“I had a mandatory business trip and my pet sitter fell through fairly last minute. My 6 year old cat, Ollie, has separation anxiety (I rescued him from abuse when he was 6 months old) and he is not used to being alone for long periods of time because I work out of the house and am home most of the time. While he's friendly, he's not super snuggly or interactive with strangers; he just needs someone to be 'present'. We had a meet-and-greet prior to booking the stay- She asked all of the pertinent questions about his personality and daily routine (Charlie, my 21 year old cockatiel, is easy- LOL). I was rest-assured things would work out so I booked the stay. Deanne was wonderful with both Ollie and Charlie. She sent me updates throughout the day and plenty of photos letting me know they both were doing well (although I could tell in a couple of the photos Ollie was a little sad... But that is completely normal- As long as he was eating and following his regular routine I knew he'd 'survive'). This also helped me not stress out or worry about my pets and be able to focus on my trip / business dealings and that's honestly also a big part of traveling for me. I arrived home, and while I know both Ollie and Charlie missed me, everything went right back to normal and that's what told me Deanne cared for them very well. She also was very respectful of my home and kept it clean during her stay. I'm very glad I found her and will be using her services again. I highly recommend Deanne to care for your pets!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I have also had a small private pet/house sitting business for the past 12 years. I have a lot of experience feeding pets with strict/special diets using oils, powders, crushed up supplements etc. and administering medicine including insulin injections. Drop in- I will stop at your home and let dogs out, feed & water, play, etc. for no less than 20 minutes. I can also care for cats if you have them. About: I've taken care of pets from as earliest as birth and into their elderly years, since I was 8. My family would occasionally breed our American Akitas. I've trained them, bathed them, cleaned up after them, and administered medications. They are a ton of work, but always worth the effort when we saw them finally meet their forever homes. I am available for whatever service you need, except for boarding, most days of the week except Thursdays after 2 pm, Fridays, and Saturdays before 2 pm. I am unable to care for your pet at my residence. We have 5 dogs here currently and I wouldn't want to overwhelm your pet with so many new faces. I am more than willing to be as accommodating as needed to care for them in your home, walking them, or simply letting out for a potty break.
About: I've owned numerous cats and dogs throughout my entire life, and have been raised with animals since I was an infant. I am looking to help anyone who may need the extra hand. Whether life is a little hectic or just seeking a get away, everyone can always use a little extra help. I am currently working on becoming a Certified Flight Instructor, so when I am not spending time at the airport studying/ training, I am at home studying. I am looking to help out whenever I have the free time to be able to get out, meet people, and take care of any animal needs they might have. I am big on attention for animals, not just having them to "fill space" in a home. I believe in treating them like family, through time spent running around, running errands, sitting on the couch to watch a movie, or even giving them a snack while eating (given something that is acceptable for their digestion, of course)! I try to take my own animals out as much as I can so they can get their energy spent so they aren't stuck inside all day.
About: I’ve had pets especially dogs all my life. I’ve taken care of other dog for two weeks. I’m currently having two cats living with us. Pets are best thing to have! I’m currently working on call as substitute teacher. So I’d thought I could work on days I’m available to look after pets, dogs or cats. Take dogs for walk and feeding if need to. I have a backyard but not fenced. But take walk if need. Play with ball or toys. Giving lots of cuddles. Important making them feel comfortable and safe.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and cats as well. I’m a huge animal lover! I’ve had golden retrievers, pit bulls, Rottweilers, and a mini golden doodle. We currently have a 3 month old Golden Retriever! I’m currently a Stay at Home Mom to a 20 Month old little boy and a 7 month old Golden Retriever! So I’m available all the time! About: I work at a doggy daycare have over 3 years of experience taking care of dogs, feeding and medications if needed. I can also basic training dogs. I currently work part time. Im free Thursday - all day, Friday - all day and Saturday - till 5pm. If I am needed for a bathroom break or feeding they will be well taken care of. I currently do not own a animal. I have learned with my doggy daycare experience that you have to keep your head on a swivel because some animals can get into what they shouldn't.
About: I grew up with a sweet smooth collie and helped take care of her throughout my childhood. These days I take care of friends and families dogs while they go on vacation or just need a quick sitter for the day/night. I also have a pet chinchilla, Cheaches, that I take care of everyday :) I'm a elementary teacher, so my availability during the summer is very open. About: I have been working in the pet industy for 10 years and I am pet CPR certified. I have taken care care of pups of all ages, all different kinds of animals, and have had many pets of my own. I currently work at a restaurant so may be gone here and there. My pups are home for you friend to have some company while I'm gone! I do not have a fenced in yard, but can leash walk anywhere. Pets can free roam inside my house, otherwise I can care for pets in their own space.
About: I've grown up with dogs and cats. Growing up, my family had Dalmatians, which probably began my love for large dogs. I currently have two rescue, pitty-mixes. I love the playful energy and am understanding that different dogs have different needs. My dog, Bear, is always getting into something, so I've become pretty good with first-aid! My education background is a Masters in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Biology, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. I'm totally OK with spending the night with your pets if needed. My husband can watch our crazy boys and cat :) I used to teach middle school science when I lived in Maryland but now I'm a stay-at-home mom in Illinois! Just let me know when you are needed and I'll make it work! I am a very organized, clean and tidy person. I totally understand how much we love our fur babies and will treat them like I'd treat my own. Again, I'd rather be overly cautious than not enough! Our babies can't voice for themselves so it is important to always advocate for them and do what is in their best interest!
About: I am the definition of an animal lover, which I attribute to having had animals around my entire life. I grew up with Australian shepherds, German shepherds, cats, hamsters, and even tarantulas! I am extremely comfortable walking dogs, giving them medication via food, and managing when to let them out to go to the bathroom. I’m also willing to give a big furry dog a good brush if they need it! I have lived primarily with big dogs, but have had close relationships with small dogs through friends and my husband’s family whom I have dog sat for in the past. In addition, I am a massive cat lover. I was given a kitten when I was 8 years old and had her for 19 years until she just recently passed. In her senior years, she had both hypothyroidism and asthma so I am well-versed in giving cats inhalers and medication in various forms (via dropper, ear application, in treats, and in food). I am a dependable dog and cat sitter/caretaker because I know how much your animal means to you. I’m an extremely organized person so you can count on me to be reliable with pick-up, drop-off, and everything in between. Taking care of your animal would not be a job to me because I am so happy to do it! I work all day Tuesday and Thursday and the occasional Monday, Wednesday or Friday depending on when I am scheduled (only 4 hours shifts on those days) so I could watch an animal full time during three weekdays in addition to weekends. I am still more than willing to watch an animal for an entire week and either modify my work schedule to be with them more, or just make sure they are set up for the days I am in office. I have a non-smoking home with one cat and two people including myself. My home would be an extremely relaxing environment for a pet and due to my flexible schedule, I can dedicate nearly full-time care to an animal. Since I have a cat, I would only really be able to have dogs stay overnight for a couple-day stint since I'd prefer to keep them separate. In my client's home I would offer the same care in addition to respecting the environment. I'm naturally a very clean person and always pick up after myself.
