About: My veterinary assistant experience with small and large animals sets me apart as I keep a close eye on your animal’s health and well-being. I am not easily spooked, but I want your pet to receive the best care I can give. I am not a trainer, but I am comfortable dealing with some pets with behavioral issues. I am looking to pet sit for people who are going on a short trip or need routine weekend care. I can be flexible with week nights, but it will need to be established well in advance. I usually crochet or draw when I care for lower-energy animals, and love playing with those with more energy. I am a no-shoes-in-house kind of person, and can bring separate house shoes if preferred. I am no stranger to cleaning up pet accidents. I keep to the living areas of the home, unless the pets are kept elsewhere, and provide a quiet presence for more introverted or timid animals. I ensure to adhere to the idea of "leave no trace", as though your home is the natural habitat for your pets.

I am experienced in administering medication to dogs, please just let me know what you need. I’m vigilant when it comes to training and management. I understand consistency is everything for our dogs, especially with our adolescent dogs and dogs that struggle with anxiety, so please if your dog has a strict schedule, specific rituals, or training/rules you're trying to implement with your dogs - sitting when greeting strangers, crate training, one long walk before bed - let me know!! I will definitely work with you on it. I just moved to the area and don’t really have a routine right now! Let me know how I can help, I am flexible and will work with you. Having just moved in, we’re not having visitors over for the moment while we get everything unpacked. But I will be respectful of your home if you require services there, and as long as you let me know what you need for your dog, I’ll do my best to meet your expectations.
