I can't recommend Ryan highly enough! No one is going to take better care of your best friend. For more than a decade, Ryan has cared for our dogs, and I truly believe our Golden Retriever loves him even more than she loves us. The excitement on her face every time she sees him says it all. Ryan won't just walk your dog—he will treat your furry friend like a member of the family. Because our Golden Retriever loves meeting people, Ryan often takes her along when he grabs a coffee in town so she can soak up all the attention and affection from everyone she meets. It's a thoughtful touch that reflects how much he thinks about what makes the dogs in his care happy and how he wants them to have fun, too. He often sends pictures of our dog from their adventures together. They brighten our day and give us peace of mind, knowing she's happy, safe, and having the time of her life. Ryan is reliable, caring, and truly has a gift with animals. He has experience caring for dogs of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs, and knows how to provide the extra attention and special care that older dogs need. Highly recommend Ryan! He took the time to do a meet and greet and really understand my dog’s specific needs. He was very communicative and flexible whenever any changes came up, which I truly appreciated. What stood out most was how he followed my dog’s training routines and even used the exact phrases we’ve been working on. As someone who is naturally a bit anxious about leaving my dog behind, this experience was a total game-changer. Constant Updates: I received daily photos and "Rover Cards" that tracked walks and potty breaks. Seeing my dog happy and relaxed in a home environment made my trip so much more enjoyable. Vetting & Trust: Knowing that sitters go through a background check and that the Rover Guarantee is in place gave me that extra layer of security I don’t get with a random neighbor or friend.

Ryan Lancaster is a very reliable, conscientious, and warm (lots of hugs & belly rubs) dog walker. He picks up and drops off on time, keeps our dogs - we have a poodle mix and two huskies - active (including pick-up), hydrated with fresh, clear water, fed, and happy. Our dogs wag their tails & bark for joy whenever Ryan arrives for pick-up. We have no reservations giving Ryan access to our home; he is very trustworthy. Ryan’s daily updates are very much appreciated - including times, schedule of activities, photos, and any concerns or particular joyful moments he may have observed. His leash control and handling skills are superb.
