About: I've had Dogs and Cats ever since I can remember and animals need Consistancy, but most importantly they need Love and Patience... If given the chance to work and walk you're animals I would be more than willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you have a very happy dog........ Right now I am not working because i take care of my 82 year old mother which gives me some spare time to walk and care for other animals... Every single day when I get up or when they wake me up,lol, I take my german shepard, Nyla out for a walk and get her food and fresh water ready and in my free time she loves walks down the park, or having a catch in the backyard with her favorite ball. As for my other furry little friends, they get as much love as I could possibly give them every single day, besides cleaning their liter boxes, and feeding certain ones their wet food, and other ones just eat dry food, because their all so finicky, lol but also every single one of them are such love bugs and just want all the attention and they get it. "Temptations" treats is a very big part of their day, I shake the bag and all 13 come running and i care for many in my community. We have colonies of ferrals where i live and it's only right that i try to feed as many as i possibly can. With these rising temperatures, i put cold water with ice cubes outside atleast twice a day and make sure their bowls of food are fat and full for all my guys.......

About: I grew up with my German Shepherd, Ace, since the start of high school. I helped train him, keep him active, and make adjustments for his special personality, like rationing time with balls because he loved them more than food. After Ace sadly passed away my mom got another German Shepherd, Ellie. I am currently helping watch and train her. She is the opposite of Ace in that she is not able to focus on anything sometimes even forgetting she was in the middle of trying to go to the bathroom. Working with both Ace and Ellie helps me appreciate how each dog has their own quirks that you need to adjust to and that make them the awesome dog that they are. My other jobs are babysitting and tutoring which allows me a lot of flexibility because both of them are also done by customers scheduling appointments. This means as long as I don’t already have an appointment I am available. I work with the parents to make sure I understand any special circumstances relating to their pet. I then use that information to ensure I can keep their pet safe and as happy as possible.

“Joelle was great! She took my last minute request when my regular pet sitter canceled on us the day of. Not only was she flexible and accommodating, but our pup also absolutely loved her and seemed so comfortable. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life, as I grew up in a pet-loving household where we cared for everything from hamsters and turtles to multiple dogs, guinea pigs, ferrets, and even fish. I’ve also volunteered both formally and informally with local SPCA chapters and animal shelters from a young age, helping to walk, feed, and care for dogs of a variety of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have hands on experience with dogs who need extra attention and medical care. I've raised two dogs from puppyhood—my current dog, Sophia, and a pit bull my family had previously—and have done everything from potty training to leash work and daily routines. Sophia is diabetic and blind, so I’m no stranger to giving insulin shots, monitoring glucose levels, and understanding how to be patient and calm with pets who have special needs or anxiety. Whether it's caring for seniors, puppies, or pets with health conditions, I always aim to treat them like family because that’s exactly what they are. I am currently on break from school at the University of Delaware, so my schedule is pretty flexible. Preferably, I am available after 10:00 AM and before 8:00 PM. When I care for pets through walks or drop-in visits, I approach each home and animal with respect, patience, and awareness. I know every pet has their own personality, boundaries, and needs, so I'll never assume anything upon first meeting. I take time to observe their behavior, let them come to me at their own pace, and make sure we’re both comfortable before jumping getting close and personal. This also helps me gauge what kind of interaction they’re ready for and to prioritize safety—for your pet and for myself—by staying alert to their body language, keeping a calm energy, and never rushing trust. I will follow any specific instructions you give closely, especially if your pet has particular sensitivities or routines. I also take practical steps on walks, like avoiding overly stimulating routes or unknown dogs, and I’m always careful with things like leashing, doors, or feeding to avoid stress or accidents.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10. I’m experienced with all size dogs -Maltese to Lab to Pitbull. Would love to walk and play with your dogs! I work full time but am free in the evenings and my weekends are flexible. I can also make mid-day visits on my work from home days (Wed, Thurs, and Fri). I don’t currently board pets in my home because I live in an apartment and my complex requires pet rent and monthly fees to board dogs.

“Jenna is the absolute best! Super super flexible and very trustworthy”

“Patti is an absolute godsend for us. She goes above and beyond to make our cat Arthur feel loved and cared for while we’re away which gives us a level of peace of mind I can’t even explain. I genuinely trust Patti so much with our fur baby and plan to use her again and again!”

“Jen is so good to our pups! She treats them the way we would! We love how she sends pictures, videos, and text updates when she is watching them. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing pet services!”

