, family, and whoever else who has received my phone number from Rover and referrals! I’m taking on a part-time job in Clinton, but am willing to work around that schedule. I’m flexible and will be able to schedule and plan in advance. Depending on where you and your pet(s) are located, I typically like to take them out for a nice hike, walk, or trip to the dog park. However, I understand this is not an option for some dogs who may not be socialized or leash trained very well. If you have a yard, I’d be happy to run around/play ball with your dog as long as I need to.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past few years. I grew up having a dog and have always helped caring for and loving it! Im available during the week after 5pm. My weekend availability is flexible! Please reach out with any requests! My daily work hours are 8-430 Monday-Friday. I would provide care to your pets by giving it lots of love and attention. I will spend as much time walking, playing with, and watching your pet!

About: I grew up in a home full of pets (dogs and fish!) and have nearly a decade of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and everything in between. From walking and feeding to giving animals meds and hugs, I’ve done nearly everything both for my own pets and for neighbors’ pets! I’m familiar with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and needs, and I always tailor my care to each animal’s personality. Whether your pet is shy, energetic, or elderly, I’ve got them covered with love, patience, and attention to detail. Additionally: I have a degree in Environmental Studies, and am also great with houseplants and happy to keep them thriving while you're away! I’d love to meet your pets and help make your time away as stress-free as possible for both of you. I am working part-time, so every day besides Wednesdays and Fridays I can work anytime! (Wednesdays and Fridays I can work before 3!) I love animals and would love to give your best friend a slot of time filled with everything they love doing! I provide pet care exclusively in clients’ homes so your pet can stay comfortable in their own familiar environment. I follow specific routines closely, whether that is feeding schedules, medication, walk times, or bedtime rituals, to reduce stress levels for pets and keep things consistent for them! I give plenty of love, attention, and play, while also respecting your home and any house rules you’ve shared. Clean-up, litter boxes, crate training, or plant watering I will do. I send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away.

About: I’ve always been surrounded by animals, at one point having three dogs and five cats. I am active for the animals who need it and patient for the ones who are more relaxed, and would love to take care of your pet! Currently, I am not working and have a ton of time on my hands to pet sit. I am free most mornings, afternoons, and nights. Have I two cats at home, so I can care for another cat separated into my room, or possibly keep a super friendly dog that does well with cats. I am always available to care of any type of pet in the comfort of someone else’s house.

About: Hi, I'm Ashley! I have several years of petsitting experience, though I'm new to the Rover app. A love of animals was engrained in me early on between growing up with our many dogs, and playing on my best friend's family farm. I began dog-walking in 8th grade around the Guilford green, and started petsitting from there through word of mouth! I work in Guilford and have a flexible schedule, so making sure your furry family members get lots of attention is easy! I have a very flexible schedule, I work Monday - Friday with fairly open mornings and the ability to work from home for the majority of the day. I offer overnights in a client’s home as well as drop in visits and provide company, walks, feeding, potty breaks, medicine, or just check-ins! I do not offer boarding in my home.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life including a senior dog, reactive dog, and a certified therapy dog I helped train. I’m extremely well adjusted to dog body language and everyone’s pets warm up to me quick. I also volunteered at a rescue for a few months in 2021. I’m responsible and reliable and will care for you’re pet as if they are my own. I’m in college with classes in the morning and some during the night, but I have plenty of free time, day and nights that I’d love to spend with your pups. I can be extremely flexible. Pets are to be respected in their own space and I will take every precaution to ensure they don’t get out or into anything. Your pets safety is my first priority. I also will love any pup that comes my way.

Mandy L.
“Mandy takes great care of my little dog, Blaze, whenever I leave town for work, which is 1 to 2 times a month. She is very nurturing and compassionate, making sure she gets lots of love while I'm away. Blaze is a rescue and sometimes unsure of people, but she has complete trust in Mandy. I highly recommend her!”

Emma D.
“Emma has been a dog lover her whole life. Since she was a child there was always a dog in the house and you could always find her cuddling up with them or playing with them. She has a big heart when it comes to animals. She is patient, kind, and has an energy that she gives off in which dogs are drawn too. She worked at a doggy day care for years and had nothing but positive reviews from clients. She enjoys the outdoors and taking her own dog for long walks. You can trust Emma to take the best care of your furry friend!”

Braedi S.
“Braedi is a smart, responsible animal lover who we've entrusted with our 130 pound English Mastiff on several occasions when we've gone on vacation. I don't think the dog missed us much thanks to the great care and attention Braedi gave our four-legged family member. I know that Braedi has owned several pets herself, including cats and multiple dogs, and she has the perfect personality traits for pet care: patient and caring. I enthusiastically recommend Braedi for anyone's dog sitting needs.”

Hannah A.
“Hannah has house sat for me many times in order to care for my pitbull while away on week-long trips. She exceeded my expectations; taking my Lucy on long walks after I warned her she’s real strong and pulls on the leash. She even very easily socialized her with other people and dogs which is no easy task. I was very pleasantly surprised to hear of how she cared for her and how easily and quickly Lucy took to her. We even made her a custom Lucy sweatshirt! She is for sure my go-to anytime I need a hand with my dog.”

Kelsey L.
“Kelsey is amazing with my dogs. She follows my instructions and gives them so much love. She’s especially great with my youngest dog who is a bit anxious. Kelsey is very patient with her and makes sure she gets all her energy out. And she will play endless fetch with our eldest pup. Anyone can trust her to watch or walk their dogs because she is always on time and makes sure your pup is comfortable and happy. We love her so much!”

Madeline A.
“Madeline has an amazing love of animals and a big heart. She takes wonderful care of pets and goes the extra mile to give them extra attention and love. She also is incredibly responsible and conscientious and treats others' animals as though they're her own. She is reliable and intelligent and trustworthy. And she is an extremely hard worker. Don't even give it a second thought...give Madeline the opportunity to help you and you won't regret it! You can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in the best possible hands.”

Ashley S.
“Ashley was amazing with our hound mix, Winslow. She took Winslow on walks every day in the very cold, rainy weather, threw the ball for him (over and over again) in our yard, and took many, many photos of him. Ashley sent me those photos and responded to all of my (too many) inquiries about Winslow's tummy, etc., etc. I would totally--and highly--recommend Ashley to anyone who has a pet and is going away (or needs someone to walk their pooch).”
