Frances C.

“Frances was a wonderful sitter and we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy person to care for your pets. Frances was great at keeping in touch with us and sent us the perfect number of updates on Abbey the dog. Abbey can get a little 'Eeyore-y' when we're away but Frances was super patient with her and just let her be her usual sleepy self. It was such a relief knowing someone responsible was watching Abbey. It allowed us to actually enjoy our weekend, stress free. We would happily recommend Frances to any other person looking for a housesitter/walker/animal friend. She was fantastic!”

Abeer A.

“Abeer was extremely easy to work with and took amazing care of both our very spoiled cat and our house. She has superb communication skills and gave many updates with pictures. She put us at complete ease leaving our cat for a long weekend of travel. I cannot recommend her enough!”

Ericka H.

“Ericka calmed all my fears about leaving my reactive pup with her! She sent me lots of pictures and just took such good care of them! My dogs loved Ericka 🥰 (I’m only begrudgingly leaving this review bc I selfishly want to keep her for myself!)”

Truc N.

“Truc was great! Very attentive, considerate and communicative. I recommend her to anyone and will definitely have her watch the dogs in the future.”

Sara R.

“Sara stayed overnight with my dog and did an excellent job. She sent photos and updates. My dog was chill and relaxed when I got home and my apartment was as I left it. Much better than going to a kennel! Thank you, Sara!”

Erica J.

“She was an absolute gem. I had a last minute trip planned, and I had to make arrangements for my two high maintenance dogs. Erica house sat for me last minute and did amazing with my two huskies. When I got home, my huskies were tired (that’s an impressive feat on its own), and my house was clean of husky dust. She definitely didn’t have to sweep and whatnot but she did! I would book her again in a heartbeat.”

Sarah V.

“This is the second time we've booked house sitting services with Sarah and she is the epitome of a professional. She's reliable, communicative and great with our kitty, who always seems relaxed and happy when we come home. Sarah always gives great updates, and is super easy to work with!”

Mackenzie H.

“I'm so thankful for Mackenzi! She was able to step-in to house sit my dog last minute after another Rover house sitter cancelled on their booking halfway through providing their house-sitting booking. Mackenzie provided the care and followed the schedule agreed upon for my dog. I have already booked Mackenzie again for another house-sitting booking and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a house-sitter for their pet.”

Matthew C.

“Matt stayed at our house to watch our foster dog for a weekend, and I believe he may have provided her with the best weekend of her life. He took her to the park, to The Pearl, on a ton of walks, helped with her training, and played with her in the yard a ton. He sent lots of photos and gave us the peace of mind we needed to enjoy a weekend away. The house was tidier than when we left it. Would definitely recommend Matt in the future for all Rover services. He was great!”

Amanda C.
“We had to go out of town while our cat was recovering from a hospital stay. Amanda was able to give him multiple medicines daily and gave us regular updates so we didn't worry. She agreed to stay at our house to monitor him closely and was ready to take him to the animal hospital if needed. We are SO thankful for Amanda taking such good care of our kitty and our dog while we were gone!”

Desirae L.

“Desirae is the best animal care giver I have trusted with my pets. She is genuinely caring for animals, gentle, and enjoys spending time with them. She is detail oriented and ensures that your animals are taken care of and enjoy their experience with her.”

