So I have experience in taking care of puppies because I helped my dog give birth. About: Over 20 years as a dog owner. I'm semi-retired. I've been watching friends' and friends of friends' pets for years. I've been the only house/dog sitter for a pair of Dalmatians for the last 5 years. I've handled puppies that are still working on becoming housebroken as well as senior dogs that need regular medication and extra care. I do in-home tech support/ IT work. When a customer's animals have warmed up to me, I've been asked if I did pet sitting as well. It feels good when the pet picks you. My working schedule is very flexible, I'm usuably able to adjust it to make sure I'm available to see to your pet's needs. If I commit to caring for your critters they will be my scheduling priority. I don't have pets in my own home. When house/pet sitting, besides feeding, walking and picking up after the pets I'm capable of handling household issues that might come up.

I'm currently working as a teacher in the Gilroy area and am free to are for your pets after 245 pm and before 830 am. I have a fenced yard at home where my dogs are free to come in as they please to certain areas of the house until I get home with the access of their dog door. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

I keep the dogs in the house when I'm working, and there are plenty of couches for the dogs to curl up on and nap. At night, the dogs sleep in a crate inside the house. I'd prefer to use your crate to make your dog feel more at home, but I have a small and large crate available for dogs that don't have one.
