“I am so happy Dale is part of my life! She takes such amazing care of my kitties and my home. I have had to travel a lot for work lately and I just feel so much better knowing my kitties are being well cared for while I am gone. I am so grateful for her!”

“Sarah was a fantastic sitter! This was our first time booking with her (and first time booking through Rover too), and we were gone for 2 weeks. As anxious cat parents, we get so worried about our boys while we are away, but Sarah eased our worries with every visit. She sent plenty photos every day and kept us updated on what she did when she was spending time with them. Thank you Sarah!!”

“This was my first time using rover and I was definitely a bit nervous at first. However I am so happy and satisfied with my experience with Nicole. Nicole went above and beyond and did all that I asked and then some. She made sure our kitty was well taken care of and loved. I was able to enjoy my vacation in peace knowing everything back home was being handled well. Nicole provided great and prompt communication which was super appreciated and eased all my worries. I know our kitty loved the company and felt safe and happy being cared for by her. Definitely will book again in the future.”

About: I have had a dog since I was three but started to seriously take care of them around the age of 7. In the past three years I have begun to do a majority of the work for my four family dogs. I am currently working part time at Target, and would love to be able to hang out and spend time with animals on my days off! I will spend most of the day with your pet, making sure to give lots of love and attention. Also depending on age and energy levels I will provide the necessary exercise that your pet requires!

“I had a very hectic week ahead of me and Serenity was exactly what I needed. The calm and confidence I felt to tend to my morning tasks. I have no words. And talk about a cat whisperer! Thank you so much!”

I can send pictures and follow any specific instructions you may have. I'm very excited to take care of more pets and start a business in this field. I am available for most last minute needs and can accommodate to your schedule. I look forward to hearing from you and your pets! I have a flexible work schedule which makes it possible to be flexible with taking care of your pets. I can work with you around your schedule. “Melissa went above and beyond during her house sitting for me. She’s communicative, reliable, and she even cleaned my apartment for me, which was extremely kind and appreciated. I trust my cats with her and I would book again with Melissa in a heartbeat.”

“Nicque was so great with my cat Phoenix! He immediately loved her when she came for the meet and greet. He jumped up and sat right on her lap, which he doesn’t even do for my friends that are around quite often! He was definitely relaxed when we got home and it made me feel so relaxed being away knowing that Nicque was there giving him love and taking care of him! I highly recommend Nicque and will definitely contact her in the future if we ever need a sitter for Phoenix!!”

About: Hello! I’ve been loving and caring for local pets for around 25 yrs. Some pets were young pups and kittens; some were older seniors. I specialize in petsitting at my clients homes. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. (We have a lot of rural homes in Auburn area). I’m retired from a construction accounting job. We’re gladly at home most days! My shedule is flexible; if you have an emergency need for pet sitting, I’m your gal. I prefer to petsit at my client’s homes. The animals rather appreciate this. I like to meet the animal(s) before sitting so when I arrive, we have a connection. I give the animals plenty of one-on-one attention. This may include doggy massage to calm them and get to know them. Lots of walks if they like that. Potty Breaks every couple of hours to begin with, as they’re sometimes nervous or have stomach upsets. I’d like to know your favorite names for them, what your routines are, rituals, their favorite things to do. I’ve also stayed with animals after their surgeries to monitor when the owner has to work.

About: As someone who grew up on a farm and winery in the hills of Auburn, caring for animals is nothing foreign to me! Since I could walk I’ve been tending to all sorts of animals, cows, horses, ducks, chickens, birds and of course plenty of dogs and cats. I’ve been a groomer, doggy daycare group leader and trainer for going on five years. I am always eager to find ways to help others take care of their furry friends as it’s always been my passion! I’m working part time at a dog resort as a lodging assistant, groomer, and activities leader. My availability for them is Thursday through Sunday 6-3 however I’m taking a step back from the resort due to driving distance. My other days primarily I am participating in nature walks, river days, rock climbing with friends and working on my music! I’m very energetic and like to be constantly moving! Adventurous to the core For my kitty, she has a schedule. 6 am breakfast, 12 pm lunch, 6pm dinner. If she has medication it’s given first thing in the morning. I de shed her about once a week and get her groomed about every 6 months to a year. She is an outdoor explorer so when I’m taking her out I slip on her harness and collar. I have a travel backpack to take her in for larger adventures too. If I’m gone for longer periods of time I keep her in an enclosed area or have someone care for her.

