“Sandy was the best pet sitter that we have ever had! She was so kind and caring to us and our pets! We highly recommend her! We will definitely be a returning customer!!”

“Angela is a phenomenal pet sitter! I left Kirby in her care for two weeks while I traveled for my wedding and honeymoon and never once did I feel worried about Kirby not being loved on or well cared for. Angela sent tons of pictures of her and her family snuggling with him, playing with him, walking him, and more! I was completely at ease and will absolutely use her again should I have a need for pet care. She is truly exceptional!”

“Rachel was so amazing to our pup Ryder! She sent us great updates and gave us peace of mind that our boy was left in good hands. He was so loved and spoiled. We will definitely be using Rachel again in the future!”

“Kim is excellent! I dropped my puppy off while on an overnight trip from Sheboygan to Indiana. I received updates and felt comfortable that my little cockapoo was taken care of. Thank you, Kim. I will definitely use the services again if we are in need.”

“Tony was great with Archie. He sent photos and videos which I really liked to see. Archie looked like he really enjoyed himself. Would highly recommend Tony. Thanks again for having Archie in your home”

“Deanne watched our baby during our 2 weeks in Ireland. She sent daily pictures and reassuring updates about how his day was going. She's super accommodating about pickup and drop-off times, and Taisho always sleeps the entire way home, a sign of a happy, tired puppy. He's on the smaller side and not wild about being around larger dogs, so she always makes sure he gets plenty of attention and a spot on a chair up above the craziness. Deanne's the best! I've used her for overnights and longer visits like this one - she's always been great. I'm actually on Rover to book another stay!”

“Elizabeth was great with our high-energy, anxious pup! She did a good job making sure he was comfortable and sent us lots of pictures to keep us updated. Her large, fenced-in yard was a huge bonus, and it gave us a good sense of security. Boarding with Elizabeth was an awesome alternative to kennel boarding, which wasn't ideal for our dog and his personality. Highly recommend. Thank you!!”
“Our dogs had an excellent stay with JoAnne. They were loved on and treated like part of the family. I truly felt like I’d left them in the caring hands of friends. She sent us several pictures of them throughout the week with reports of the fun they were having and didn’t seem to have any trouble with their weird quirks of barking at the tv or cowering at thunder. I would definitely book here again and recommend to all my friends with dogs.”

“This is the second time Wolfie stayed with Kim while we visited Great Wolf Lodge. Although he is nervous and doesn't like strangers, he had an easy time warming up to Kim. She sent us many updates of them going on walks, enjoying her outdoor area, and (his lap dog favorite) keeping close while she worked. When he wouldn't eat his usual dog food, she prepared him special food (with our blessing). We always knew he was in excellent hands and will be back for another visit if we head to Great Wolf Lodge or Great America!”

“This was our first time using Rover. Debbie and Tom were wonderful to work with and gave my fiancé and I confidence that our dog, Ollie, would be well cared for during our wedding weekend. Debbie and Tom were responsive and flexible with drop-off and pick up times that took some of the stress out of a busy weekend for us. During the meet and greet we were relieved to see that they were calm and clearly dog lovers. Even though Ollie was excited and busy exploring-they reassured us that it was normal for dogs visiting to take a minute to settle down. During his stay, Ollie was very well taken care of and received the activity he needs to be healthy and happy. Debbie and Tom were both very detailed to help accommodate Ollie’s schedule. Not to mention, we were lucky to receive numerous photo updates along the way! I would highly recommend Debbie and Tom to anyone looking for great pet care!”

“Ashley and family once again made Rocco feel at home. He was spoiled with attention, and always looked happy in the regular pictures we received. Rocco tends to be anxious, but always seems comfortable in Ashley’s home.”

“Stella is the best! We’ve had our dogs stay with her and they’ll be back! Very caring, professional setting, and she’s great at sending updates on how they’re doing :)”

“Did a great job of keeping us aware of what our dog was up to and provided honest feedback for her behavior (good and bad). We really appreciate her her service! Thank you.”

“Byron and Martha are the best. They took really good care of our dog Noki. They followed up each day with photos and followed all instructions for care. Will be reaching out again for his service thru Rover. For sure a 5 star sitter. Thanks again!”

“Brianna did such a good job making sure we knew how well she was taking care of our Buttercup, and it really helped us focus on our trip. It's clear she loves dogs and has a wonder space to foster socialization, comfort, and safety for them. We'll absolutely be booking her again in the future!”

“We had a great experience with Norma. She is very capable and flexible. She was able to give me piece of kind while she cared for our large dog. She did a great job sending updates, photos and videos. I would highly recommend Norma and will have her watch my dog again.”

“Megan was very welcoming and accommodated some last-minute travel plans and made Copper feel right at home. He also got along well with her three pups. He enjoyed having a fenced in backyard where he could run around and play. Thank you!”

“My pet had spent the fantastic days in her house because I felt he didn’t want to go back home with me. I appreciated about what I could get good travel due to her care.”

“Tom and Julie took really great care of Casey. Sending me videos very frequently. They are accommodating and flexible in schedule. Your pup is definitely in good hands with Tom and Julie. They are Highly recommended.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wilmot
Elizabeth was absolutely incredible, and I cannot recommend her enough! As a “helicopter” dog mom, I’m always anxious about leaving my boy but she made me feel completely comfortable and informed from the day I first inquired about his stay. She genuinely loves dogs, cares about their health, and it shows in everything she does. Her yard is huge—a dog’s paradise—and was perfect for my energetic 3 year old boy to run, play, and burn off energy. He had the best time! She sent frequent updates along with the sweetest pictures and videos. It was clear he was not only being well cared for, but was truly happy and having fun. Finding Elizabeth was such a blessing! We are so grateful for her, and already looking forward to his next stay!

Elizabeth took such great care of our Brixton while my husband and I were away for our wedding! We’re always nervous leaving Brixton with anyone because he's epileptic and requires daily meds at specific times but Elizabeth went above and beyond to understand his condition and ask questions. Her attention to detail and love of pups gave us so much peace of mind. We also loved her daily updates and photos. Would highly recommend booking with her!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
