Frances C.

“Frances is amazing! Amazing with our crazy frenchies. She is so patient with them. She stayed in touch with us throughout our trip and took great care of our babies!”

Amber Y.

“So grateful for Amber. I just moved to San Antonio and had to turn around and fly back to Kentucky for a wedding. I’ve never Rover’d someone at my home before but I felt that was easiest for my dogs because moving was stressful enough for them, so I didn’t want to drop them off at a strangers house with 10 other dogs in a cramped space. When we got to town she came over to meet me and the dogs to say hi, so I could feel comfortable with her. That was really sweet. She’s awesome and I’m glad she was willing to do that. From the time I left until when I got back, she updated me constantly. She sent pictures and kept me updated about how they were doing. It eased my mind. My dogs clearly loved her, it was obvioua when I got back. On top of that, having just moved, there were a bunch of issues at my house that needed to be fixed. She had to deal with that, which was unfair to her and not something she should have had to deal with. But she was helpful and kind. Definitely recommend. Thank you, Amber!”

Abeer A.

“Abeer was extremely easy to work with and took amazing care of both our very spoiled cat and our house. She has superb communication skills and gave many updates with pictures. She put us at complete ease leaving our cat for a long weekend of travel. I cannot recommend her enough!”

Erica J.

“She was an absolute gem. I had a last minute trip planned, and I had to make arrangements for my two high maintenance dogs. Erica house sat for me last minute and did amazing with my two huskies. When I got home, my huskies were tired (that’s an impressive feat on its own), and my house was clean of husky dust. She definitely didn’t have to sweep and whatnot but she did! I would book her again in a heartbeat.”

Truc N.

“Truc was great! Very attentive, considerate and communicative. I recommend her to anyone and will definitely have her watch the dogs in the future.”

Ariel F.
“I have known Ariel for years and can confidently say that she is one of the most responsible and loving dog owners I have ever met. Her own pets are always happy, healthy, and well-cared for, and I have no doubt that she would provide the same level of care to any pets she watches on Rover. Ariel is attentive, patient, and truly loves animals, making her an ideal choice for anyone looking for a responsible and loving pet caregiver. I highly recommend Ariel for anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

Sara R.

“Sara is AMAZING with our two dogs. They absolutely adore her. Any time we need a dog sitter when we go out of town, Sara is our #1 choice! We have a two year old dog and a crazy puppy and Sara is great at making sure all their needs are met and that they are comforted while we are away. We HIGHLY recommend Sara to anyone who needs a skilled dog sitter to take care of their pups while they are away.”

Matthew C.

“Matt stayed at our house to watch our foster dog for a weekend, and I believe he may have provided her with the best weekend of her life. He took her to the park, to The Pearl, on a ton of walks, helped with her training, and played with her in the yard a ton. He sent lots of photos and gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy a weekend away. The house was tidier than when we left it. Would definitely recommend Matt in the future for all Rover services. He was great!”

Lucia D.

“Lucia was absolutely wonderful! She provided clear communication and updates on Charlie throughout her stay. She was very responsible and even cleaned up the house after her stay with our dog! I would 100% use her again!! Thank you Lucia!!”

Vanessa C.

“Vanessa was beyond amazing! She babysat and stayed overnight. Our puppy was so happy and well taken care of! Vanessa was so great at communicating and sending pictures throughout. Vanessa was so attentive, she noticed our puppy's allergies were acting up while we were away. She messaged us as soon as she noticed and gave him his meds while we were away. 100% recommend.”

Desirae L.

“Desirae has been a lover of dogs for as long as I've known her- that being my entire life. She's always had a natural motherly instinct when it comes to our furry friends. When she's not out w the gals (her 3 dogs) at the dog park she's taking them for a run around the neighborhood to help keep them all in shape. She definitely would never turn her shoulder on a living animal & will always give her 110% when it comes to caring for her pets.”

Ericka H.

“Ericka calmed all my fears about leaving my reactive pup with her! She sent me lots of pictures and just took such good care of them! My dogs loved Ericka 🥰 (I’m only begrudgingly leaving this review bc I selfishly want to keep her for myself!)”

