He has spacious living accommodations. What stood out is his willingness to work with Arya being that she is a Bully. There are a many false conceptions about this breed. With his family background working with bully’s and pitbull, and his love for animals in general, I had no concerns that Arya was in good care. During her overnight visit, he provided checks up and sent pictures for reassurance. He also introduced Arya to family and friends ( which I love ) being that she is not around other dogs or people, helping her socialize. Picking Arya up was easy. All items returned and she was happy ! I previously boarded her , and when picking her up she was distant, had scratches and limped !!! All in all, 5 stars for Devon. I recommend and will use him again. 🐾💕”

About: Dog and cat owner. As pet parents it is our responsibility that our pets live a happy and healthy life. I give that to every animal that comes into my life! Currently working a hybrid schedule in a full-time role, so I’m home pretty often throughout the week! On the days I do go into the office, my mom stops by to take my dog for a walk and can give any dogs staying with me a midday break too. I have a super friendly 3-year-old Golden Retriever who loves other dogs and is always happy to have a friend around! When I’m working from home, I’m here throughout the day and have plenty of time between meetings and projects for walks, playtime, attention, and lots of company. When boarding, I’m home outside of my office hours, and your dog will get lots of playtime, walks, attention, and plenty of time to just hang out and feel at home! My pets are my priority. I always make sure things are put away and out of grasp for my dog. Food is never left out, especially foods that may be harmful to pets. I limit those off of my shopping list as much as possible. When we have other dogs over, they are offered fresh water, treats if allowed and all the toys they could desire. If a dog is not allowed certain toys due to being a shredder or if the toy poses a choking hazard, those toys go in the closet. I’m very careful and attentive, while having fun with all dogs!
About: I've pet-sat for dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, and guinea pigs since 2001. My sittings have ranged from a few hours to two weeks. I've sat for family, friends, and many parents here on Rover. We play fetch a lot and lots of walks in our big yard. I also walk a few miles a day and love the company! We also have a dog run. I take one dog at a time, so they get our total attention. We do not have any pets. PLEASE check my calendar for availability first. I do request a meet and greet, if you are a new client to make sure it is a good fit for us all. I do work Tue-Fri, so they MUST be ok home alone. Please make sure your dog's information is filled out prior to booking. We hope to hear from you soon! Thank you! I am a teacher. So I follow the teacher schedule (hrs, off time). The dog must be able to be left alone during the typical school hours. Pets are inside with me. “This was my first time using Rover.com. I had picked up my German shepherd, Evie, from a shelter in North Carolina last November. Based on her recorded condition when brought in as a stray 5 weeks before she had been through a rough period. She has fully recovered now and is in good health. My wife and I wanted to find someone to board her with where she would be happy when we're away. We identified a few possibilities at the Rover website and following a positive meet and greet with Nadjeska last week, had Evie spend the day with her yesterday. It went very well. Nadjeska sent us several texts with photos during the day updating us on Evie's stay. We were looking for a home where Evie could spend time with and play with other dogs and Evie made a new friend, Sparkles, Najeska's little dog. Nadjeska has a fenced yard which provides a safe place for them to run around in the fresh air. Evie seemed to enjoy the day, Nadjeska obviously loves dogs, and we will be repeat clients in the near future.”

I currently have a young husky named Mako, so I have daily experience with exercise, training, grooming, and keeping dogs on a consistent routine. Mako and I are home from college, so we’ve been spending lots of time outside! We regularly go hiking and swimming, and at home he has access to several acres of land where he can safely explore on a supervised 100-foot lead, well away from the road. I do most of Mako's grooming myself, including bathing and brushing to prevent matting, and I'm happy to do the same for dogs in my care if requested. I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs and can safely separate dogs if needed without making them feel left out. Mako is very friendly and loves meeting new dogs, but I pay close attention to make sure he’s not overwhelming anyone with his puppy energy. I keep a consistent schedule and will treat your dog like one of my own. There's also a vet right around the corner in case of an emergency, giving you extra peace of mind while your pet is in my care. Im back home from college right now and can give 24/7 care. I am a musician but I don't have the sleep schedule of one! Mako and I wake up at 9am and sleep by 12 at the latest. Feeding times are consistent and we spend more of the day outdoors than in. I love to write and practice outside so I will hangout on the porch or in the yard even if I'm home for the day. Mako lets me know if he needs a AC break, but he also has his favorite shady trees and kitty pool to hangout at. At my mom's farm house we have many acres of yard off of a low traffic street. It is not fenced in so I have a 100ft lead tied in the center that I clip Mako to. My mom left a patch of the yard un-mowed so the wildflowers would grow, and Mako loves to explore in the tall grass. I tick check him regularly but haven't found anything yet. I always keep him in my line of sight when I let him out on the lead. The house has lots of space and it's easy to seperate dogs if needed. I also have a large crate that Mako used to use. I uphold some basic training manners such as no table scraps, calmly walking out the front door next to or behind me, no chewing everything, etc. Im happy to take requests if there's training manners you don't want your dog to get rusty on while away. Im not certified but I know how to perform CPR and first aid on dogs. There is a vet clinic right around the corner and I can get them there within minutes incase of emergency.

