“Abigail was absolutely incredible watching our dog, Ranger, for the second time. That alone says a lot—we trusted her again, and she exceeded expectations once more. Her communication is top-notch, always keeping us updated with plenty of pictures and detailed check-ins so we never had to wonder how things were going. She truly goes above and beyond. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and Ranger was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. It gives us real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. If you’re looking for someone reliable, attentive, and who treats your pet like their own, I highly recommend Abigail. We’ll definitely continue using her in the future.”

“Nick and Melissa took such good care of our 2 dogs Cash and Xena. We will definitely use them again in the future for any vacations. They even brought them a holiday treat which was so nice of them while we were gone for Christmas with family. They eased my mind and I was able to enjoy being away. I can’t recommend them enough!”

About: Hi! I am Shawna. I’m a five star Rover sitter with 32 verified reviews, now offering drop in visits and dog walking. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. I grew up with cats and dogs, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. While I no longer provide boarding or doggy daycare in my home, I’d love to help make your day a little easier by caring for your pet in the place they’re most comfortable-their own home. Whether your dog needs a walk, a potty break, fresh food, and water, or just someone to throw a ball and give them some attention, I’m happy to help. For cats, I’m just as happy to refresh litter boxes, feed them, play with them, or simply sit with them if they’re the quiet type who enjoys company. As a stay-at-home mom, reliability and kindness are important to me. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and to feel confident knowing they were well cared for while you were away. About: Hello, my name is Terrell. I am an active duty service member with a wife and four kids. I have owned dogs my entire under bringing and I have also “doggy sat” co-workers pets here and there, which is what brought me to Rover. I’m hoping I can use my off days and spare time to assist others with their pets when needed. I know life can always be unexpected and throw curveballs and I’m here to hopefully help you out. I look forward to hearing from you guys and I can’t wait to meet all the new dogs here in the Clay County area! Thanks for reading my profile. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Green Cove Springs
You never know what’s going to happen when you have someone new take care of your pets, but Morgan exceeded every expectation! She kept us informed every day with photos of our pets receiving so much love and attention. We received photos of our dog running and enjoying her love which was wonderful! The cats, too, were very receptive to her attentions. Our biggest concern was for our elderly cat to get his medication twice a day. Morgan did that and our cat was healthy and happy when we returned. Morgan also endured a power outage and automatic gate malfunction and handled all obstacles with apparent ease. Morgan will be at the top of our list of pet sitters in the future! 10 stars for Morgan!

Morgan did a phenomenal job watching our fur babies! There was plenty of communication and pictures while we were away; which was reassuring that the pups were being loved on and taken care of. Morgan has a genuine love of dogs and it shows!! We look forward to Morgan watching our pups again soon!! Thank you so much, Morgan ❤️🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
