About: I've had dogs my whole life up until our two passed away in the last two years. We were so lucky they lived to be 15 and 16! Couldn't have asked for more. I have had cats my whole life too! We absolutely love our little Mink. I also own two cows and am comfortable with feeding livestock, Please reach out for details! I used to volunteer at the Santa Cruz Animal Shelter in the dog area. I have no problem with dogs of different sizes and breeds, I know how tough it can be to leave our pets and I hope to provide some relief so you can enjoy time away knowing your pets are safe and happy. I'm a stay at home Mom and my schedule is quite flexible, especially while my two boys are in school. Monday thru Friday between 8am to 2pm. I'm also available for evenings check in and feedings. Weekends also! My schedule will be updated with my availability. I am able to go to my clients home and take care of your pets. I will make sure they have everything they need in your absence. Please let me know about any medications, special treats or behavior I should be aware of.

5. Jessica B.
“I would recommend Jessica for anybody looking. I have a 3 month old puppy and when i’m busy and not able to tend to him she does an amazing job looking after him. She always keeps me updated on him, if I tell her how to do something when watching him, she fulfills it, and I trust that she cares for him. If you are looking for a dog sitter Jessica is the one and can be trusted.”

“Rubi is one of the best people in the world. Period. Extremely kind and selfless. She works with children which all come to adore and love her. As far as pets; Rubi not only cares for her own dog, she has also found and rescued two kittens. One of those kittens is now a part of my family as I adopted him after Rubi nursed him back to health. Leaving your furbabies with Rubi is leaving them in the most caring and safe hands. I trust her with my life.”

About: I’ve had a dog and cared for it for 19 years. Over the years I’ve learned that dogs communicate everything they need with just their eyes. I’m currently an Uber driver so I have control over my schedule everyday and plan to rotate from Uber to this job. I’m available any time from Sunday to Friday. I cared for my dog who recently passed everyday. I would take him out on a walk every morning and evening and checked his paws and body for any injuries. I made sure to give him the right toys for his size. I made sure his character was normal in case of any possible sicknesses. I made sure there weren’t any little things on the floor that he could possibly swallow.
13. Julie G.
“Julie took great care of our dogs while we were away. Our dogs are quite a handful! She was very responsive to our requests. She even checked in on our cat while she was visiting. We loved the updates and pictures on the Rover Cards. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’m a certified groomer, although I haven’t kept up the practice. I can bath brush do nails and anal glands. Ive worked at boarding/daycare facilities the last 7 years and have dogs of my own. I’ve medicated, fed and looked after 90+ dogs at my past jobs. Ive kept track and took notes on dogs/cats health and if they were eating and going potty every day. Big, small, senior pups who need extra care to dogs, puppies with a lot of energy, dogs who are prone to seizures, cats, the nice and the fiesty ones. I’ve dealt with dog aggressive dogs and shy, stand off-ish dogs. I’m patient as well. I am currently Looking for part time work, and still wanting to be around animals, of course with my own schedule, so this made sense. I have a 16year old chihuahua/terrier mix. Who’s going blind and needs extra care and patience sometimes. I also have. 2 year old puppy who needs lots of playtime and attention. I multitask and do what I have to every day to make sure they both get what they need. Vet visits and meals and any medications, I take care of it myself. Attention to detail is important. I also groom th myself, bath brush nails and a haircut every now and then.

About: I’ve taken care of many different cats since childhood. Feeding, water changes, litter changing, nail clipping, baths, playtime, and petting is all a part of what I do and have done for my cats and others :). I don’t have much dog experience besides being around friends and families dog’s, but I hope to get more familiar with wagging tails! I’m currently working part time as I balance work, school, and life at home. My schedule leaves me some time to do what I love most, getting in my steps and caring for mine as well as other’s fur babies. I’d enjoy to be your pup’s and/or kitten’s new adventure! I do not offer sitting in my own home due to the well-being and stressful situation it may bring mine and your pet, but I would love to care for your pet in the safety of their own home :). I believe cats and dogs do best in an environment they feel secure & comfortable in, so I do my best to accommodate and fulfill that need.
19. Shirley R.
“Shirley was very good with my 9 year old Siberian husky. Shirley was also able to work around my schedule which work out good for both of us. I would recommend Shirley for good pet care.”
20. Melisa R.
About: I always knew I wanted to work with animals ever since I was little. I grew up with taking care of chickens and pigs then got a job in the field. I’ve been in the vet field for over 10 years. From dog boarding to critical care in the ICU. I only work 3-4 days a week with 10 hour shifts and get off at 2:30 the latest. So most of my time is free for pet sitting. If I were to have a pet at my home it would be completely safe as both my front and back yards are completely fenced off.
