“We had such a great experience with Angeline and her husband. They were great communicating with us about the stay, providing photos, and having Ollie ready so we had a smooth pick up. We even received a cute treat bag. Ollie was happy playing with their pup and slept most of the ride home. It's great being so close to the airport and having an extra person to help if something went wrong. Will book again!”

About: I'm a huge animal lover - big and small! I've had dogs and cats my whole life. We have a sweet cat who absolutely loves every dog that comes through our home. We currently have a Great Dane and Great Pyrenees as well as chickens, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits and fish. I'm all about making sure our babies are happy and healthy and living the best life we can provide to them. After doing much research and lots of experience, I've learned a lot about a dog's language and how to respect them. I will treat your pets as if they are my own and will love on them just the same. I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! Rover is my full time job right now so I’m available to take care of your pup throughout the day as need be, whether that’s just hanging out or a walk or potty break, etc. I have a large fenced in yard and our 2 dogs will gladly keep your pup company and enjoy running around. I can easily crate if need be as well.
“Heidi was the perfect sitter for our dog while we were away! Great care and attention we’re given and we will definitely be back when we are going out of town in the future”

“Michael is just fantastic! He is friendly, communicates and send videos, is loving and caring towards the dogs - we couldn’t ask for a better situation for our dog Duke while we were away! Michael just dropped Duke off to us and he is currently snoring on the couch he is so exhausted and happy from his week. We would highly recommend and will use Michael anytime we go away!”

“Asher M. was a wonderful pet sitter for my two boys! This was the first time that I have ever had anyone, besides family members, watch my two cats. My boys are almost 12, and one is diabetic, but I had no concerns during my trip. Asher stayed in contact with me, gave me his personal cell phone number, and even sent me pictures of my two cats during my trip. I appreciated all of this greatly, and cannot recommend his care enough! Thank you for making my first experience with not only Rover, but also with boarding my two cats anywhere, a smooth and stress free experience. I will book again with Asher M. if I find myself needing another boarding for my two.”

“Friendly and professional. Enough updates that I felt comforted but not pupsick. She was able to keep our needy lab entertained. We came home to a happy, tired dog. She will be our go to for future boarding needs.”

“Anthony is always great at letting me know what my dog Finnegan is doing, I never have to worry. He is also very accommodating, feel very lucky to have him watch my pup!”

“Michelle and Sami were great when they watched my girl, Kira. They treated her like family and sent pictures/updates during her stay. Would highly recommend!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chang! She took care of my dog Archie while I was away on business travel, and from the moment we connected, I felt completely at ease knowing my furbaby was in such loving and capable hands. Chang went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she treat Archie like her own—with so much love, care, and attention—but she was also incredibly flexible when my travel plans were unexpectedly extended. She adjusted without hesitation and gave me one less thing to worry about during a hectic trip. Throughout Archie’s stay, Chang was extremely communicative. She sent regular updates, photos, and sweet messages that showed just how happy and well-cared-for Archie was. It truly meant the world to me to have that peace of mind while being away. I wholeheartedly recommend Chang to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and dependable sitter. She’s an absolute gem, and I hope to always have her care for Archie in the future. Thank you, Chang! 🐾💛”

“Cheryl gives my pup a second home away from home - I could tell from the many pictures she sent that he was comfortable, happy, and loved just like he is with his family. I could not be more pleased. Thank you for being awesome, Cheryl <3”

“Couldn’t be more complementary about Lindsay and her family other than to say that they made Rusty feel like another part of their family. They welcomed him with open arms knowing he had counter surfing issues and separation anxiety. From the photos she sent, it is evident that Rusty enjoyed his stay.”

“This was our puppy's first night away from home and I can't say enough about how reassuring it was to have him at Emily and Patrick's. He loved having another dog to play with. They had mountains of toys to entertain him as well. We got pictures and videos. And, more importantly, they kept him content despite his separation distress. We'll definitely come back to them when we need a dogsitter!”

“Rae and her family really worked hard to make my anxious Bichon, Hope feel at ease.. Hope came from neglect and abuse the first 5 months of her life before we adopted her. She gets anxious with anyone above her trying to pet her, but after a day, her anxieties were minimized and she felt more at home! I appreciate all your love and support with Hope!”
“Esmirna took such wonderful care of our pugs! She has a very calm and soothing presence, which especially helped with our anxiety prone pug. We could tell that Esmirna genuinely enjoyed caring for them. And we could see that our boys loved staying with her via the daily updates with photos! We highly recommend Esmirna!”

“Kate is absolutely amazing! We left our dog with Kate for his first “sleepover” and she went above and beyond to keep us updated the entire time and sent so many photos while we were away on our trip. She took Frankie on tons of walks, played, and he was tuckered out when we returned home to him. Thank you Kate, we will definitely rebook again in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glenwillard
Heidi and her family were just terrific! I would definitely use them again! As with all dog sitters, it’s important to have a pre-understanding of the times that you can drop your dog off and pick them up. Because these wonderful people work and so for example on a Monday morning, I had to pick my dog up either before 7:15 AM or after 10:30 AM. That was absolutely fine with me, but I do recommend that everybody pre-arrange that so there are no surprises. Heidi also kept sending me pictures of my dog and I really appreciated that.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