About: I am a veterinary nurse as well as a certified dog trainer. I love animals of all shapes and sizes and will treat your pup as one of my own! I work from home. I do virtual dog training sessions and only work one day out of the house, so very easy for me to take care of your pup in between sessions. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of toys as well as going for daily walks in our very safe neighborhood. I also have two very friendly medium size pups who love to play.

About: I've been a dog owner for the last 20 years. All my dogs have been rescues, several have been shy dogs that needed extra TLC. I have a special talent connecting with shy dogs and helping them come out of their shell. I also love working with extroverted dogs who love to play and interact. I have a full-time mostly WFH job. I love to walk my dog Luna, and training her to walk with me was no easy feat but she's amazing now. Building relationships with animals has always been a passion for me growing up. I keep a consistent schedule and will treat your dog like one of my own. There's also a vet right around the corner in case of an emergency, giving you extra peace of mind while your pet is in my care. Im back home from college right now and can give 24/7 care. I am a musician but I don't have the sleep schedule of one! Mako and I wake up at 9am and sleep by 12 at the latest. Feeding times are consistent and we spend more of the day outdoors than in. I love to write and practice outside so I will hangout on the porch or in the yard even if I'm home for the day. Mako lets me know if he needs a AC break, but he also has his favorite shady trees and kitty pool to hangout at. At my mom's farm house we have many acres of yard off of a low traffic street. It is not fenced in so I have a 100ft lead tied in the center that I clip Mako to. My mom left a patch of the yard un-mowed so the wildflowers would grow, and Mako loves to explore in the tall grass. I tick check him regularly but haven't found anything yet. I always keep him in my line of sight when I let him out on the lead. The house has lots of space and it's easy to seperate dogs if needed. I also have a large crate that Mako used to use. I uphold some basic training manners such as no table scraps, calmly walking out the front door next to or behind me, no chewing everything, etc. Im happy to take requests if there's training manners you don't want your dog to get rusty on while away. Im not certified but I know how to perform CPR and first aid on dogs. There is a vet clinic right around the corner and I can get them there within minutes incase of emergency.
About: I have a lot of love to give to all fur babies. I have had dogs my entire life. No matter how young or old, I have the time and patience and special love catered to fit your babies needs. The more notice I receive, the better care I can give, HOWEVER, no matter the notice, all my love is always given as often as agreed upon. I can watch your dogs in your home only as we are currently in a smaller home with animals of our own that need their space. I will spend as little or as much time with your babies as requested.

Also being mindful of their interactions with other dogs or humans if they have any issues with them.
About: I've got a Labrador retriever that wants to be everybody's friend and kids that love pets. I typically work-from-home throughout the week. I enjoy being active, so doggie time outside (walking in our neighborhood, hiking our local trails, or playing fetch outside) is right up my alley! Our cat passed away in 2024, but I'm keeping him on my profile so he will live on! :) I typically work from home and start a pet care routine for our pets in the morning and throughout the day. We're in a friendly neighborhood with many dog owners and a safe place for walking dogs. There are also some trails within driving distance. Our dog gets play time outside either by playing fetch or with a walk, and of course lots of love from the kids. I have a long lead that allows dogs to play in the front/back yard safely. Any dog's time outside is supervised to make sure they are not eating anything they shouldn't and getting the play time they need. A crate in the home is available.
About: I’ve always had a cat & now I care for my small dog! I trained my own animals through the puppy stages & taken care of animals through all stages of life Im working part time & will be able to care for animals with 2 days notice. I prefer to keep animals in their home, rather than board in mine. Although willing to discuss options! I am happy to care for your animal at your home & provide regular check ins, potty breaks, feeding, & medication (if needed). It’s important to keep a routine with animals, & will do everything I can to maintain balance.

We reviewed the basics of her care and he made sure to get a full understanding of what is needed to make Aryas stay as comfortable as possible) drop off was nice. He has spacious living accommodations. What stood out is his willingness to work with Arya being that she is a Bully. There are a many false conceptions about this breed. With his family background working with bully’s and pitbull, and his love for animals in general, I had no concerns that Arya was in good care. During her overnight visit, he provided checks up and sent pictures for reassurance. He also introduced Arya to family and friends ( which I love ) being that she is not around other dogs or people, helping her socialize. Picking Arya up was easy. All items returned and she was happy ! I previously boarded her , and when picking her up she was distant, had scratches and limped !!! All in all, 5 stars for Devon.
