“Juliana was a kind and supportive sitter who gave me peace of mind while taking care of my 3-month-old puppy. She was flexible and attentive and I appreciate her help very much ❤️🫶🏻🐶”

About: I got my first dog when I was 11 years old and have loved pets ever since. I've always had doggies and have cared for them with lots of love! I currently work from home as a mental health counselor, and care for doggies and cats as often as I can during my free time. I can prepare your pet's meals, dedicate play time, and take them for walks. I'm a lover of all pets, young and old, big and small.

About: I excel at providing personalized attention and lots of love. I'm patient with puppies and know how to care for older dogs with love and special care. I always treat them like they're part of my family. I'm willing to do video calls to show that everything is okay. I send photos of your pet every day for your peace of mind. I currently work part-time, so I'm available to care for, walk, or play with your pet. I'm available almost every day; just let me know at least a day in advance. ☺️ When I care for pets in a client's home, I make sure to follow their routines and needs to the letter. I'm very observant, patient, and affectionate. I easily adapt to each animal's personality.

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats for over 15 years, including personal pets and others’. This includes pets of all ages, shapes, and sizes, as well as energy levels. I also have experience with dietary restrictions. I currently work full time (9-5) during the week, but work 10 minutes from home and have a flexible schedule to where I could let pets out once or twice during the workday. I work from home on Fridays as well and don’t work weekends. I have a dog-friendly apartment with a run for dogs to relieve themselves, play, and socialize. The surrounding neighborhood is also very walkable and a few minutes drive from local parks.

“Ariana was perfect for the girls! And she was a true compassionate professional as this sit was during some crazy weather in Miami. She comforted the girls and was incredible making them feel at ease. What a great person. She has my highest recommendation. Great communication, mature and just great with my two senior gals!”

About: Hi! I’m Richard Twaits, born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida with over 21 years of pet care experience. When I was just a few years old, my mom found an abandoned Shih Tzu in our neighborhood. We took him in and named him Yankee. He wasn’t the easiest dog—snappy, growled at everyone but my mom, and didn’t let anyone else pick him up. But over time, we formed a bond. We later learned he had been abused before we adopted him, which explained a lot. Slowly but surely, he came to trust us. I’ll never forget the first time he let me scoop him up after chasing a jogger down the street (something that happened more than once!). Yankee taught me that some dogs need time, patience, and love to come out of their shell. He went from biting us as kids to becoming a beloved family member who would cuddle in our laps when he wasn’t feeling well. That experience taught me a lot about pet temperament and trust. As Yankee reached his final days, we adopted Lena, a black standard poodle. After Yankee passed, I quickly realized something wasn’t right with Lena. A vet diagnosed her with Addison’s disease—a rare hormonal imbalance. Without a monthly injection, her muscles would collapse from exhaustion. I even had to rush her to the ER once. That experience taught me how critical it is to stay on top of medications and chronic health issues. I take that responsibility very seriously. After Lena began declining far too early, we rescued Gigi, a golden retriever/chow mix. The two were adorable together—Gigi trying to gnaw on Lena’s legs as a teething puppy, and Lena tolerating it with quiet elegance. After Lena’s passing, Gigi became my baby. She’s now almost 13, but I keep her active and healthy. As an athlete myself, I’m very disciplined with her care: daily walks, playtime in our huge backyard, and lots of love. I also care for my dad’s pitbull/lab mix when he’s out of town. I helped raise her from puppyhood, so I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and energy levels—from snappy seniors to energetic puppies. I take pet care seriously. I’ve worked as a Big 4 CPA auditor (60–80 hours a week—I get how hard it is to balance life and pet care). That’s why I’m here—to help you provide your dog with the love, exercise, and attention they need while you’re at work, traveling, or simply recovering. I've also had to protect my pets in intense situations. At a dog park, I once had to physically unhook a pit bull’s jaws from my Gigi. Another time, I defended her from a small dog that torpedoed out of a neighbor's yard. I never use violence against animals; I love them all. But I’ve learned how to react quickly and prioritize safety for every dog involved. I’m always aware of my surroundings and cautious on walks to protect pets from traffic, off-leash dogs, or surprises around the corner. I’m 6’4”, 225 lbs—what you might call a gentle giant. I’ve got a firm but caring touch, and I’ve found that dogs tend to trust me quickly. No dog is too big or too small for me. I’ve cared for the pets of neighbors, family, and friends for many years, and I’d be honored to care for yours, too. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets under my care the time, attention, and activity they need throughout the day. Whether it's early morning walks, midday playtime, medication schedules, or evening routines, I’m able to fully accommodate a pet’s needs. I also stay active myself, so daily walks, backyard play, and consistent hydration are already part of my lifestyle. Pet care isn't something I squeeze in—it's something I plan my day around. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for any pet, whether in my home or yours. I always take time to understand each dog’s unique needs, personality, and boundaries before beginning care. In your home, I treat the space with respect, follow all instructions carefully, and maintain routines to keep your pet comfortable and stress-free. I'm alert on walks, avoid unsafe or crowded areas, and always keep pets securely leashed unless in a fully fenced space with permission. If I'm caring for a pet in my home, I make sure the environment is calm, clean, and pet-friendly—free from hazards and tailored to the dog’s energy level and comfort. I also have a large, secure backyard that allows for safe outdoor play and exercise. I’ve dealt with everything from high-anxiety rescues to medical conditions requiring medication, and I bring a calm, confident presence that helps dogs feel safe. Whether it’s administering meds, protecting pets from off-leash dogs, or recognizing signs of stress, I act quickly and responsibly.

