About: I have been dog sitting since I was 10. my neighbor had a senior German shepherd i would watch once a month while she went on vacation. I also have my own dog who I have had full care of since she was a puppy. I understand the importance of giving them time and attention while maintaining routine. About: i have taken care of several breeds of dogs from the bichon’s to mastiffs! I have a beagle/shar pei mix who is 12 years old and a pit bull who is 2. We have 4 cats and I am an animal lover through and through! i am a stay at home mom of 2 and so my availability is open typically very flexible!. Up until now I have done this strictly in after work/school hours, but now have much more availability and hope to be able to branch out to more families! I will always respect the home of my client and their animals. We will go over any wants and needs and you don’t have to worry about anything else while you are gone! About: I’ve been taking care of animals my entire life. I first started with chickens when I was growing up and now I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, etc. around 4 years ago I first started a job as a kennel assistant where I would do feedings, lets outs, and even one-on-ones for the dogs/cats that were boarding. I’ve worked in daycare during my time as a kennel assistant as well where I had to determine demeanors and personalities of the dogs attending. 2 years ago I went into the medical side of animal care and became a Veterinary Assistant. I know how to tell when something is wrong with an animal and am able to do the things necessary to help I work full-time currently Monday-Wednesday, and I’m off on Thursdays. Then I work Fridays and am off weekends. On weekdays I have an hour break so I am able to do the let outs I need to during this time. If I am doing at my house care, the first thing I would do is have a meet and greet with my dogs and go from there to make sure they are compatible to stay at my home. If we are doing at my clients house, I would still like to do meet and greets beforehand so I can get to know your animal better. Once that is all done, I would like to know the rules and regulations for feeding times, let out times, and any medical needs that are needed. Dog walking I can only do Thursdays, and weekends but there are a few things I would like to know beforehand. Just the basics on how they do when other dogs are around, what to watch out for, and if there are any rules the dog needs to keep up with.

I have a fenced in yard for my large dog, who is reactive with unknown men, so he has plenty of space to exercise and play! He has a routine of when he is fed, same as my cats. Keeping my dog active is so important and my cats enriched is even more so since they are always indoors.

About: I have worked at a dog kennel since 2021. I had to do 2 months of training before hand. Friends and neighbors have allowed me to babysit their pets as well.
