âHaylea is amazing! Sheâs very professional and has great communication. She took great care of my cat while I was away and provided great pictures and updates. Highly recommend!â

âWe had a meet and greet prior to the drop-in visit and our dog was very comfortable with Heather. Heather also communicated with us prior to and after the visit. We were very pleased with Heatherâs service and will definitely use her again.â

âThis was our first time using Rover and Heather went above and beyond our expectations! We looked forward to her updates nightly and absolutely loved the pictures. We were able to enjoy our vacation more fully knowing our little fur baby was in wonderful hands. We would you request Heather again in a heartbeat!â

âI love being able to always count on Deanne to follow through on her commitments. I was gone for 11 hours and it felt wonderful knowing my dogs would be let out. I appreciate the cute photos she sends too and how the app tells you when she came and left.â

About: I've owned numerous cats and dogs throughout my entire life, and have been raised with animals since I was an infant. I am looking to help anyone who may need the extra hand. Whether life is a little hectic or just seeking a get away, everyone can always use a little extra help. I am currently working on becoming a Certified Flight Instructor, so when I am not spending time at the airport studying/ training, I am at home studying. I am looking to help out whenever I have the free time to be able to get out, meet people, and take care of any animal needs they might have. I am big on attention for animals, not just having them to "fill space" in a home. I believe in treating them like family, through time spent running around, running errands, sitting on the couch to watch a movie, or even giving them a snack while eating (given something that is acceptable for their digestion, of course)! I try to take my own animals out as much as I can so they can get their energy spent so they aren't stuck inside all day.
âJack is amazing!! He was able to accommodate multiple visits in a day for my puppy on a short notice. He is very communicative, left detailed reviews for each visit with multiple adorable pics. He provided care that was above and beyond. I knew my puppy was in good hands I highly recommend!!!â

About: Iâve been caring for animals for years and truly treat every pet like my own. Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to check in, feed, walk, and spend time with their pets while theyâre at work or away on vacation. Iâm a mom of two who works from home, which allows me to have a flexible and reliable schedule. Iâm available for pet care between 8:00amâ2:30pm and again from 4:00pmâ8:00pm most days. Because Iâm home based, Iâm able to consistently show up on time, provide dependable care, and give your pets the attention they need during the day while youâre at work or away. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your pets. I always treat any pet with respect, care, and attention to detail. I follow all instructions closely, keep doors secured, and make sure your pet stays safe and comfortable at all times. Iâm very attentive to each petâs behavior and needs, whether that means giving them space or extra attention. I also provide updates so you can feel confident and at ease while youâre away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for just like they would with you đŤśđť
âLeslie is amazing. Very reliable and on time. I knew my dog was well taken care of with her. She made sure he was fed, had water, and let him outside. She sent pictures and updated me during every visit. Leslie is the best and we will continue to use her services in the future.â

âAva arrived as scheduled, provided feedback and photos as described. Happy with the amount of time spent with Peru. Would happliy book Ava for another drop in visit in the future! Thank you for your help!â

âEmily visited daily and fed the cats as per instructions. She gave them attention and sent photos. She went above and beyond with the litter boxes and other minor chores. I would book her again.â

âWe booked Gwen very last minute. She was more than willing to do meet and greet before our booked times. Care for our dog (who had ACL surgery that week) and communication with us throughout was phenomenal! We highly recommend Gwen and hope to book with her again. Thank you, weâre beyond grateful!â

âJada was great!!! My pets loved her. I loved the peace of mind knowing that they were getting attention during the day & I wouldn't have a "mess" on my new carpet.â

âDeclan was a great sitter! Look forward to working with him in the future. Would highly recommend him and what he offers your animals. It is hard to find someone as good as him, and we are lucky to have him!â

âLilli and Zachary were wonderfully responsible care takers for our dog and home. Lilli is a prompt, kind, and excellent communicator. Our meet and greet went well, and I could immediately sense we could trust this nice young couple. They provided wonderful care for our 10 year old dog who had never been left alone before (we always had other dogs and in-home overnight care). Initially our dog was a bit shy, according to Lilli, but she ultimately warmed to them and they became fast friends. Lilliâs reports were detailed complete with pictures. I would highly recommend Lilli and Zachary!â

About: I have had animals of all walks of life since I was a child. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, fish, bunnies and even a donkey. Animals have naturally been drawn to me and I have often been the only one to help an animal. I show all animals unconditional love and care. I have nursed senior dogs until they need to cross the rainbow bridge. I am available for early morning, afternoon and evening help. I work from home and have the flexibility to meet the needs of a pet in my care. I am not able to care for animals in my apartment. All services will be on site for the client and their pet. I will adhere to the clients wishes for their pet once we establish a relationship.
âKarah was wonderful! I have 2 older cats and one needs insulin twice daily. My 2 old girls can make quite a mess of their (5!) litter boxes, but each one was clean with no sign odor. Karah sent pics daily and always texted before and after each visit. Cheerful and reliable, I hope to use her againâ
âRianna is so sweet with my pups. While they are very low maintenance, she goes out of her way to be super sweet and patient with them. 2 big thumbs up and I will continue to book her for my daily dog needs.â

About: I've had dogs since I was little. Love pets. I go for walks daily so a furry friends to assist me in these walks in ideal! Growing up we had two dogs since puppies and rescued an older dog! I am a teacher during the year so I am available all summer! Morning, afternoons, evenings! Weekend can get busier, but I am a flexible go with the flow person! Letting dogs out, watching them in the yard, leasing them up, taking them on walks, making sure they are fed and hydrated, occasional treats, all up my alley.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