About: What sets me apart from other cat sitters is my intuitive, respectful approach to feline care. I don’t just "check in"—I really tune in to each cat’s individual personality, energy, and comfort level. Whether your cat is shy and reserved or playful and talkative, I adjust my approach to meet them where they are and build trust naturally. I’m especially attentive to the small signs cats give—those subtle tail flicks, ear twitches, or quiet meows that can say so much. I’m patient, calm, and never pushy, which helps even the most cautious kitties feel safe and seen. I’m also experienced with a variety of cat care needs—from maintaining a spotless litter box to giving medications, brushing long coats, and helping older cats with gentle mobility support. I stay in close communication with you, sending updates that show your cat is not just cared for, but genuinely happy and comfortable. Cats aren’t just pets to me—they’re complex, beautiful little souls, and I feel honored every time I’m trusted to care for one. 🐾💛 I am currently teaching full time. I am available in the mornings as well as late afternoon and evenings. During weekends I have more open availability. I finish teaching 6/11 so I will have more time during the day. When it comes to caring for cats—whether in my home or a client’s—I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comforting environment that respects their unique personalities and routines. I know cats can be independent, sensitive, and sometimes a little mysterious, so I take the time to let them come to me at their own pace. In their own home, I stick closely to their usual feeding schedule, litter box routine, and favorite hangout spots. I pay attention to the little things—like which toy they love most or if they prefer chin scratches over belly rubs. I keep everything low-stress and predictable, which cats really appreciate. If I’m caring for a cat in my home, I make sure there’s a quiet space they can retreat to and feel secure in. I provide enrichment like scratching posts, cozy beds, window perches, and interactive playtime to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. Cleanliness is a top priority—especially when it comes to litter boxes and food dishes. Above all, I give them love on their terms—whether that’s a cuddle on the couch, a gentle brush, or just quietly being in the same room while they nap. It’s all about trust, patience, and making sure they feel completely at ease.

About: I have two dogs currently about 8-9 years old. I have had a senior dog in previous years. Looking to help out and make some furry friends! I am a teacher on summer break. I have 2 dogs of my own but have plenty of flexibility in my schedule till the end of August. I can come in and walk, feed, and play with your animals. Whatever instructions left I’d be happy to comply with what’s needed for your furry friend!

About: I have taken care of pets most of my life. I’ve mostly handled cats and dogs, but I also have experience with bearded dragons 😊 I really do love all animals! I work M-F as a nurse but I’m usually done by 3:00 in the afternoon. I’ve found I really need something to do in my free time and I couldn’t think of anything better than taking care of some pets! As a nurse, safety is very important to me. I would use my days off to dedicate all my time to your pet, their happiness, and safety 😊

About: Hi, I’m Ikea and caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I love. With hands-on experience from my time volunteering and working at the Delaware SPCA, I’ve cared for both dogs and cats by providing food, water, walks, clean living spaces, and lots of affection. I also had the opportunity to assist veterinary technicians with administering medication, which gave me even deeper insight into animal health and behavior. Whether your pet needs a calm companion, a playful friend, or someone patient and communicative while you’re away, I’m here to help. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs—and I treat each one like family. I’d love to meet your furry friend and give them the care, comfort, and attention they deserve! My current schedule is Monday through Friday 930 to 6 PM is when I have to work. I am free during the evening if you have walking needs and pretty local to me also free on Saturday and Sunday. In my home, I create a calm, clean, and safe environment where your pet can feel comfortable and cared for. I follow your pet’s usual routines—mealtimes, walks, play, and rest—while also providing plenty of affection, structure, and enrichment. I keep a close eye on behavior and health, and I’m confident handling medications if needed. In your home, I respect your space and your pet’s established routines. I make sure they feel secure in their familiar environment while you’re away, offering walks, fresh food and water, playtime, and cleaning up after them as needed. I stay communicative with updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is in loving hands. No matter the location, my goal is always the same: to make your pet feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away.

“I would like to say that Lisamarie is a very kind hearted and very loving human being and she adores her 13 cats and just idolizes her German Shepard Nyla I completely trust Lisamarie with all animals only because she grew up her whole life always taking care of other peoples animals, like walking there dogs or just always taking care of any stays that came her way She is a good person and I know in my heart anyone would be lucky to get her to care for their pets”

Matthew S.Star Sitter
“Matt is very dependable, reliable and truly cares about animals. He does a wonderful job taking care of my young german shepherd puppy, Ellie. At 4 months, she can be quite a handful, but Matt has no problem handling anything she throws at him. He deals with accidents, biting and all sorts of general puppy craziness without any problems and a with positive attitude. Ellie is always thrilled to see him, and I know that I will have a relaxed, tired out puppy by the time Matt leaves. Before Ellie, Matt took care of my 90 lb shepherd whenever I went out of town for work or vacations. He took care of administering medications and dietary needs Ace had when he was older and going through chemo. It made me feel much more comfortable going away knowing that Ace was in good hands.”

“Rhiannon is excellent with all animals, especially dogs. She is very kind, patient and responsible with them. I have personally witnessed this as she takes care of her own dog who is blind with diabetes. She is so loving, gives her dog a lot of attention, empathizes with the dog being blind and has infinite patience. She is very responsible for her dog taking her to the vet and making sure she gets her insulin twice a day. Rhiannon has a way with dogs that I have never seen. They love her and are automatically attracted to her. I have used her to take care of my own dogs. They love her and everything went perfectly!”

Ikea T.
“I had to take an unexpected week-long assignment in California as an insurance adjudicator due to the wildfires, and I was incredibly stressed about leaving behind my two cats and three dogs. Thankfully, Ikea came through in the clutch! She was referred to me by a relative I work with, and from the moment we connected, I felt confident my fur babies were in good hands. Ikea was very attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. She followed every instruction I gave, sent regular photo updates, and kept me completely at ease the entire time I was away. Not only did she provide excellent care for my pets, but she also took great care of my home. Her love for animals truly shows, and her calm, trustworthy nature made all the difference. I still use her any time I travel—and I always come home to happy pets and a clean house. She definitely rocks. Highly recommend!”
