Rich and his family were wonderful with my crazy boy, who was very happy when i.picked him up (a tell-tell sign he had a great time!). I was only visiting in their state and when my schedule did a flip flop Rich was so flexible and understanding it took a lot of stress off of me. Being a sitter myself I know dogs act different with different people, and Rich gave me some feedback of how Lyric was for him (like that he jumps 4' fences. He normally only jumps if we tell him or if he is trying to get to me) - and Rich amd the family handled it well. Your dog is welcome in our home and on our furniture, and will be treated as one of our own. I have solid fencing on 3 sides of my backyard, with a metal fence on one side. (4 feet high with 3 3/4 inches between the vertical rails.) I will supervise your dog in the yard or take them outside on a long lead, as needed. I appreciate clear instructions on how you would like your pet cared for, and I will follow them respectfully. Does your dog have a favorite toy? Are there specific training guides you would like reinforced? Do they prefer to play alone or with other dogs? About: We have two high energy dogs that require regular exercise so I understand how hard it is to find a sitter who can meet that need. While your best friend is with us they can expect to get an off leash, 3-5 mile adventure every other day. I am trained and comfortable with an e collar but if your dog does not have good recall, no worries, I always carry a long line. Our home is best suited for medium to large dogs. I am a stay at home mom with 2 large dogs of my own. My dogs need regular off leash walks so you can expect your dog to get out plenty while with us. I have a large, fenced in yard. Currently I own and did most of the training for my 2 dogs named Luna (a white husky), and Gus (a chocolate lab/blood hound). I also have Heffley (a leopard gecko). My blood hound has medical needs due to having severe allergies and stomach issues, resulting in me now having experience in medicine administration, medicine injection, and dog first aid. I currently work at 9 AM to 5 PM job and can make it home around 12 PM to 1 PM for a lunch break to take the dog to the bathroom and/or a walk. This would make it so the pet will go 4 hours between potty breaks Monday-Thursday if a potty break midday is needed. I have full availability on the weekends.
