I am very active myself and am happy to walk or run with your dogs as I know some breeds especially need daily activity. I work remotely, making me very available to tend to all of your pet’s daily needs and activities! My workday is quite flexible, allowing for time for runs, walks, potty breaks, or playing outside or inside. I am most comfortable caring for your pets within your home. I have a dog of my own but he will be able to stay home with family, allowing me to focus entirely on your pets!

“Jessie came to our house prior to leaving her with Roscoe. She was thorough meaning she asked questions. She had a notebook and took notes. I felt she was a very warm and genuine person. Roscoe took to her right away. When Jessie came to the house for the stay, Roscoe went right up to her in greeting. We left her with information about Roscoe as well as other important information and reviewed with Jessie. We left and within a couple of hours received pictures of Roscoe. We were gone for two days but received a few pictures and updates. What I really appreciated was that she was glad that we texted her to let her know that we made it home. We were running late and told her it was okay to leave but she wanted to make sure we got home. Last couple of things, our house was immaculate. We have house sitters before, but this was the first time I could say that. Also, Roscoe seemed very happy and didn't seem out of sorts. We will definitely use Jessie again.”

About: I bred Golden Retrievers for several years and sold the puppies through Yahoo Pets. I have had 4 dogs. The first 3 passed of old age and I still have the fourth. She is 17 years old! My yard is partially fenced giving your dog plenty of space to walk and run around!

I am currently on summer break from university so I decided to spend this free time with animals since I adore them. I will sadly only be doing this for the month of July and the first week of August. I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, whether being my brothers dogs or dog/cat sitting for friends. About: I have always had the responsibility of caring for my own animals, but I love getting to help other people care for their pets. I love meeting new animals and have lots of experience in this area. I have been walking dogs around my neighborhood since I was about 10 years old. I loved this experience which is why I have decided to dedicate myself to this line of work so I can always be available to help an animal in need. Currently I work an evening shift at a restaurant 4 nights a week so I have the day open before 5 pm Friday through Monday and Tuesday Wednesday Thursday I am completely available. My schedule also will be opening up more soon. I have a very large area for dogs to run around and two very friendly dogs of my own. I always start by making sure the space is free of any hazards, like toxic plants or loose wires and that they have a cozy spot just for them. Building trust is key, so I take things slow, using positive reinforcement like treats and praise to create a bond. Whether it's playtime or just chilling, I'm all about keeping their routine consistent to minimize stress.

About: I grew up with all sorts of animals. I’ve been pet/house sitting since I was 18 (31 now). I provide a loving and caring environment for your fur babies! Lots of love and treats. Able to give medication to your babies or stay with strict diets. About: I am now 73 and have had dogs all my life...even birds, cats, fish, turtles & more. I bred & raised several of the small breeds I had. Pomeranians I bred for the most part. Last 20 years I have fallen in love with toy poodles. I learned how to train dogs about 20 years ago. I have been doing it ever since. My two poodles I taught to do tricks. I have taken care of many owners pets in the past but that was before I ever heard of Rover. I am home a lot, and only gone on doctor appointment days. I am available most weekends and most holidays. I only leave for the big ones like Christmas and Thanksgiving. As a rule, I am pretty flexible. I live in a house with a fenced deck and fenced yard. There is stairs to my garden. Ask more, if this concerns you. My 2 friendly toy poodles get plenty of exercise running up and down the stairs to the deck and among my beautiful garden. There are several very close areas to walk dogs within 5 minutes driving of my house. Also, we have a dog park 10 min away. Here's a PLUS....I literally live 30 min from the northern gate entrance to Yosemite National Park, (our 3rd National Park). So, if you plan a trip to hit the snow, hike to its many waterfalls, bike or take a nice relaxing float down the lazy class 2 Merced River in Yosemite......contact ME. You can't take dogs on these ventures...

About: I have owned dogs, horses, chickens and pigs my entire life. Prior to having my twins, I worked at a vet office for three years as a receptionist and vet assistant. While working at the vet office, I pet sat for clients dogs and cats when they went out of town. I also worked at a pet boarding facility before the vet, but at both places I cared for all the animals as if they were my own. I am currently working part-time night shift, I am a mom to my twin daughters that are three years old and my son who is seven months old. My husband is a mobile mechanic and makes his own schedule so if there is a prior commitment that I have my husband can be around for the short time that I am out.
