About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs of all sizes and personalities. From raising two pit bulls from puppies through their senior years to currently caring for my energetic husky, I have hands-on experience with all kinds of breeds. Since I was 14, I’ve been the go-to dog walker and sitter for neighbors, friends, and family—trusted to walk, feed, bathe, and even help train their pets. I’m comfortable giving medication, handling senior dogs with special needs, and making sure every pup feels loved and secure. Your dog will be in caring, patient, and experienced hands! I’m currently working an internship at Tesla in Palo Alto, CA, Monday through Friday from 9 to 5. My schedule is flexible because I split my time between working remotely and in the office. This allows me to provide midday walks, evening care, and lots of attention on weekends. I’m available for boarding, walks, and drop-in visits in the afternoons, evenings, and all weekend long. Your pup will always have someone attentive around! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. About: Nestled in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains I will provide a safe relaxing experience for your cat or kitten. I have years of experience with my own cats and kittens and well as years of feral cat and kitten rescue and socialization. Each guest will have their own safe 3 tiered condo with outdoor window views of the mountains. Fresh filtered water in a circulating water fountain. Wet and dry food (Kirkland brand). Sensitive eaters are welcome to bring their own favorites. Litter box changes soon after use. As I live off the beaten path I am happy to provide door to door transportation within these zip codes 95033, 95030, 95010, 95001, and 95073. Shuttle service from Building Blocks preschool parking lot off Summit Rd or Blue Ball park in Soquel is also included. I am a retired graphic designer so am home during days and evenings. Individual care will be provided as needed. I will attend to your cat/kitten as needed throughout the day and night. I only have two cat condos in their own private room right off my kitchen. Your cat will be treated like part of my family. I will only be steps away and any given time to attend to their individual needs.

About: I have been a lifelong dog owner. I can care for a variety of pups from young and energetic to senior pups. I love to take my own dogs on my adventures throughout the Santa Cruz mountains from casual walks to long adventure runs and so I can accommodate whatever your dog needs. Of course love and affection through cuddles is always guaranteed and unlimited. We'll follow their regular feeding schedule and I'll make sure they get plenty of exercise with daily walks, running for high-energy dogs, and lots of mental stimulation. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priority is to maintain their familiar routine. I'll adhere strictly to their feeding schedule, walking routine, and any specific commands they know. If something feels too stimulating or simply isn’t right for your pet, we skip it — no pressure, no push. And if your pup is the stay-home-and-cuddle type? That works for me too. I always ask about behavior, routines, and preferences ahead of time and spend the first day or two getting a read on what your pet is capable of and comfortable with. My goal is to help every animal feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for in a way that honors who they are. I work from home full time! I have several clients but the type of work allows me to be extremely flexible for your pets! I know while some pets can just hang out while I work, others may need more care, enrichment or a closer eye - I can and will accommodate accordingly. Just let me know what your pet needs ❤️ When sitting at your home I prefer to stick to the spaces your pets are most comfortable in or used to as well as stick to a similar routine. I find this helps with separation anxiety and any confusion the pets may have since their favorite human is gone! If possible, I like to take dogs for a longer walk on the first day to help us bond and help me learn how they behave. For other pets, this may look more like a longer playtime, enrichment activity, etc. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible with me in their space so that first day is important to me!

“Nora is a GIFT! About a year ago my now 14 year-old cat Riley abruptly lost a significant amount of weight and bloodwork showed some kind of significant liver event though nothing was evident in an XRAY or ultrasound. He was prescribed two ongoing medications to support his liver & reduce inflammation; a small pill that needs to absorb during a fast (no food for 2 hours before and 1 hour after) and a liquid medication that needs to be given with food. In addition to the with/without food medications complexity, successfully pilling a cat every day requires a deft hand—pretty straightforward for someone who’s good at it, increasingly difficult each day for anyone who isn’t. Add to the equation both Riley and his brother Ash are initially shy with strangers. All things considered to me the situation seemed like a complicated ask for a pet sitter, so over the past year I hadn’t gone away on any trips longer than 2-3 days. In the face of a terminal illness diagnosis in my direct family I came to terms with having to hope for the best using a pet sitter for an 8 day family vacation though I was very concerned about how Riley would be affected by the extended change in routine. Enter Nora; highly intelligent, highly *attuned* (to the pets & the people), instantly trustworthy, and very gracious, a rare combination of total professionalism & grounded compassion. Though Nora was only here for about an hour each day her presence *visibly improved* Riley’s health. I didn’t know it was possible to come home from being away for 8 days to find Riley noticeably fluffier and more energetic than when I left, but that’s the magic that unfolded under Nora’s care. She also sent me pictures of Riley and Ash every day and let me know how they were each doing, sharing her sophisticated curiosity & creativity getting Riley to eat more and Ash to gradually come out of his shyness with clear warmth towards both of them. It’s extremely clear Nora *truly cares* and is keenly observant and exceptionally competent, a combination that made it possible for me to relax so much more on my trip. About: I grew up with dogs, starting at the age of seven! I have learned so much in those years about how to responsibly care for dogs, while making them feel comfortable and loved. One of our family dogs was diagnosed with diabetes, so I am very comfortable giving insulin if that is something you need. After almost 18 years of living with dogs, I've also become comfortable giving eye drops, pills, etc. Aside from dogs, I have had hamsters and guinea pigs and was responsible for the entirety of their care. I also worked for an exotic veterinarian for 1 year. While I did not work with dogs but this position, it increased my confidence when it comes to working with animals in general. I now have my own dog, Remi. He has been a challenge but so wonderful. I feel confident working with very high energy dogs as I now have so much experience with one! He has inspired me to learn as much as I can about dog behavior and body language. I feel confident in support dogs and offering affection, as well as respecting their boundaries. If your dog is friendly and I am taking them for a walk, I’d love to bring my guy along but it’s not necessary! I am currently available every day of the week except Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. If you have need on those days, I may be able to work in the later afternoon/ early evening! I will give lots of attention! I understand that people use rover when they have to be gone for an extended period of time. So I feel it is important to make sure that I am giving your dog as much attention and love as possible. I aim to treat them as you would: focusing on their well-being and safety while also providing a fun and enriching time together.

About: Boarding: I will take your dog walking and to a dog park if needed for exercise. I have ideal outdoor space where I live. I’m very experienced at house / dog sitting, very reliable and responsible. I always clean up after myself at the end of my stay. Only myself will be at your house with your pet/pets. I grew up with a black lab, and have dog sat for friends including when traveling. Mostly all animals like my energy. I’m also very good with cats, fish and also have experience with parrots for house sitting. Boarding: I will mostly be with your dog during the stay. While house sitting I will be in and out of the house throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule. Max time away from the house is 4 hours unless your dog requires more frequent outside breaks due to age. I will take your dog walking, hiking and to dog parks. Any activities in your house are always welcomed. A big plus if your dog like to play fetch with a ball or stick.
