About: I’ve been a dog mom for over 20 years and lost my sweet rescued shepherd collie mix, Roxie, 12 years ago. Since then I’ve found comfort in caring for and loving other people’s dogs. Dogs are the best! I currently work part time teaching a few exercise classes a week, so I have lots of time and attention to devote to your pets. I’m available most days of the week, nights and days. I have a small home where your dog will feel cozy and comfortable, with 126 acres of woodland, a dog park, and rail trail to walk and play on.

About: I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages and personalities. I've also volunteered with local animal rescue organizations, helping foster pets, support adoptions, and assist with trap-neuter-return efforts for stray cats. Animals have always been a huge part of my life—including my rescued pet possum, Rocky, who has become best friends with my cat! I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to provide loving, dependable care while you're away. I took voluntary retirement in December 2025, so I am available to spend time with your furry friends 7 a.m. to 9.m. or overnight all days of the week. I treat all animals as if they were my own, as well as your home, too. I am detailed, affectionate, reliable - and very tidy and clean!

About: I have had pets all my life and currently have 3 cats. I’ve volunteered at a dog park during high school, as well as fostering dogs. I care for my own pets by scooping their litter boxes, trimming their claws, and feeding them morning, mid-day, and night. Giving them overall care and attention. I treat all animals I come across with an abominable amount of love and respect, I will always try my best to make sure any animal is taken care of and appreciated.

About: I’ve dog sat a lot for family, friends, and even friends of my family. I’ve watched all different sizes and breeds from Husky’s and Pit mixes to Teacup Chihuahuas. I’ve mainly just done stop by feedings and overnight sitting. Since it’s summer I’m free for the most part since I don’t have college classes but I do have quite a bit of concerts and beach trips but I keep my availability updated very frequently. I currently have a part time job in Greensboro Tuesday-Saturday 4am-9am so I’d be happy to come right after I get off work I can stop by your home when available to feed, let potty, or even get a little energy out. At my house my dog is very lazy so we usually just hangout in my bed all day but when she decides she wants to play I take her outside with her ball or throw it down the hallway.

I was raised around dogs, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Being around dogs from a young age has taught me how to be patient with different personalities, recognize when a pet may be uncomfortable or need extra attention, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m open to providing a variety of pet care services, including drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting. While I’m unable to board pets in my own home because I have my own pet, I’m more than happy to care for pets in their home where they’re most comfortable. When caring for your pet in your home, I’ll respect your space, follow your house rules and your pet’s routine, and make sure your home is left just as I found it. I’ll give your pet plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and companionship while making sure their food, water, medications, potty breaks, and other needs are handled according to your instructions. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident while you’re away.

“Chevaughn did an amazing job! One of my dogs (Toffee) is 'very' skittish & does not warm up to new people well (it often takes weeks - sometimes months - for people just to be able to pet her). However, when we did the first meet & greet, Toffee was curious & got close enough to sniff him, which I thought was a great sign. But then... Chevaughn was actually able to pet her before leaving. She was wary, but let him. It kinda shocked me a bit. We had met with 2 other potential sitters & Toffee wouldn't get near them. With one of them, she wouldn't even come inside the house from the yard, not even for a treat, so long as the lady was there. Chevaughn has great energy, though. He was calm & assertive, moved gently around Carlee & Toffee, and they both became fast friends with him. While we were away, he even sent video of her licking his hand. That was a huge deal... Chevaughn was reliable, on time, consistent & most importantly, he is kind. Next time we need a sitter, he's our guy and I highly recommend him for taking care of your pups..”
