About: I became a licensed Veterinary Technician in 2014 and have 10 years experience working in general practice. I have been dog sitting since high school. I currently work Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm and come home for lunch noon-1pm to care for my own small senior dog as well as 2 senior cats. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly 12 year old dog named Penny. Penny and guest dog will be separated if I am not home but I will have a camera I can view the guest dog as needed if I'm at work. The resident cats will not have access to the guest dog while I am away. My pets eat 4 meals a day and Penny is let outside 4-7 times a day.

“STELLAR PET SITTER, MARIAH SAVED MY CATS WHILE I WAS ON VACATION Mariah is a sweet, peaceful, committed sitter that takes her bookings seriously and does a great job. I have 4 cats and went on an 8 day vacation, so I booked a pet sitter through Rover to come and check on them and th house twice a day. About halfway through the week, that guy (Michael L. from the Fargo area) decided to take advantage of my home and brought other pets inside. I did not want him in my house anymore and unfortunately I had no family or close friends in town that I could call for help. I asked Mariah if she could take over the check in visits for the rest of the week, starting immediately and without notice. She was so understanding of the difficult situation I was in with the other pet sitter and agreed to help me out. She showed so much flexibility and started doing an amazing job right away. She communicated great and took the best care of my cats and home despite the fact she is recovering from an ankle fracture. After the horrible experience with the previous pet sitter, Mariah was the perfect peaceful fit to look over them for the rest of the days. The cats became comfortable with her, and she helped me very diligently to find 2 of my cats that seemed to be missing after I cancelled the first pet sitter (Michael L) I was in another country without able to do almost anything for my home and kitties, and I am so grateful to have found Mariah.”

About: There was never a time a lived without dogs, I grew up taking care of my beloved furry friends and l've taken care of pets for family and friends since I was little. About: I love small dogs. I've had my own dogs for 20 years now, raising them from puppies to seniors. I know how hard it can be to find pet-sitting services, especially for multiple overnights. When I travel, I prefer to have someone stay at my house and be with my dogs - not just show up once in a while to feed them or let them out. What I want for my own dogs is what I give to you - 24/7 personal care for your pet. I know how expensive it can be to board dogs and the guilty feeling knowing that they are going to be in a kennel for most of the time. When your dog is with us, they are part of the family! My rates are a bit more expensive than boarding facilities but its the constant care, no cages, 24/7 love and affection that you are getting that makes a few dollars more worth it. Your dogs are free are to do their thing and can even sleep with us if that is what they are used to! Our bed is big enough! I prefer smaller (20 pounds or less) hypoallergenic breeds that will get along with my own fur-babies. Yours must be spayed or neutured, because my 2 bichon frises are not (we are hoping for babies!). Spy on us if you want - I have a Furbo or we can set up a camera for zoom. But I promise to send lots of pictures! I provide 24/7 care. Your dog will never be left alone. Rover is new to me, but my dogs rule this house. We are very dog-friendly, from toys and treats to washable rugs and floors! Your dog can even sleep with us if thats what they are used to. I have a large fenced in backyard with lots of room for dogs to run and play. I will take them outside frequently, although we have a doggy door as well. Your dogs will never be unattended. Your dogs will be our priority when they are here - keeping them safe, loved, and entertained!

“Lexy is a terrific! I reached out to other Rover dog walkers who either failed to respond or had full schedules. Lexy responded within 5 minutes of my text and was able to accommodate my travel dates. She happily did an initial visit to meet my Great Dane Maddie which gave me confidence she could manage my goofy giant dog. I booked Lexy for 1-week (as a trial for me…) and then again for 2-weeks. Lexy’s 1st day was a real test…Maddie managed to lock herself in an upstairs room in my house! I was ‘in the air’ so unavailable to immediately contact. Lexy attempted to unlock/open the door with no luck. She ended up contacting local non-emergency who sent folks out to the house and safely unlocked the door. Lexy contacted one of my family members as an FYI and also texted and left a voice mail for me to see when I landed. The 2nd day…Lexy mostly did a visit. Maddie just wanted to bark, and bark, and bark…so Lexy sat with her until she settled down (Danes can be a bit neurotic ), then was able to let her out back. Lexy had patience with Maddie and helped her to settle into the new routine. The rest of that 1st week and the other 2-weeks went great! Lexy came out again before the next 2-week job to get ‘re-acquainted’ which worked very well for Maddie (and me). I received daily ‘check-in’ & ‘check-out’ texts and report cards via Rover; Lexy was great about letting me know how the visits were going and how Maddie was settling in. Having the detailed communications allowed me to enjoy my family vacation. I highly recommend Lexy to care for your 4-legged family members!”
About: I have had had pet care experience with all kinds of pets, from cats, dogs, and rabbits. I have volunteered at a cat shelter for 2 years back in my hometown in Hawaii. This included cleaning litter boxes, playing with them, feeding them, and giving medicine if needed. I also pet sat both big and small dogs and love to take them on walks. And I had a rabbit who lived to a long healthy age of 10 years! I do miss playing with my sister's cat back home so I will make sure your pet gets the love and care they need. I also can send pictures of your pet while you are away if wanted or if I think they are being cute or funny lol. About: I grew up in Grand Forks with 2 German Shepherds and a Yorkie. I love every type of dog, big or small. I worked at the doggie daycare Petopia in town for a year and a half and only stopped in preparation for school. I loved every dog I met as much as my own and my camera roll is filled with pictures of them! I’m currently a class of 2030 UND Aviation student and I work part time dispatch at Ryan Hall but I’m pretty flexible. I love staying busy, playing tennis, flying, going to my lake, and going on walks, so I think this would be a great addition. I work part time for UND and I start school in August where I typically have class midday. I often get up early and go on nightly walks. I’d love dogs to be apart of my morning and nightly routine. About: I have been watching dogs and cats for people for the last many years and have loved everyone of them. I love when they ask me again to watch the same dogs. we get such a bond and I get very excited when I can go back to watch them again. I also have had many dogs and cats when I was younger. I am not working and have a pretty open schedule. I always have time to love them like they are mine. I am such a animal lover I have 4 cats and 1 dog that get along great with other animals. I will care for them and love them as they are mine.
“Amy is a very nice caring person. She communicates well. Took our dog for lots of walks. My dog had a good stay that would have been better is she had a secured backyard. On the other hand I did not investigate this but again she made up for this by taking him for walks. . She also gave him a nice bath.”

About: I've always loved animals, & have cared for dogs, cats, and many other animals since I was a kid. I have experience with kittens, puppies, nursing mothers, bottle-feeding puppies and kittens, potty-training and basic obedience training, and caring for seniors animals. In the last several years, my kids have joined me in caring for a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles and even a hedgehog. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to make sure your pet gets the exercise and other care they need! I have a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company, a home and family environment for pet sitting or boarding, and a kennel available for use as necessary.
About: I have work at 2 doggy daycare for the past 7+ years! I have experience with all sorts of dogs, ranging from anxious and nervous to rambunctious and excited. I can comfortably administer medication. I am certified in Canine Behavior and Basic Obedience. I love taking pups out for day trips, either that being the hiking trails or just a fun car ride! I can work any day of the week! I don’t have any strict schedules! I do take on training clients but your pup would never be alone for more than an hour! If we’re hanging out at my house I provide a safe and stimulating environment! I have a field right behind my house that I love to bring my dogs too to play fetch! I can crate if needed! I also have two fur babies to keep yours company!
