“I recently broke my foot and ankle. I can’t walk my dog Auggie. Stumbling across Renee’s ad on Rover has been a miracle. She comes twice a day. Auggie has major trust issues, noise reactivity issues and anxiety. To say the least he adores Renee and I trust her with him. To me she’s been a large part of my peace of mind with my best friend being taken care of.”

“Reliable and loving care. Megan has a very calm demeanor, perfect for our energetic pup. And she took great care and sent us updates and pics for every walk. Very happy with how well it went.”

Have raised kittens into adult cats, and have much experience caring for predator/prey pets within the same household. I am no stranger to exotic pets, experience in caring for guinea pigs, snakes, and fish. Learning about animal husbandry is my hobby, lending to lot’s of knowledge about care for various species such as bunnies, hamsters, ferrets, bearded dragons, and more! I have wanted to become a pet sitter since i was 8 years old. 13 years later, i’m hoping that with your help, I can make this dream a reality. I’m taking college courses online, so my schedule is extremely flexible! If there are any services not listed that you are interested in, please reach out! I’m able, ready, and willing to work with pet parents to achieve their dreams! I build safety and trust with clients through clear, honest, and open communication. I will be upfront about what I can and cannot do. I build trust with the pets by following their lead. I read body language to determine the boundaries shared by the pet, and respect them. Above all, I strive to foster a warm and welcoming environment that prioritizes not only the safety of every living creature involved, and their happiness and joy, too!

About: I've grown up with, owned, and taken care of pets for as long as I can remember—old mellow dogs, fluffy young kittens, feisty chickens—you name it! The challenge of learning each pet's unique personality and needs has always fascinated me as a caretaker. I love getting to know them and building trusting relationships to give them the best quality of life possible. I’m a retired engineer looking for pet caretaking opportunities to keep life fun and adventurous! My wife, Stephanie, and I currently own one dog and two cats. Our home is in a wooded area with a fully fenced backyard. Pets that board with us have the option of private, single-level living, or they can share the house with us. We also have a standalone pet wash and dry station if pet washing services are something you're interested in. We’ll cater to their needs and ensure they are content and comfortable. I’m also an avid walker and hiker, and I love getting outside whether it’s rain or shine. For dog walking and pet visits, I enjoy heading to local parks (Cypress Creek and Lake Waterford are my go-tos) or patrolling the neighborhood for any new sights and smells. I am a house husband with one dog and two cats. The pets are the focus of my daily routine. My dog and I go to the park every morning and walk the neighborhood at night. Any dogs that I board become part of our family routine. If they are comfortable they can join us on trips to the park and walks around the neighborhood. If they prefer solo time then I will take them on dedicated trips to the park and walks! I have a dedicated room for dog and cat boarding that is separate from the rest of the home where our dog and cats reside. Any boarding guests can use that private space or can join the other animals in the other parts of the house if they are comfortable. Our fenced in backyard and dog grooming station are on the same level as the dedicated boarding space.

About: I grew up in a family that loved animals, and had cats and dogs my whole life. From tiny Pekingese to big St. Bernard. My love of animals knows no bounds. I currently have a remote work position that allows me to do my day job anywhere there is an internet connection, while being extremely flexible to things like take walks/attend appointments during the day. Animals are something I love that makes my life fuller so I thought this is a great way to make extra cash, get outside more, and hang out with cute pets. Going into your home I will make sure to follow whatever instructions you have laid out for me. For many animals routines can be extremely important so I will do my best to make sure that your home environment is care for and left exactly as you have instructed. I am great at following directions!
