“Colleen and her family were amazing! They took my dog in for a whole week as part of their family. I think my dog enjoyed herself so much that she slept for almost two days for recovery. She made drop off and pick up easy and it was overall a great experience!!”

“This was my first time using Rover, and Karen made the whole experience great! I’m happy we found her. She was wonderful with Coco and took great care of her while we were away. Her regular updates and photos were really appreciated, and it was great knowing Coco was in good hands. We’d definitely recommend Karen and would absolutely have Coco stay with her again if needed. Thank you, Karen!”

“This is Teddy’s second time being watched by Tina and he had a blast. She provided daily updates and pictures and took such good care of him. He loved hanging out at her house and running around in the backyard. I would definitely recommend her to any friends that need a dog sitter. Thank you, Tina!”

“Jillian and her family were wonderful with our dog. They incorporated him into their lives and he had a great stay and was even sad to leave. While it was great to get home, he missed her kids and all their attention. I would definitely recommend Jullian.”

“Katelyn was great with my Layla & Ginger! She was very responsive and sent pictures. I could tell from the pictures my dogs were being well cared for. I will certainly allow Katelyn to keep my dogs again!”

“She was great with our pups, and very quick to respond. She also gave updates, and we didn’t have to worry. I know my dogs had a great time, because they were pooped when they came home for a day. That never happens 💕”

“Beth did an amazing job with my 5 month old golden doodle. This was my first time leaving her but with Beth’s daily photo/video updates, my anxious heart was put at ease. Millie was happy when I picked her up. I will be using Beth again. 10/10! Thank you so much Beth!!!!”

“Boarding my dog with Amber was a very good experience. Amber sent pictures and updates throughout his stay and I felt confident he was being cared for. I recommend Amber for you dog boarding needs.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and currently have a German Shorthaired Pointer of my own, so I’m very familiar with puppies, high-energy breeds, and dogs who need plenty of exercise, attention, and structure. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, crate routines, basic commands, and sticking closely to your pup’s normal schedule. I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your dog, and I’ll treat yours like my own, with lots of love, attention, and photo updates along the way! I work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention. I already structure my day around my own pup, so pet care fits naturally into my routine. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends and can be flexible depending on your pet’s needs! I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your pet. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide. I have a friendly German Shorthaired Pointer and a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to play. I’m also comfortable with crates and can accommodate your dog’s normal routine, whether that means lots of activity or some quiet time to relax.
“My dog had so much fun at Nicole’s house while we were out of the town. She took good care of my dog and was very responsive and kind to send me some photos and updates on him. I’d recommend her!! :)”

“She and her family took great care of our Daisy! They have a nice home with a fenced yard for playtime. Daisy clearly had the time of her life, and I got at least one picture a day of her antics! Definitely will book again!”

“Once again, another wonderful Rover week for Riley! We feel so confident that he's being well cared for when we go on vacation. Definite peace of mind. Thank you Aimee and Derek!”

“Amanda was a perfect sitter for my hunting dog Wrigley. Given all the exercise she needed, Wrigley was allowed to socialize/play with Amanda’s two golden retrievers, was fed well, and was thoughtfully protected from the summer heat. This included early morning walks before the heat of the day. Amanda provided photos, videos and feedback to keep me apprised of Wrigley’s overall health, allowing me to more fully enjoy my time away. Wrigley quickly became part of Amanda’s family, and I am confident Wrigley received the best care possible. I highly recommend Amanda for your dog sitting needs.”

“Michelle was a total lifesaver. I was already out of state when the other sitter (who is thought was a friend) backed out of watching him, not even 36 hrs into the stay. She claimed he attacked her kid unprovoked, and attacked her dog unprovoked. I knew that I wasn't getting the whole story or I was just getting lies- she even left a dent and a scratch on my car to out of spite. But Michelle came in a blazing glory. She went an picked up Axle and other was such a perfect fit. Even when my pup Supermanned over a baby gate, she didn't fuss, just came up with a solution to the problem. Michelle is the sweetest. I will definitely be going back to her every year on my out of state trips. I can't recommend her enough. Sent me pictures amd updates everyday, and didn't get annoyed by how many times I checked in with Axle. It was 100% last minute boarding, and she pulled through!”

“DiDi had such a wonderful time these past few days! 🥰 He looked so happy and had so much fun. Thank you so much for taking such great care of him and treating him like family. I really appreciate all the love and attention you gave him. Highly recommend! ❤️🐶”

“She was so great with Rambo!! I always get nervous leaving my dog somewhere new, but she reassured me and took such good care of him. We will be going back. Thank you!”

“Ann was wonderful! Very responsive and attentive to our pups. With their veterinary backgrounds, we felt so at ease knowing they were in good hands. The best part was they allowed the pups on their furniture which is what they’re used to, it was a touch we sure appreciated. Thank you so much for all the love you provided our pups!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Warrens
Kaysha is great I feel like after 5 years using her for our dog sitter that her dogs are now cousins with our dog because we don’t even consider booking with anyone else when we take our annual vacation or some other trip. My dog loves going there and when she comes home we can tell that she had as good or better time than we did on vacation. Also, we don’t have kids but our dog loves kids so this gives her a chance to be round kids as well as other dogs. Also, you could not ask for better communication, we get updates even when there is really nothing to report just letting us know how our Goose is doing and what she has been up to. Booking and coordination are also fantastic!

95% of sitters in Warrens can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Warrens home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Warrens.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
