I bring 5 years of professional pet-sitting experience - I took a break to start a business but my passion for this industry brings me right back to doing what I love here on Rover. I grew up in a multi-pet household caring for dogs, cats, birds, and exotics. I also have six years of hands-on experience as a Humane Society volunteer, plus years of sitting for friends and family prior to my professional experience. I currently share my home with two active dogs and two sweet cats, which allows me to stay practiced for playtime or walks. Because I live right in town, I know all the local parks and can easily accommodate short-notice requests. Before any house sitting booking, I request a quick 5-10 minute tour of your home. My work is fully flexible and remote, so I can accommodate short-notice requests, extra time requests and have plenty of energy for playtime and walks! I clean while saying in others home, making sure blankets and toys stay fresh and the home looks as it was found. I set alarms to ensure timely medication administration and that routines are upheld. I stay quite focused on time spent with the animals.

About: I have had had pet care experience with all kinds of pets, from cats, dogs, and rabbits. I have volunteered at a cat shelter for 2 years back in my hometown in Hawaii. This included cleaning litter boxes, playing with them, feeding them, and giving medicine if needed. I also pet sat both big and small dogs and love to take them on walks. And I had a rabbit who lived to a long healthy age of 10 years! I do miss playing with my sister's cat back home so I will make sure your pet gets the love and care they need. I also can send pictures of your pet while you are away if wanted or if I think they are being cute or funny lol. I work part-time and am in and out of class depending on the week so we can work on a schedule together and see what works. I have wide spaced apartment if needed for pet sitting at my place for your pets to run around, but only for cats. I also have no problem caring for your pet in your own home and cleaning up after them.

We understand going on vacations and needing in home care for your pets is important. Leave the caring to us. We have two dogs, and a cat. Your pet will be loved and taken care of as if they were our own. We also understand pets are sensitive to change and families leaving. We will provide comfort and a peaceful environment for your pet. We live near a bike path to go on walks and have a large fenced in yard. Plenty of space to play fetch! This is easy! We already have a schedule for our pets. What is one more?! We treat them as our own. We make sure they get plenty of snuggles and pets in too. I have a fenced in yard with two friendly dogs to keep them active and safe. We love playing outside getting fresh air. About: Hello! My name is Ava, i’m 19, and i’m a HUGE dog person. I’ve had dogs my whole life, big and small, lazy and crazy, girls and boys. I also have tonsssss of experience with reactive pups. I’m the main dog walker in the family. I’ve also dog sat for many families and I’ve worked for a doggy daycare/boarding facility. I know how to read body language and how to approach nervous pups. I can also handle leash pullers of any size. My current obsession is fostering. I foster for Journey Home Animal Rescue with my roommates and we are LOVING it. Your dog will be so loved under my care. I seriously treat them like children. All dogs are good dogs!:) I currently work part time as a lifeguard and my schedule is usually all over the place and never really consistent so my plan is to take clients when i know ill be available. I treat all dogs like they’re my own! I’ve always had a deep connection with animals and i’ve been told it’s because i treat them as if they’re a human. I like to spoil pups any way that i can (walks, treats, playtime, nap time, cuddles, etc.) depending on their preferences because all dogs are different!

About: There was never a time a lived without dogs, I grew up taking care of my beloved furry friends and l've taken care of pets for family and friends since I was little. I have experience taking care of elder dogs such as my Maisy and Bell, helping them in walking and eating towards the end of their lives, and I have also taken care of younger dogs like my dog hoss. My love and care for animals has only grown as I have. I am currently a student at UND so I do have classes weekdays but I have plenty of time to take care of your pets most days and weekends. My schedule is flexible. I know that you know your pet best and I can follow any instructions on how to keep your furry friends happy. I can make sure they have fresh water and good exercise along with the perfect amount of food based on their schedules. I will care for your four-legged friends with care and respect.

About: I grew up in Grand Forks with 2 German Shepherds and a Yorkie. I love every type of dog, big or small. I worked at the doggie daycare Petopia in town for a year and a half and only stopped in preparation for school. I loved every dog I met as much as my own and my camera roll is filled with pictures of them! I’m currently a class of 2030 UND Aviation student and I work part time dispatch at Ryan Hall but I’m pretty flexible. I love staying busy, playing tennis, flying, going to my lake, and going on walks, so I think this would be a great addition. I work part time for UND and I start school in August where I typically have class midday. I often get up early and go on nightly walks. I’d love dogs to be apart of my morning and nightly routine. I love to play with dogs when they’re in their high-energy state and I also love to just pet them if they want to lounge. Going on walks and staying healthy is very important to me and having a pup to accompany me would be awesome! Just like myself, I’d always make sure they have water.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs for a long time. I have a puppy right now that is about two years old named Bauer and he is my best friend. Before Bauer I had two other puppies and I love all dogs. I would love to spend time with your dog take them on walks, drives, feedings, baths, and to the park! I am still in school so I am working part time and when I am avaliable I would love to spend my time with your puppy! I do have a very friendly puppy in my home that loves to meet new puppy friends!