About: As a former middle school educator, I understand that patience and love are key to any interaction. I’ve grown up with pets since I was 8 years old, and I’ve formally dog walked friends and families pets for five years. I keep in touch with all of them as if they were my own. I believe dogs deserve all of the love, patience, and fun. I have experience with small to medium dogs the most, but have also built meaningful relationships with larger dogs. This includes bathing, walking, feeding (and hand feeding), snuggling, and more. My current longest client is 4 years strong and I have even taken them to vet appointments as well as helped the owners research and find the best pet insurance for them. I have also experienced losing a loved dog and know the pain it brings; this reminds me to always give everything I can when in the presence of your fur baby. Whether your baby requires a little more attention or just needs a simple check in, I am here to help and follow your guidelines! BOARDING AND DAYCARE REQUESTS: if you book boarding or daycare in my home, please know I will not have any other pet around. I want to ensure top safety and that your pet receives 100% of my attention. I currently work full time but I am available almost all weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays (except Christmas and NY). I live in an apartment but it is located in a large park with plenty of exercise space and greenery. I will make sure your baby can still receive their exercise and potty time safely! Note to clients further than 12 miles: A $10 travel fee will be added for mileage/gas if you are located farther than 12 miles. When you schedule me, I’ll have plenty of time to be with your fur baby! Please be specific about their needs and yours. I will gladly follow up with any questions to ensure my service is to highest standards. Safety and trust are the utmost priority. While I do have experience with reactive dogs, I truly believe that specific boundaries and safety measures vary on a case by case basis. I will happily review your dogs profile and speak to you to ensure a safe plan is in place before our visit!

Amanda C.
“We were very happy with Amanda. We had a last minute need to travel to Raleigh and Amanda stepped up to stay with our pets overnight. She is a very kind and caring person. Our pets were safe with her.”

Mackenzie H.

“I'm so thankful for Mackenzi! She was able to step-in to house sit my dog last minute after another Rover house sitter cancelled on their booking halfway through providing their house-sitting booking. Mackenzie provided the care and followed the schedule agreed upon for my dog. I have already booked Mackenzie again for another house-sitting booking and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a house-sitter for their pet.”

About: Absolutely love dogs! I've had dogs since I was 12 and have trained my three dogs to sit, give paw, lie down and roll over, all of which are spoiled. I have a 12 year old Bichon poodle who can actually jump through a Hulu hoop, 4 year old shiz tu and 1 year old Siberian husky who is crate trained. I am home all day accompanyed by my parents when they come home from work. I only have college on Thursdays from 6-9:30, which my parents will be home. I live in a nice little suburb, which is nice to walk dogs around without any disturbances. Our yard is huge and fenced in. No dog will be lonely or bored with my company and the company of my loving dogs, if they prefer to make new furry friends, of course.

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was around 8 years old. I was in charge of bathing, cleaning, training, and veterinary visits all the way through high school too. I have a deep love for all pets and genuinely miss taking care of those sweet babies! I currently am a full time college student, meaning I have a full schedule on Monday and Wednesday from afternoon to about 6 pm. Every day throughout the week other than those two days, is completely free and available for fun and care of pets! I have a bunch of beautiful parks right outside of my apartment that would be perfect for walks and potty breaks and meeting friendly neighborhood dogs and cats!

Mel G.

“Mel was very professional and did a great job babysitting my dog! Thanks!”

About: With over 30 years of pet ownership experience, plus working in the veterinary field for 10 years, I have cultivated a unique set of skills for working with pets. I am able to build special bonds with pets and make them feel safe while their parents are away. I have been pet-sitting for about 8 years, and owners have asked me to return year after year. I currently work full-time at a veterinary clinic in San Antonio. I diligently work to give your pets plenty of attention and bathroom time while I am at your home with them. I provide a morning break, lunchtime break, and at least two afternoon/evening breaks, along with tons of play time. I am off one day during the week and every weekend. I have experience crating/confining pets if needed while I am away from your home. I am able to medicate pets easily. You can trust your pet(s) will be safe when I am away. I believe in giving them plenty of activities to focus on while I am away, including finding hidden treats or working on dislodging treats from toys while crated.

Tia S.
“Tia is the best pet caregiver you could ever ask for. She is reliable, responsive, and patient. Our dog absolutely adores her! She always sent us pictures and videos of our dog being a goofball or to just communicate with us throughout the day. I highly recommend Tia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving caregiver!”
