“Christopher, thank you so much for taking care of Wyatt this last week and for all the daily pics and updates. I feel like he really loved his time with you and your pets. It was probably a much more social environment for him that has been a positive experience for him. Thank you!”
“Colby and David were great! They provided many photos of our dog during our time away. They had a great house and backyard for our dog’s needs. We felt at ease our entire trip and will hope to leave our dog with them again!”
“I highly recommend Colleen and her family to care for your beloved pets. Our two dachshunds spent over a week in the loving care of Colleen’s family while we were on vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our dogs were treated like royalty. They stayed right in the house with the family, cuddled on the couch, sat on their laps, and even got to sleep with Colleen’s wonderful son. It was clear they were loved and cared for as if they were part of the family. Throughout our vacation, Colleen sent us photos and updates of our dogs, which gave us such peace of mind. When we picked them up, they were happy, healthy, relaxed, and completely at home with Colleen and her family. If you’re looking for someone who will love and care for your pets as if they were their own, I wholeheartedly recommend Colleen. We are so grateful for the exceptional care she provided and will absolutely trust her with our dachshunds again.”
“Could not give them enough five star reviews! Genuinely the best people to take care of our dog! They always make sure Kelce is having fun and are super accommodating! Highly recommend Rich and his family!”
“Excellent care and courteous communication! Pictures and video updates were comforting to receive and greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Karen for your pet boarding needs and would definitely reach out to her again for our Ladybelle. Thanks again Karen!”
“Amy was absolutely awesome to our dog! We left him with her while we went to a lake resort for the weekend and when we picked him up we could tell he had a great time.”
“Melissa was amazing! She sent pictures and updated us throughout our trip. My dog seemed happy and comfortable in their house. He truly was loved this weekend. I would recommend Melissa to anyone!”
“This was our first time and Harley loved being there! They were amazing providing updates, pictures and videos showing the great time he was having. We look forward to our next stay.”
“Vanessa was great with our girls. She was extremely communicative during their stay and sent pics to ensure we knew the girls were enjoy themselves. When we picked up Paisley and Izzy they were happy.”
“Ellie looked very happy and comfortable with Bob and Vicky. She loved the large backyard to run around and relax in and enjoyed her daily walks. They treated her as if she was their own pet. She quickly warmed up and was comfortable around Jax. Based on the daily videos and pictures we received from Bob and Vicky we enjoyed our vacation because we knew she was in a safe and loving home.”
“Gabrielle was so wonderful to work with when it came to communicating with us on status of our animals. She gave me a peace of mind while I was away that they are in good hands and having fun! Will definitely seek out her services in the future!”
“Katelyn took excellent care of Bella when she cared for her overnight at her house. Bella hasn’t stayed the night many other places and she was able to settle in. I would definitely keep Bella with Katelyn again.”
“Our dog loved her stay at Tahirah's. She had another cocker spaniel to play with and she loved being part of a family for a couple of days. Tahirah took great care of her--she has a medical condition and needed to have her eyes cleaned and when we picked her up she looked great. I would highly recommend Tahirah for an older dog who needs loving and gentle care.”
“Kayla took such good care of our dogs when we boarded them at her house! She sent photos every day and I got several updates on how they were doing while I was out of town. It made me feel much more comfortable leaving them with her family knowing they were taken care of and loved. We left them with Kayla and it happened to be over Halloween and she even got our little dog a costume and sent pictures (I'm one of those people so I loved it). I would HIGHLY recommend trusting Kayla with your dogs and we will definitely be using her services again!”
“Ashley, Charles and her wonderful family were the BEST!! This was the first time I had boarded my dog and it was an exceptional experience. They took great care of Ricky Ricardo and sent pictures and updates the entire time. I will use them again and Ricky can't wait to see Ashley, Charles and her family again! I highly recommend!”
“Michelle and Robert were absolutely amazing with our pup! They went above and beyond - sending frequent updates and even sent home a personalized gift. Thank you for taking care of our baby! He loved it.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Givens Hot Springs home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Givens Hot Springs.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Givens Hot Springs sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
