She is obviously an old hand at caring for dogs and I felt very comfortable leaving my Beagle/Jack Russel mix with her for eight nights while I was out of the country on business. We did a meet and greet a few days before my trip and I instantly saw that it was going to work. Her location in central Phoenix near the Phoenix Country Club area is probably on the way to or from the airport for many. Very convenient... The one thing that impressed me the most when I dropped my little guy off at the start was how Sylvia reviewed my printed instruction sheet on feeding and meds very carefully. She asked questions and confirmed details. She also sent a nicely worded report after the first night that helped me relax about leaving him and then another report on how he was doing near the end of the trip. It was just enough to keep me informed and happy that he was doing ok. When I picked up Harvey at the end of his eight night stay, he was glad to see me, but not too glad. He seemed happy and content. And... that is the most you can ask of a sitter like Sylvia... to take care of your little loved one like he was her own... Sylvia certainly did with flying colors! About: I’ve raised puppies, kittens, baby birds, chickens and various other animals, I’ve also had experience working on a dog farm and groomed various types of breeds. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. I have a fenced large yard with two separate deck areas, I am open to bringing the pets over and housing them or going to a clients house and pet sitting, walking or even bathing if needed in a comfortable and familiar place for the pet.

Allowed the dogs on her couch and dog bed. She took them for routine walks around her large property. She was kind and trustworthy. We used her for one night of dog sitting while we hiked half dome. There are limited to no other options in the area and dogs aren’t allowed on any Yosemite hikes. We were lucky to get her!”

“Angie was very nice she had 3 dogs 2 old mini poodles and a brown Lab older all pretty friendly.She lives in a small town Grover land on the outskirts on a tiny very bumpy dirt road narrow kinda hard to drive even in our truck. My dog did fine he’s 5 years old mini Aussie who really isn’t dog friendly but did well . Angie is very sweet but maybe a little older 76 and doesn’t move that fast,Maybe not large active dog. Small older probably would be fine.”
About: I have had many years of housesitting experience with came with caring for pets. I have also worked at a pet store and handled bathing dogs. I am free weekdays and weekends and am open to staying at a home for multiple days. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I will be attending class 9:40 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. I have a friendly dog, a kitten and two outdoor cats as well as a fenced yard with tons of dog toys, treats and a small kennel. I make sure any hazardous things such as cleaning products and other harmful substances are out of the pet’s way and give frequent potty breaks. There were a lot of delays the day I was supposed to be heading home and it wasn’t clear that I would make it home the day I was supposed to. Charlene offered to do whatever she could to check in on my cat and make sure she was looked after still if I didn’t end up making it home. About: My own dog, Zeus, who was a German Shepard, had developed hip dysplasia in his elder years. He passed in 2024 but in his last years of life I learned to properly administer his two medications, and was able to trick him into taking them when he was stubborn, which was all of the time. I cleaned up after him while my parents were away and sat with him when he was anxious, which again, was all of the time. I took him on walks when he was younger and was able to handle his strength. I adore dogs and understand the stress of leaving a special needs dog by themselves. If you need a calm energy for your senior dog, or playfulness for your puppy, I'm your guy. At the moment I am still looking for a full or part time job, so my days and nights are completely open for those who need a sitter. I will care for your dog by first making sure they have their nessecities, food, water, medication, and a bathroom break. If we go on a walk I will make sure their harness and leash are secure, and am willing to walk however long your dog wishes to walk. When we come back to your home I will make sure he is uninjured, no issues with the feet or body if we go to a dog park. I am willing to do anything and everything to ensure the safety and health of a dog.

I recently transferred with my job from the East Coast to Utah, and now reside in Northern California and currently frequent the Humane Society to visit with the cats and dogs waiting for homes. Pet Sitting - I am able to walk them/feed in the mornings and after 5 p.m. Monday-Wednesday and Thursday - Sundays more frequently. I do prefer overnight pet sitting. I am reliable, responsible and have a "knack" with most pets. I do need to know about any behavioral issues (likes to chew on things that aren't their toys for example). Do they do well with new people? I prefer not to sit pit bull terriers, but mixed breeds I don't have a problem with. I’m available for part-time work and am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am open to working Monday-Sun as long as it’s planned at least a week in advance. I have a fenced large yard with two separate deck areas, I am open to bringing the pets over and housing them or going to a clients house and pet sitting, walking or even bathing if needed in a comfortable and familiar place for the pet.
About: Although I don’t have pets of my own, over the past several years I’ve had the chance to care for a wide variety of dogs of all ages and sizes. I live down the street from some dog friendly hiking trails and my backyard is quite large so the energetic pups are always happy. About: I've got 23 years of veterinary technician experience as well as petsitting experience. I also worked for an organization that rescues Cocker Spaniels for 3 years. I was the manager and I took care of 25 dogs at a time as well as 2 horses, 2 goats, 2 pigs, 4 roosters, and a feral cat colony. I fed all the animals, cleaned their living quarters, picked up the yards, bathed as well as shave them if needed, nail trims, sanitary clips, administered medications of all types, did basic training with them, went to vet appointments if needed, laundry, and walked them. Being in the veterinary field has been a blessing for many clients whom have hired me to care for their furry babies because I am more attune at things many people may not notice. Clients are very grateful for that knowledge. I also water plants and clean houses and bring in mail for overnight stays. I am currently a stay at home mom with lots of time to spare. I've always juggled pet care and my family with no issues. I follow the instructions the client gives me no matter what. If they want the dog to wear a harness while.out for walks, then that's what I will do. If they don't want the dog left unattended outside even though they have a fenced in yard, then I'll stay out with them for as long as needed. I always do a parameter check to make sure there are no holes in the ground for the dog to have access to escape.

Im currently a college student that often travels back and forth from school to my hometown I’ll be able to take care of your pets during weekends and Fridays after 12 pm. Allowed the dogs on her couch and dog bed. She took them for routine walks around her large property. She was kind and trustworthy. We used her for one night of dog sitting while we hiked half dome. There are limited to no other options in the area and dogs aren’t allowed on any Yosemite hikes. We were lucky to get her!”
