About: I do work a full time job August-May as a cafeteria manager at a school, so please check my calendar for availability. :) I have hands-on experience with puppies, seniors, and reactive dogs. I approach every animal with patience, calm energy, and genuine love. I have two rescues: Athena, an 8-year-old beagle, and Ford, an 8-year-old black lab/German shepherd mix. My daily routine already revolves around playtime, and snuggles so adding more furry friends to the mix is second nature to me. I always aim to keep pets in a stress free and familiar environment, whether that’s in your home or out on a walk. I follow your care instructions and give regular updates so you feel connected while you’re away. I do not offer boarding at this time due to my own dog’s needs, but I’m committed to safe, thoughtful care in your home!

“Pluto (our boy) adapted to his new environment (with Danielle) within 1 day- which is amazing… that reason alone assured us, greatly, that he is safe. Danielle is an absolute natural! You will love her as well! Our next getaway, she will be the one we go to with no hesitation❣️❣️💯🙏🏾”

“Carole is incredible! She took great care of our pups, taking pictures of them and leaving us notes for each drop in visit letting us know they were doing great! She was very kind, easy to reach, and showed up to each visit. We appreciated how easy it was to work with her. Thanks for taking care of our dogs and even giving our cat some love!”

“Absolutely phenomenal. Went on a trip for 4 days by plane. Usually I bring my pup with me but this wasn’t an option this time. Ruth took SUCH great care of him. She sent pictures, gave awesome updates. I was nervous my pup would be anxious or sad while I was gone, but I’m not even sure he noticed I was gone once Ruth starting stopping in with him! Couldn’t recommend her enough. I have full faith and trust in her watching my only pup. The best experience I’ve had.”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13. Most of my experience is with cats and dogs. I have limited experience with snakes. I'm not afraid of spiders or bugs. I'm currently working full-time as a legal assistant, so I'm usually only available during the evenings and weekends. I'm usually home from work at around 6 pm and am available until 9 pm during the week. Fridays and Saturdays are generally open unless I have prior obligations. I don't work on Sundays. I can only pet sit at a clients home due to having 2 cats of my own. I go by whatever rules/guidelines they specifically have for me.

“Tiana is wonderful! She takes excellent care of our cat and bird while we are away. She is caring and attentive and we appreciate that she does everything we ask! Our cat loves her and even gave her kisses! Highly recommended!”

About: I have had and taken care of dogs for years. We have done quite a bit of pet sitting for family dogs over time. 🚗 I love dogs and they respond very well to me. This is been a long time dream to be able to host dogs in my home. I am a semi-retired Notary Signing Agent for the state of NC, so I am able to pick and choose the contracts. This allows me to make the Daycare and Boarding a priority. . ! Having other dogs playing with our now “Big Guy”, just helps him to be more social and keeps him very active as well. I have a nice fenced in yard for play, and a well laid out home for comfort. I also have extensive knowledge in taking care of dogs in a very safe and secure manner.

About: My name is David, however I go by Dak. I am very much a dog person, much more so than a people person! My most recent experience in animal care was at Harbor Point Animal Hospital (5.5yrs) I was a Fear Free ELITE certified veterinary assistant, specializing in animals who needed a little extra care or attention. I spent a lot of time studying animal behavior and ways to alleviate stress and anxiety so I am well equipped if you pet has some anxiety. I am also well versed in medication admin, fluids, and elderly pet care/vital monitoring. Studies show that even a short 10 min relief from a boring day while you are at work, reduces the stress, anxiety, and the possibility for behavioral/destructive outbursts. I cant wait to take time to get to know you furry family member(s) and help them get some attention they need while you are working hard to provide, or need an extra hand during a busy week! I am currently working from home while my daughter is out of school. My day is very flexible so I can work around your pets needs! I care for your pets in your home the same way I care for mine in my home. First by observing and understanding their surroundings like fenced in yards, baby gates, kennels, etc.. all the things intended to keep your loved one safe. Second, I make sure I understand any special needs that your pet has whether it is a behavioral issue related to fear or anxiety, or your pet is elderly and needs a little extra help or monitoring. 3rd and finally with the same amount of respect i show my own. our pets are our family and I will always treat them as such.

“Ashley did wonderful for my 3 scaredy cats! This was my first time hiring a pet sitter and I was actually very nervous about the whole thing, but it ultimately turned out wonderfully and my house was in pristine order when I returned. About: I've been surrounded by dogs of every kind my entire life, I have had 2 dogs and 3 cats. I enjoy working with dogs because I am an outdoor person who likes to go for runs and walks. I have been relied on by my friends and neighbors to come and spend time, feed, and walk their pets. I am currently enrolled at Catawba College, getting my masters degree, while competing on the beach volleyball team. All my classes are online and practice ranges from 7-8am, 11am- 1pm, and 5-6pm, but vary through the week. I have a fenced-in backyard for my 2-year-old Lab and I make sure that we keep the bedroom doors closed so I can always keep my eye on them.

David "Dak" R.
“If you’re thinking about booking Dak on Rover—do it! I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s the kind of person you instantly trust with your pets, and more importantly, your pets trust him too. Dak is super reliable and he treats every animal like it’s his own. He’s especially amazing with nervous or shy pets. I’ve seen him sit quietly for ages just to let a skittish dog or cat come to him on their own terms. He’s so patient, and animals can feel how genuine he is. You’ll feel 100% at ease knowing your furry family member is with someone who truly cares.”

“Suzanne took great care of my cat. She took photos and stayed in great communication. I would definitely book her again!”
