“Rebecca was amazing! She watched my 3 bunnies (yup, bunnies) for a week and took great care of them! I’m pretty sure they weren’t all that excited to have me back ?. It only did she feed them, she changed litter boxes, spent time socializing, let me know when the house was a little warm (during this insane heat wave), went to the store and bought more fresh greens, took amazing photos, and gave them adorable treat bags. I will 100% be rehiring her when we need to leave town again. Bunny parents- shes’s your woman!”

I have found that hosting one family’s pets at a time leaves me with more time to spoil and help your pets settle in! I love gaining new experience in pet care, I have watched newborn puppies, kittens, and even ducks! I have a senior pug, he has been with me since I started kindergarten! I absolutely adore senior dogs due to my experience with him, they hold a special place in my heart. My background also includes time at the Riverside Animal Shelter, where I trained dogs and made sure they were well-socialized, and ready to be adopted. I am a college student, working towards a masters degree! Working for Rover allows me to go to school and also work from home! I always enjoy having a pet by my side, as I like to stay busy throughout the day. I take walks in the mornings and evenings, I would love for your pet to come with me! I do have crates available but will not utilize them unless I absolutely need to step out of the room. If your pets are crate trained it definitely makes things easier for me! I always provide attentive care for pets in a very secure environment, I have a doggy door leading to a fully fenced and shaded backyard. I always go outside with the dogs despite it being fenced in. For particularly smaller dogs, I tend to keep them on leash for potty breaks. This gives me, and also the owners reassurance that their pets are never in any dangerous situations. I find it makes a dog’s transition less stressful if they have already become acquainted with my dog and I. I always like to schedule a meet and greet prior to their stay, with no extra dogs added into the mix later. I currently have a 16 year old pug mix being my main source of knowledge surrounding senior dogs. Caring for his needs over the years has made me a very mindful pet owner, he is very important to me. I never let any dogs outside on their own at night, of course potty breaks at any time are always allowed! At night they will be provided on leash potty breaks, due to coyotes and wildlife in the area. Your dogs will stay by my side during boarding, if they are well groomed they are allowed to sleep with me on the bed. I love having the company with me, I also find it’s usually the most comfortable option for new guests.

My husband and I went on vacation during the midst of Hurricane Hillary and Andrea went above and beyond to ensure our babies were safe and taken care of! With our permission, she boarded our kitties to her home so they wouldn’t be left alone during the hurricane. She made sure they were well fed and comfortable, even bringing their favorite toys and kneading blankets with her. I’m so so grateful for Andrea and her attentiveness. About: Thank you for considering me for your pet care needs. My name is Brittany, I also go by Bee. Aside from growing up caring for a variety of animals, I have experience as a pet care associate, and as an adult I’ve had my own dogs, cats, and fish to dote on. Healthy, happy pets cared for with responsible safety practices is my main priority. I am receptive to special accommodation and am comfortable administering medications if needed for our older/sick furry friends. I’m more than happy to take energetic pets on walks, runs, and active play sessions. I am a full-time supervisor at a cafe in Ontario. I get my schedules on a week-by-week basis, so I will regularly update my calendar. If your request is in advance of 3 weeks, I will try to accommodate schedule preferences with work. If I’m unable to, I will keep in communication with you. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your furry family members! My cafe is open 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Usually I am off around 8:00 PM. If I am taking care of your pet before or after work, I will need at least a one hour window between leaving for or from work. If I am house sitting on days I work, I will have to be out of the house for an eight hour period. This of course depends on each circumstance, but generally I make sure your pet uses the restroom, has a walk, and has breakfast prior to starting my day (if house sitting). If I am working, I make sure they have everything they need before I leave (water, toys, maybe a snack on the way out). For walks, I am very proactive about keeping owners updated on how things are going. I love to take pictures of pets and get their best angles while we enjoy our time outside. I make sure all walking equipment is put away and that your pet has water before I leave (if it is a contactless pickup/drop-off). If I’m doing a drop-in visit, the same would apply.

About: Hello! I am currently a fourth year undergraduate student at Pepperdine University. I am currently attending school while majoring in biology in hopes of pursuing the pre-veterinarian career path. I have had animals my entire life growing up, whether it’d be dogs or chickens or hamsters! I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I have some experience working with animals in a professional setting, as I have volunteered and continue to volunteer at the Inland Valley Humane Society near my place of residence at the beginning of this summer. I have also had my own dogs growing up, but I love all animals! I currently have my own dog, Mia, who is a Pitbull, at home, and I also have a cat, Pickles, who stays with me at school! I am on summer break but I do work full-time! I have three days off in my week that I’d love to make time for your fur babies. I always am sure to take care of any animals as if they were my own!
