About: I am a recent graduate from The University of Virginia who grew up in an animal-loving home. I am an attentive pet sitter and dog walker with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and in-home care, focusing on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining their normal routines. About: For the last three years, I have taken care of several dogs in my neighborhood. Mostly walking them, at times several walks a day, and dogsitting as well. I am able to account for the needs of dogs and am able to safely walk them. I am also a proud owner of two beautiful cats, so I am familiar with the habits of cats and how to tend to their individual needs! All my neighbors view me as a trustworthy companion and caregiver for their furry friends It is currently my summertime before school so until mid-August I am mostly free every day. My availability will be dependent on variable day-to-day summer errands, but I will be sure to prioritize my furry clients! I will keep a leash on your pet at all times during the walk and be sure to provide them with anything, such as food, treats, or water after the walk.

About: I am very available in the summertime (I am a teacher), and I am available on day on Saturdays and Sundays. During the week, I am able to travel to your pet in the morning and evening (before and after work). On weekends and on school breaks I am very flexible. I currently am a teacher, so I am available morning and evening on weekdays, and I am available all day on weekends. I am also available all the time in the summer. I am very willing to come take care of your pets at your house. I am very welcoming to all behaviors and I will follow all expectations perfectly, as well as take care of your animal with as much love as you would!

About: I have cared for animals for all my life, I grew up with both a dog and cat, and developed a genuine love for both. For the past three years I lived in south lake tahoe where I regularly dog sat for my friends and took them trail running, biking, and hiking. I love being outdoors, and a furry friend besides me makes the experience 10x better. In the past year I have worked at farms specifically with animal care and husbandry; including feeding and herding sheep and alpacas, working alongside herding dogs. I administered medications to large farm animals for infections and other needs. Whether your pet loves long outdoor adventures, leisurely strolls in the neighborhood or simply companionship and cuddles, I'm happy to meet and care for them! I’m currently visiting family in Richmond, Virginia, after spending the past year bikepacking and traveling throughout Southeast Asia. As I apply for forestry positions back in California, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting, walks, and outdoor adventures. I don’t currently have a space of my own to host pets, but I’m very comfortable caring for animals in their own homes. About: I’ve grown up around dogs for most of my life and already occasionally pet sit for friends and family. I used to work as a caretaker at a doggy daycare, and decided to continue pet care alongside my new job as it became such a fulfilling part of my life. I'm experienced with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and I'm experienced with a variety of other animals such as cats, fish, lizards, turtles, birds, and hermit crabs. My current work schedule follows the standard Mon-Fri 7-3:30, with most of my weekends and evenings open. Because of this, I'd be most suited for pets that are used to this schedule already. Otherwise, I try my best to stick to their current schedule for things like feeding and walks. I always feel comfortable meeting the parent(s) and pet before the booking. I can take care of all basic tasks and am very adaptable, patient, and reliable. I do my best to learn about each pet's little mannerisms and quirks so I can accommodate them the best I can while keeping them and your home safe. I want to make sure both you and your pet end up happy! I always ask that I'm given the pet's vet and an emergency contact as well, just in case.

About: I have many years of personal experience caring for cats, including senior cats and cats with chronic health conditions such as kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. My experience includes following detailed feeding and care routines, administering oral and topical medications, monitoring appetite and water intake, maintaining clean litter areas, and watching for changes in weight, energy, behavior and bathroom habits. I have also helped one of my own cats recover from a wound that required consistent cleaning, prescribed topical treatment and close monitoring. That experience reinforced the importance of patience, careful attention and following care instructions consistently, even when a cat is less than thrilled about the process! Caring for senior and special-needs cats has taught me to recognize subtle behavioral changes and respect each cat’s individual comfort level. Some cats welcome immediate affection, while others need time and space to build trust. I never force interaction, and I follow each owner’s instructions carefully while adapting my approach to the pet’s personality. My schedule is currently flexible, allowing me to accommodate morning, afternoon and evening visits based on availability. I keep my service area intentionally small so I can arrive reliably, spend the full scheduled time with each pet and avoid overbooking. Before a first booking, I prefer to meet the pet and review feeding instructions, medication routines, emergency contacts, veterinarian information, entry procedures and any household safety concerns. I follow written care instructions carefully, I will never force interaction with a nervous pet. I'll confirm that doors and entry points are secured, and provide photos and detailed updates after each visit.