About: I've taken care of many types of dogs over the past 10 years of my life, from different breed types to different ages/energy levels! I have been around dogs for a large chunk of my life and have been able to provide a great service based on the need of the pet. I have experience with sick/elderly animals and can shift my priorities to simply give comfort if needed. I also enjoy taking my own animals to new safe places to explore and I am excited to be able to do the same for yours! I currently work part-time, so I am available based on your need! Mainly I am available in the afternoon or earlier mornings and am able to provide services on weekdays! I am quite flexible so we can work together based on your needs! I have a fenced yard with two pups to keep your fur baby company! My yard also has two fenced areas to separate pups if needed. I live near multiple parks, some within walking distance! I am happy to crate your dogs or keep them outside/inside based on preference. Enjoying the outside air is also wonderful as it gets nicer out!

About: I grew up on a farm and have had dogs, cats, goats, horses my entire life. I love them! I just recently moved to the Springs with my 13 year old little man, Jack (40 lb whippet/lab). He loves his humans and more importantly, his doggy play dates. I have a nice grassy fenced in backyard and a dog door where they can freely go in and out. I work remotely from home and have the freedom to take him on several walks a day either throughout the neighborhood or on the trails of Palmer Park. This is a fun and perfect dog-friendly oasis for dog-friendly visitors ; ) I work remotely from home and have my own schedule. Your pups will get plenty of care, walks and attention. Bathroom breaks are as often as needed as dogs are free to go in and out through my dog door that leads directly to the fenced in back yard. Jack is my family member and your baby will be treated as such. I have donut beds and pillows, extra crates if needed and a lot of room for them to play. We love our walks and will take your pet with us as often as they'd/you prefer. If I'm coming to you, Jack will stay home unless otherwise specified.

About: I grew up in rural Mendocino County on property with dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, donkeys, geese, chickens... and the list continues! Animals have always been an important part of my life and now I’m blessed to have a wonderful labradoodle (Winston) and 4 cats (Willow, Olive, Precious, Shirley) we rescued from the SPCA, one of whom has only one eye. I work at home, so while Winston spends most of his time sleeping at my feet, he also gets to spend time in our large fenced in dog run where he loves to watch the squirrels and wildlife around our 2 acre country property. In the evenings, we like to take Winston to the creek that borders our property. That is his highest of each day! I look forward to getting to know the pets in our beautiful neighborhood! Please note that we have 4 indoor / outdoor cats that are our loves as well! Please make sure that your dog has proven to be cat-friendly. I work from home, and am available to be with your pup all the time! I get outside with our dog at least a few times each day to enjoy our 2 acre property. I have plenty of time to let your dog in our fenced backyard for potty breaks! I have a fenced yard and a friendly 6 year old dog to keeps yours company. Our dog is mainly inside with us as we work during the day, but he gets plenty of time to be outside too. We have four cats as well, so your dog must be cat-friendly!

“Very nice, calm fellow. Kept in touch regularly. Was just a quick evening, but went fine.”

Celia V.
“I highly recommend Celia to anyone needing an honest, reliable, and loving walker or sitter for their fur babies. She has helped care for all of my cats over the past couple decades, and my beloved partner and helper, an 85lb Labrador who’s been my service dog for 6 years. He is shy and aloof around other people and doesn’t like being away from me. However, he absolutely adores and trusts Celia completely to take him on long lovely hikes so he can get his exercise and sniffy time when I am unable to. Highly recommend Celia, 1000%!”

Cheryl A.
“I highly recommend Cheryl as a dog sitter! She has cared for our 6 year old Malti Poo, Coco, with great care and concern. He has gained better habits just being with her, such as adjusting to other dogs, and not barking when he sees them. Coco gets quite excited when he goes to her house. Cheryl also has 3 teens who take good care of Coco, also. There is a big yard them can go out to, and room to run. I feel comfortable when Coco is left at their house, and I highly recommend Cheryl as a dog sitter!”
