“Lauren was beyond amazing. Minutes before we were able to leave for a long weekend trip, a bird managed to fly in our house. We weren't sure if it even got in and searched the house for it, but couldn't find it I messaged Lauren right away to let her know. Instead of cancelling, she laughed it off. We saw nothing for the first day, but she did end up finding it on day 2. And like a Disney princess, Lauren even managed to safely get the bird back outside!! She took such good care of our old man. About: With 7 years of hands-on experience working at an exotic animal farm, I’ve cared for everything from parrots and reptiles to foxes and sloths! I’m no stranger to unique needs, special diets, or quirky personalities. Whether you need a dog walker or just need a helping hand, you can trust your pets are in experienced, loving hands—just like family. I'm currently working part time at Genesee pet resort and have most days off, I'm available Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays! I am also willing to do occasional Saturdays! I have a state park sticker so we can go for walks down trails, I also have a fenced in back yard and a great pryaneese and Australian shepherd who love other dogs.

About: I've been around animals all my life, from guinea pigs and rabbits, to cats and dogs, to even giant sea turtles! I worked in the veterinary industry for about 10 years as well as a summer at the Milwaukee County Zoo in the Aquatic and Reptile Building. I am comfortable with medication for most animals, fear free handling if needed, but I'm also willing to take my time with more shy pets. I currently have a lab mix who is about 70 lbs, two cats with different medical concerns, and an 11 year old rabbit. As far as my own pets, I do all the care for them in my home. For my working schedule, I am available most mornings after 7:15 am until 2 pm during the week. I am able to do some weekends as well, depending on the situation. I know dogs who are runners well, as my dog very much one! We do not have a fenced in yard, but I have a tie out for my dog, as well as a leash and harness for her for walks and car trips (as well as a seatbelt!). I understand the stress of putting someone in charge of your pets and the care that must be taken. I will always put your pets safety first and make sure all the clips, locks, and bolts are secure before leaving the home.

About: My experience working with dogs in the doggy daycare setting has given me many skills to apply into my dog sitting role! I have cared for dogs from itty bitty 5 pounds all the way to 150+ pounds! I also have experience administering medications to dogs including liquid form and pill form. I have mastered the task of hiding the pills well in special treats to where they don’t even notice! I have personally cared for my own senior dog who was on multiple medications daily, and needed special attention to specific details. I would love to meet you and your furry friends, and make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away! Pet care works into my daily routine as my schedule is set and very flexible, allowing me to do short drop ins throughout the day if needed or would best suit a puppy who needs those extra potty breaks! With my in home care , I strive to make the transition of “pawrents” leaving and me coming in as smooth and seamless as possible! I have a set schedule that I can work around thought the day. I am happy to follow a daily schedule that your pup is used to so they don’t get overwhelmed or stressed. I strive to send multiple pictures a day and give frequent updates. I care for pets the same way I would my own family furry friends!
