About: Hi there! My name is Britlyn, I have had almost 3 years of pet care experience. I previously work at the Red Hydrant back in Grand Forks, ND. I worked at the Hydrant for about a year and a half before leaving for college. At the Hydrant I spent a lot of time caring for pups and their different needs. Some major needs were time sensitive medication, senior dogs, and dog-reactive dogs, blind, deaf, and other special needs pups. Working at the Hydrant help me better understand dogs body language and know when they are comfortable or not in certain situations. Outside of the Hydrant I foster and volunteer for an organization called Journey Home based out of the Grand Forks area. My past fosters name was Donnie. I work part time in the winter and play Hockey that the University of Jamestown so I am pretty busy in the week and sometimes have the weekends off. In the summer I have more free time so I will be more available. I always try to make sure your pet is comfortable and feel at home with me around. I also like to try to keep their schedule the same as with their parents so they don't get too worried with change.
About: I enjoy being around all animals. I think if we meet them where they are at, they will be happier with us. Dogs and cats truly light up my life. I myself have quite a few cats currently I’d spend all my time with my cats, but I think they get irritated with me after awhile. I’m looking to take the energy else where. When I enter a clients home, I am very conscious of the norms of the animal. This is their home, and I am a guest. I think with any animal, if we speak softly but carry a big stick, we will be respected. I show respect in the homes by taking my shoes off, not allowing muddy paws to go onto the floor without being cleaned, etc.
“Riley is incredibly kind, thoughtful, communicative, flexible, thoughtful, and attentive. She has been a rock for me while I've been recovering from surgery. She's so reliable and pays close attention when she's walking my dog. I literally could not ask for a better walker.”

About: I have fostered anything from Kids to raccoons! I believe I was put on this earth to mother all creatures. 😁 I have been fostering animals since I brought a baby hummingbird home when I was 10. I just enjoy helping. I’m a single mom taking care of 2 of my grandchildren and 1 newly adopted little girl. I am medically retired from law enforcement in California and a stay home Nonni/Mama. I can easily crate your animal if you would like to send their crate with them. I take them out every couple hours to go potty. I have child gates to prevent them from going up or down the stairs in my home. I let animals on my couches and even let them lay on the bed. They are free to roam most areas.
About: I'm a pet lover by nature. I've been a pet "mom" to dogs and cats since I've been young. My pets are my family and tend to be a bit spoiled. I also care for others like they are my own. I'm a nurse and work 3 days a week which allows me plenty of time to care for your furry friend. I am able to provide care on short notice and am flexible with the needs of clients. I currently have a cat that I love more than anything. I am open to care for dogs in my home and care for your furry friend in your home to keep your pet in a routine that they are used to.