About: Hello, my name is Audra. I have two cats and a dog of my own and I definitely know how it feels when I'm about to go out of town and leave my beloved pets in the care of someone else. Needless to say, it can be stressful leaving them behind and I know it makes me feel better having someone in my home that will make them feel safe. It's important to know they are being cared for by someone reliable and trustworthy. I am very much a animal lover and although I focus on mostly cats and dogs, I can care for your bird, hamster or any other furry friend you have too. I will take care of your pets as if they are my own. I will feed them, walk them, talk to them, and play with them giving them much love. Overall, just making sure they are well taken care of while you are away. I can even offer a small amount of dog training if necessary.

About: I am a huge animal lover. My family and I are big on rescuing animals so we have always had several dogs and cats in the house ranging from teacup poodles to labradors. I have stayed overnight at friends, family, and coworkers homes to take care of their pets. I have 5 years of experience in overnight boarding since my parents own a dog grooming business. I am looking forward to being your pets new best friend. They are in good hands! I work from home Wednesday through Thursday for daycare boarding. I am also available over the weekends for overnight boarding. Whatever your needs are,let me know! If your pet will be at my home, there are two cats that are acclimated to dogs and are very friendly. If you need the dog to be in a crate, please let me know and that’s something we can work out. Otherwise they will be allowed to roam freely onto the couch or bed for cuddles as they please. I will take them on daily walks and feed them based on their schedule. If I will be caring for your pet at your home, I will follow whatever your pet is used to in terms of walking, feeding, being in the crate, or being on furniture.

About: I’ve been doing doggie sitting for approximately a decade and officially on Rover since 2021. Our teens love dogs but at this stage in our life I (mom) is not willing to get us a pet- we have lots of love to give but we want to maintain our flexibility for travel. This is what makes Rover and excellent fit for us! I am a nurse who works until approximately 3p and I alternate hospital/home work environment. Our high school aged kiddos love nothing more than coming home to play and show your doggie lots of love! We exercise every afternoon- we are a triathlete family and love staying active, thus walking and playing outdoors with your pup would be an utter joy for us. We have a single family home with fenced in spacious back yard for your pup to explore. Front yard as well and healthy and active gated community with a park/playground near by which we frequently walk to and play in. We can and will implement any needs for your pet to make him feel right at home. We have old-ish laminate flooring and we certainly dont mind the occasional accidents that come with pets exploring and adjusting to new environments. We can adjust to almost any per routine due to our flexible work schedules. We want this time apart to be as seamless as possible for your pup and his/her family. I do not currently have any pets in our home and thus our attention and care will be fully on your pup. Siblings are always welcomed together of course!

“Pia was the perfect sitter. Super affectionate with our dog, always on time and schedule, sent tons of photos and left the house super clean when she left. We’ll be booking her again and again and again!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is how quickly I bond with every dog I care for. I’ve dog sat for families before, and those pups truly became part of my family too. I make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe, and loved, even when their people are away. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. Whether it’s giving extra cuddles, playing their favorite games, or just making sure they feel at home, I put my heart into making every furry friend feel special and loved I’m going into my senior year at the University of Miami and have a flexible schedule with mostly night classes and no classes on Fridays. That gives me plenty of time during the day to care for pets, go on long walks, or just spend quality time making sure they feel loved and happy. My university is pet friendly, so when I’m not in class, I love taking study breaks to walk dogs or play with them —it’s the best way to break up my day and keeps me and the pups happy! Pet care is truly the highlight of my routine, and I always make time for it. When I’m walking dogs or house sitting at a client’s home, I always make sure to follow the routine their dogs are most comfortable with depending on what their owners tell me! I know how important it is for pets to feel safe and stick to their normal schedule, especially when their family is away. I make sure they get plenty of time to play, walk, and get their energy out, along with lots of love and attention so they never feel lonely. My goal is to keep them happy, loved, and relaxed until their family comes home!

“Janessa was a lifesaver! She took care of our 11-year-old Shih Tzu at our apartment during the holidays for 7 days (house sitting). Our dog is a little picky, but he got along with Janessa right away, as if she were one of the family. She sent us pictures and videos during our time away from home, which helped us manage our anxiety about leaving him behind. Janessa also prepared Guapo’s meals according to our instructions and ensured he maintained his daily routine. She is very respectful and easy to talk to. Guapo was well taken care of, kept very safe, and she was extremely responsible in handling things at our apartment. We returned to a happy dog and a clean, orderly home. Thank you, Janessa! We truly appreciate your help with Guapo. 🤗🙏🏼🐶♥️”

“I’m so grateful to Patty for stepping in last minute to house sit and take care of my American Bulldog, Pepper. She had boarded Pepper before, but this time I felt it would be better for Pepper to stay in her own home to avoid separation anxiety. Having someone she already knew and loved made all the difference. Patty was absolutely the right choice. I came home to a happy dog and a clean, well-cared-for home. It was such a relief to know everything was in good hands while I was away for work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Patty to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter. She truly goes above and beyond.”
