“Deanne took wonderful care of our dog at her house while we were out of town. She sent us pictures and messages to see how she was doing. I would totally recommend her to any pet owner and will certainly be using her in the future. Thank you for a great stay!”

“Alicia was the best! I knew from our meet and greet that she was going to be great with Tig and of course she was. I had no worries while we were out of town as she sent updates and photos of our Tig often. I can tell he is going to miss his new hangout and all their love & cuddles. I will absolutely book again if I need to in the future.”

“She took such good care of my puppy, she was in constant communication and sent pictures almost daily. She super spoiled my baby and he had a blast the whole time! She even went above and beyond and took him to be groomed at her shop.”

“Danielle and her family were absolutely incredible with my dog, Pretzel! From the moment I dropped him off, I could tell he was going to be fully embraced as part of their family. She provided timely updates, photos, and messages that truly put my mind at ease — and honestly made me miss my boy even more in the sweetest way. Pretzel was active, engaged, and showered with cuddles — exactly the kind of love and attention he receives at home. It genuinely felt like while I was on vacation, he was on one too! The level of care Danielle and her family provided was exceptional. When I brought Pretzel home, I could even tell he felt the “void” of leaving them — which speaks volumes about how loved and comfortable he was in their care. I am beyond grateful and already looking forward to my next trip knowing Pretzel will be in such amazing hands. Highly, highly recommend! 🐶✨”

“Kim was awesome! She sent us so many pictures and updates throughout our dogs stay I felt so reassured that he was happy and having a good time! We will definitely be using Kim again and I would highly recommend her to anyone with a first time dog stay or even one who’s done lots before!”

“Byron and Martha were great with my dogs , they kept me updated and provided me with pictures throughout the day. I really appreciate the wonderful care that they give , I would recommend as many people to book asap !!!”

“Stella and her family were great with the pups and provided daily pictures and updates! Stella was great with making sure she understood each dog's individual needs during drop off and had everything ready to go right when we arrived for pickup. A great experience for dogs and humans alike!”

“Jacob was great. He is very accommodating, his communication is excellent and you can tell he truly loves dogs. Jacob sent us nice daily updates and photos and made sure our dogs felt at home. His dog is very friendly and made it fun for our dogs to stay with them. We will definitely use Jacob again!”

“Tony was great with Archie. He sent photos and videos which I really liked to see. Archie looked like he really enjoyed himself. Would highly recommend Tony. Thanks again for having Archie in your home”

“Debbie is amazing. She took very good care of Cooper and we would have him stay with her in a heartbeat again! She kept us updated each day on how he was doing and sent lots of cute pictures too. We appreciate all the care Debbie and her family showed Cooper.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of our family. Last year, we said goodbye to our English Bulldog after 12 wonderful years, and while my family is not quite ready for another forever pup yet, I am excited to open our home and hearts to other dogs in the meantime. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have lots of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away, and I'll treat your dog like part of the family. Whether your pup loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just relaxing company, I'm happy to provide a loving and comfortable environment. I work from home full-time during the work week, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. Your pup won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of companionship and supervision while in my care. I’m available for boarding, daycare, and drop-in visits with a schedule that can accommodate most pet needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in the country on a full acre with a large fenced-in backyard, giving dogs plenty of safe space to run, explore, and play. Our home provides a calm, loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed while away from their families. Pets receive lots of supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. I’ll always treat your dog like part of the family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved during their stay.
“You want a second review? I already told you she was great with my dog, he had a fun time with her dogs and since he was recently adopted I was worried how he would do. He was fine when I picked him up!”
“Megan took wonderful care of my 8‑month‑old golden retriever during his very first 5‑day boarding stay. She kept me updated every day with pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. He was clearly happy, safe, and well cared for. I’m very happy with her service and will definitely recommend her and book with her again.”

“Elizabeth was wonderful with my dog Nellie. She is on a few medications and it was no bother for her at all to go that extra mile for Nellie. Elizabeth has 2 wonderful dogs of her own who were very happy to play and entertain my dog. I will definitely use her again and will tell my friends about her as well.”

“June C. Did a wonderful job caring for our dog. She sent photos and updates daily and our Fred was well taken care of. He was happy and healthy. I will not hesitate to ask June to watch him again in the future.”

“We would highly recommend Shalyn and Joe to anyone looking to have their dog looked after. They responded promptly to any concerns we had and we received daily photos and updates on how our Pixie was doing.”

“Angela and Dave took good care of our little Jax. Angela sent pictures with updates during his stay including the ones showing him having fun with the “big” dogs. I would recommend them to others looking for a fun and safe home away from home for their fur baby.”

“I highly recommend Rusty. Benny stayed with him while I was away, and I couldn’t have been happier with the care he provided. He sent me pictures and updates every day, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I was especially nervous because Benny has a history of resource guarding, but he handled him very well and everything went smoothly. Benny was well cared for, safe, and happy during his stay. I would def trust him to watch Benny again.”

“My pet had spent the fantastic days in her house because I felt he didn’t want to go back home with me. I appreciated about what I could get good travel due to her care.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
