About: I started in the pet industry in 1999. I managed for Jacks Aquarium & Pets for 10 years. I was the livestock manager at Feeders Supply Fairborn. I also train Horses professionally and have been a member of the local dog obedience club. In addition to extensive training experience, I have a lot of medical experience and have no problem taking care of special needs animals. Also happy to sit for livestock and exotics. About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work as a part time tutor. My classes typically consist of Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9-2:15 and Tuesday and Thursdays 11-1:45. Then, I work 3:30-6:30 (sometimes 7:30) as a tutor When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

About: Hi, I’m Erica. I’m 36 and I have two cats at home. I currently only accept cats and dogs and no livestock, which will have to be handed by someone else. I can’t wait to meet you!🐾 I believe what sets me apart from other sitters is the passion I and love I put into my business and the animals I care for. When I get to do a drop in and visit with a regular client I absolutely love the time I get with the animals I care for. I bring gifts, treats, and all the cuddles. I look forward to that more than the money. Pet care is my full time job. On a weekly basis I am always busy with regular clients and always accepting new ones. Pet care is my main priority. If you're pets are in my care inside my home, I do have young children (who will not bother your pets because they pay no mind). I also have my own 3 cats. My cats get along with all animals. But I can accomodate my upstairs area to your pets if they do not get along with other animals so they are not bothered and are in a quiet space with only me. I also follow client instructions for their pets to a T when its comes to their pets. Whilst in the clients home, I follow instructions left for me. Whether it be medicine times, potty breaks, feeding times, walking instructions, cleaning instructions etc., whatever the client wants for me to do I make sure it is done. If this is an over night stay all of this will still be the same. I hang out with the pets, play and cuddle with them, as well as make sure they have everything they need when they need it so they aren't thrown off their routine to much.

About: I have worked at two credible boarding/animal daycare facilities. I worked at both of these facilities for one year each. I worked with puppies, senior animals, kittens, large animals, and small animals. The first facility I worked at was connected to a vet clinic where I also gained experience. I worked with animals recovering from surgeries and animals with different emotional behaviors. I have been petsitting for 7 years. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky.