About: As a former middle school educator, I understand that patience and love are key to any interaction. I’ve grown up with pets since I was 8 years old, and I’ve formally dog walked friends and families pets for five years. I keep in touch with all of them as if they were my own. I believe dogs deserve all of the love, patience, and fun. I have experience with small to medium dogs the most, but have also built meaningful relationships with larger dogs. This includes bathing, walking, feeding (and hand feeding), snuggling, and more. My current longest client is 4 years strong and I have even taken them to vet appointments as well as helped the owners research and find the best pet insurance for them. I have also experienced losing a loved dog and know the pain it brings; this reminds me to always give everything I can when in the presence of your fur baby. Whether your baby requires a little more attention or just needs a simple check in, I am here to help and follow your guidelines! BOARDING AND DAYCARE REQUESTS: if you book boarding or daycare in my home, please know I will not have any other pet around. I want to ensure top safety and that your pet receives 100% of my attention. I currently work full time but I am available almost all weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays (except Christmas and NY). I live in an apartment but it is located in a large park with plenty of exercise space and greenery. I will make sure your baby can still receive their exercise and potty time safely! Note to clients further than 12 miles: A $10 travel fee will be added for mileage/gas if you are located farther than 12 miles. When you schedule me, I’ll have plenty of time to be with your fur baby! Please be specific about their needs and yours. I will gladly follow up with any questions to ensure my service is to highest standards. Safety and trust are the utmost priority. While I do have experience with reactive dogs, I truly believe that specific boundaries and safety measures vary on a case by case basis. I will happily review your dogs profile and speak to you to ensure a safe plan is in place before our visit!

Sarah L.

“We’ve booked with Sarah multiple times now! She is our go to sitter. The saints love her so much and our oldest needs extra care and she always helps him out. Sarah is responsive and takes such great care of your dogs! Just like her own.”

Ciria V.

“Ciria is absolutely incredible! She is very communicative, sweet, and reliable. I appreciate how she always keeps me updated on the kitties. Better yet, she has fun with them by giving treats, playing, and dressing them up. We came home to happy, healthy, well-loved kitties which is all you can ask for. Thank you Ciria!!”

Mel G.

“Mel was very professional and did a great job babysitting my dog! Thanks!”

About: I grew up with small dogs, Bob the Pom-Yorkie is 16 and going strong! My sweet girl Indi is three and has taught me so much about how regular walks, watching body language, and building trust improve a dogs life. I’ve done 9 months of personnel dog training so I’m happy to keep up your dogs training or work on new tricks (not a professional trainer). I’ve watched dogs of all sizes and love learning about each dogs unique personality. I am currently a full time student so I have tons of availability for daily walks, house sitting, or just checking in on your furry friend. I am very alert when walking dogs and will never put your dog in a situation they or I am uncomfortable with. If they have a regular route they love to take, let me know! I will respect your home like my own and make sure any house rules for your pets are kept while I am there.

Gabriela G.
About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats since I was around 8 years old. I was in charge of bathing, cleaning, training, and veterinary visits all the way through high school too. I have a deep love for all pets and genuinely miss taking care of those sweet babies! I currently am a full time college student, meaning I have a full schedule on Monday and Wednesday from afternoon to about 6 pm. Every day throughout the week other than those two days, is completely free and available for fun and care of pets! I have a bunch of beautiful parks right outside of my apartment that would be perfect for walks and potty breaks and meeting friendly neighborhood dogs and cats!

Tia S.
“Tia has cared for my both my cat and dog on at least 15 separate occasions, as I frequently travel. She has been reliable, respectful and caring towards my fur babies! 10/10 recommend!”

Diego G.

“This was my first experience with Rover and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I have never left my girl with anyone other than family and I was extremely nervous. He was great. He talked to me on the phone, and came over to meet my Dixie before he actually watched her. She’s a bit skittish but took to him immediately. It was unbelievably comforting. He sent pictures and updates throughout the day and I wasn’t worried for one minute! He was also extremely patient in my learning how to navigate the app in general 😂 thank you again Diego! Dixie waited for you to come back after you left. She made a new bestie FOR SURE.”

Maria B.
“Maria was very friendly and attentive when she first met my German Shepherd, Mia, and was very receptive to her daily schedule. She took good care of her and sent lots of pictures of Mia while they were playing and doing other things. As an aging dog with developing hip problems, Maria knew her limitations but didn't let them pose a barrier to having fun and playing. Maria took initiative with asking questions and was in tune with changes that came up along the way. She was also very respectful of our privacy and treated our home with care. It is obvious that Maria is a dog-lover and interacts well with them through understanding their nuances and quirks, treating them with love as if they were her own. Maria is my go-to when I need someone to look after my dog - I'm glad that I met her and got to know her!”
