“We had a wonderful experience with Elizabeth! Came two days in a row with only a one-day notice. She came right on time and took great care of Bogey both days. Communication was great, she sent cute pictures/updates, and it was clear our pup was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Leigh was great and so flexible with my last minutes needs! Every detail was followed and Duch was well taken care of! I definitely recommend Leigh and will be rebooking in the future!!”

“Cassandra was amazing with our shy cat and helped her feel comfortable to start coming out while we were away! Communication was great during our trip and we will definitely book her again.”

“I have been hesitant to take vacation especially because my older dog is not a fan of kennels. I decided to use Rover for the first time and chose Anne as my sitter. She did a fantastic job! My dog and cat loved her since they met her. Anne kept following up with me and letting me know how they were doing. While on vacation, I knew that they were in capable hands and well taken care of. I will always try to choose her and that puts me at ease when I'm away. Thanks Anne!”

“Jordana connected with my kitty right away and took great care of her. She is very dependable, takes great pictures to share with me and handles the feeding, playing and litter box with love. Highly recommend her for your pet care!”

“Jeannette took so much time to care for Kingsley, our older dog. He was happy to see her, and she gave us great updates on his care while we were out of town. Jeannette was clearly patient and so kind to our boy. Thank you!!”

“Toni is amazing! She spent the time to get to know my pup and was great with him. Her experience with her own pets is evident, and she is a trustworthy walker! She was flexible and communicated clearly!”

“Amazing dog sitter. She went above and beyond for my two dogs. She provided walks and love to both of them while I was away. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and their health. She was so caring and took time to help my bernadoodle with his ear infection. 10/10 highly recommended!!”

“This was my first time ever using Rover & I’m so happy that I chose Amanda. First of all, it was a last minute request and she was kind enough to squeeze us in. She took such good care of Peggie & sent the most adorable picture of Peggie. I cannot thank Amanda enough and I will definitely have Amanda watch Peggie every chance I could!”

“Glenna confirmed the booking on short notice and kept me posted every step of the way on her visit. Slugger has a lot of energy but she knows how to navigate it and keep him on track while on his walks. I know he’s always in good hands when Glenna comes to check him.”

“Stephanie was great! She stopped in as she was scheduled every day. She let me know if there were any issues, brought in my packages and trash cans. She kept me updated with how they were eating, behaving and going potty. I received a lot of pictures and peace of mind. She had no problem doing a meet and greet before we left. Highly recommend Steph for your pet sitting needs!”

“Shanisa has both boarded my dogs and did a drop in when I was late for a dinner. She is reliable and makes sure to center the comfort of my pups. She understands that my dogs are my world and treats them well.”

“Dylan was always prompt and took such great care of our babies. I could tell by his pictures and check-ins that the cats were in great hands and upon our return home they seemed so much less stressed than they typically are when we’re away. He intuitively figured out a lot of their quirks, and we appreciate his attentiveness - we’d absolutely book with Dylan again!”

About: Hello! I am a huge animal lover, who regrets not pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Animals have been my passion, love, and a needed presence for my entire life; in fact, my first word was kitty. As a child I researched animals of all kinds, and still do today. I love to train and play with dogs, snuggle with cats, ride horses, sing with the birds, make kissy faces at fish, etc. I often research natural pet care(& for humans!), training for all animals. I am educated in pet behavior and look for any signs of distress or change in your pets behavior, physical and mental health. I also enjoy making homemade organic, healthy treats for all pets. I've had many types of animals over the years and genuinely looking to enjoy time with your pets. I'm happy to just spend time, train (I am not a professional but do enjoy training) and walk or hike. I am a Mama to 5 cats & one Golden/Brittany mix (who are not currently in my home & in Maine as they transition here). I have owned two special needs cata that required medication, special requirements and sub-q fluids at home - I am happy to care for any special requirements. I also do a lot of pet photography and would be overjoyed to take your pets photos! I'm excited to meet and bond with your fur babies! I work typical M-F hours and off on the weekends (and summer!). I will fully integrate their needs into my schedule and ensure their needs are met and they are happy, safe and healthy. I will treat your pets as my own while you are away. I am very affectionate and attentive and truly seek to connect with your baby. I'm happy to send pictures and videos as much as you like! I'd like to connect not only with them, but you and hopefully be a trusted person to rely on when you need care for your animals.

“This was our first time booking drop in visits with Marissa and she was amazing! We have very finicky cats and she didn't even blink when I told her about their specific requirements.”

“Boys loved their time with Robbie, and he was an excellent communicator the whole time, and was flexible on such short notice as well! Would love to have the boys spend time with him again when needed!”

As of September 2026, there are 4,020 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Granogue. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Granogue. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
