Maisie is quite wary of new people, but to my delight and surprise, the second day we dropped her off Maisie smiled a doggie smile usually reserved for only three family members (me, my daughter and my husband) and happily rushed to Toktam's front yard gate to see her! Wow! That was a first. I have had really good experiences with Rover but this one was the absolute best because even though I am a worry wart and very protective of our sensitive, formerly traumatized little street dog Maisie, once I met Toktam, I was immediately comfortable, confident and relieved that she would be in the best of hands for her four days of daycare. “Mindy provided day care for my aunt's dog, Sassy, while we visited Niagara Falls from Arkansas. Sassy had never been under someone else's care and my aunt was nervous about leaving her with a "stranger". But Mindy was wonderful and allowed us to come for a 'meet and greet' when we arrived in town the day before our booking. My aunt was still nervous about leaving her the next day because Sassy, being a Maltipoo, has separation anxiety. But Mindy knew taking Sassy for a walk right after we left would be a good distraction. She was also wonderful about sending pictures and videos especially that first day and that made us feel better about leaving her. By the second day Sassy was comfortable going straight to Mindy when we arrived. Also, she was very flexible regarding drop off and pick up times.”

About: I have raised two dogs (one large bread and one small bread) both from puppy to 16 & 17yrs old. I have had three cats (one still residing with me). Currently I dog sit two fur babies since 2020. In a week I am losing one of my buddies due to his parents relocating. I am already missing him and am hoping to make some new walking and cuddling partners. I work part time on weekends but can sit with advanced notice. Monday til Wednesday I am available for anytime on shorter notice. When I have your furry sweetheart I do not leave them by themselves at all,so I like to schedule when there is nothing to conflict with the time I have them. When in my house they have no restrictions from me, only what the parent wants. I have an outside bathroom area on leash for quick bathroom trips. I like to go for at least one or two long walks per day, weather permitting and your dogs abilities. I live in a walkable neighborhood and close to parks. When at your house I will follow whatever routine your partner is used to.

Beth was responsive and caring, and exceptionally kind and understanding when Avocado had tummy issues due to the fact that he (unbeknownst to us at the time) ate some food that disagreed with him before we dropped him off.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the last 15 years. I’ve offered in home boarding and walking services. Myself, i have a chocolate lab and a shih-tzu so i have experience with both large and small breeds. I would love to love your dog in your absence whether that be for work, vacation etc. I have an allergy to cats so cannot offer cat care. I’m currently working full time from home so i have the ability to care for your dog all day! With my fenced in yard, we can play during the day and i can take them for walks around the neighborhood whenever needed as well. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly senior dog to keep your fur baby company during the day! I can crate your dog if needed and have an open house for them to safely explore or lounge on the furniture if they wish! I can also make accommodations if your dog doesn’t play well with others.

About: I have owned dogs on and off since I was 8 years old and helped take care of all their basic needs. I currently care for my baby girl Skye who is a rescue and I have helped her come a long way from being scared and untrusting of humans to loving and trusting myself. I am currently a full time stay at home dad and do Uber/Lyft in my free time so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups all day long. I am available throughout the week to board and take care of your dogs. I have a lead in my front yard that I use to take my dog Skye out on. My dog Skye is very dog friendly and loves to play with others. I also have a dog stroller for smaller dogs that may not like going on walks but needs the fresh air.
