About: I have been taking care of pets for family members and friends for over 5 years now. It started when a friend had an emergency out of town and needed help. It was a pleasure to sit in and feed, play, and send goofy pictures of my friend’s dog to provide ease and comfort during a hard time. I work full time and that means my cats are fed on a routine. They require a special diet that requires portioned meals and time to play. I have an active pet cam that I am able to use to talk to them when I am not home to provide comfort and time dispensers for treats. I will abide by your routine and follow directive on when to feed, when to walk, and when to provide or administer medication. Only you know your companion best and in order to provide safety and structure, as your care-taker it would be a privilege to honor your schedule and routine.

“Lauren has taken care of my cat several times and she is always amazing! During my last trip, my cat finished 2 days worth of food in less than 24 hours and Lauren went to my house to give my cat more food on a day she wasn't even scheduled. She's so flexible and responsive and my cat loves her!”

“Alexandria has been thr best sitter I've had the pleasure of using for their services. Very communicative, very responsive, and sent detailed notes with pictures for each visit. She's amazing and will do what's needed perfectly.”

“Brooke was fantastic! She kept in great communication with me the whole time. She clarified things asked questions if she had them. She also send great pictures every time she checked on the animals. I so enjoyed working with her, and I will be using her services again! - Amiee”

About: I provide calm, attentive care tailored to each pet, including puppies and seniors, ensuring comfort, safety, and lots of love, patience and reliability every time. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins, ensuring each pet gets consistent attention, care, and affection every day. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every environment. I follow routines closely, maintain clean spaces, provide constant supervision, and respect each pet’s boundaries in my home or yours.
“We were apprehensive about having a stranger in our home when we weren’t home. But we needed an extra option for pet care when we go away. My neighbor suggested Rover. Lauren was our first choice and we couldn’t be happier. We love that she lives close by and has a few dogs herself. She knew what my dog needed. Even when our Rizzo had some anxiety. Lauren instinctively gave the care and love our dog needed. We are grateful for this experience with Lauren and she is officially our new dog sitter.”

“Jadyn did an amazing job checking on our pups! She communicated very well, and made sure our dogs were well taken care of! This was our first time using Rover and she made this a very pleasant experience!”

“Alissa was very good with our Rex. This was our first time leaving our baby and she was very accommodating to our concerns. She could immediately tell our sweet boy was sad we left him and she went out of her way to make sure our boy was happy, comfortable and loved! We will definitely be using Alissa again!”

About: I’m always looking for an excuse to get my steps in, and spending time with pets is the perfect way to do it! Growing up, our home never felt complete without a couple of cats and dogs running around. Caring for animals has always been part of my everyday life, so making sure your furry family members feel safe, loved, and well cared for comes naturally to me. I’m very flexible with my schedule since I’m currently freelancing and enrolled in online school. I’m available Monday- Friday and some weekends; holidays may vary. My dogs always loved spending time in our fenced backyard, so I know how important it is for pups to get plenty of exercise and playtime. Whether it's neighborhood walks, a trip to the dog park, or simply letting them run around in a secure backyard, I'm happy to keep them active and entertained. If your dog needs a little extra care, like a bath or light grooming, I'm happy to help—just let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly. For everyone's safety, I only accept dogs that are potty trained and non-aggressive. If your dog has any behavioral quirks or special needs, please let me know before booking so I can make sure we're a great fit!
About: With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs of my own, I've developed a deep understanding of the consistency and attention pets require at every life stage. I have also worked in a shelter environment, where I was frequently relied upon to calm anxious animals and build trust with dogs that were more difficult to reach. This experience is complemented by five years of dog walking and pet sitting, giving me a well-rounded ability to assess an animal's comfort level and provide attentive, reliable care. I approach every pet with the same level of professionalism, patience, and genuine care I bring to my own. I currently have a flexible, open schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to your pet. I'm available for boarding any day of the week, along with walks, drop-ins, and playtime throughout the day. I try to keep a consistent routine so your pet always knows what to expect, and I can work around whatever timing works best for you. Whether I'm caring for a pet in my home or yours, I prioritize a calm, safe, and comfortable environment at all times. In my own home, pets have a secure, pet-proofed space to relax and play, with constant supervision — no unsupervised outdoor time and careful introductions to any other animals. In a pet owner's home, I respect their existing routine, keep their space clean and secure, and make sure doors and gates stay closed. I always stay alert to each pet's comfort level and adjust my approach to help them feel safe and at ease.

About: I’ve had a dog since I was a kid and had to help take care of it plenty. I’ve also helped out with friends dogs when I was in college, as in house visits or just walking, feeding, or whatever the dog needs. I’m currently interning part time, I will be available in the afternoon and night time and the morning time on weekends. Mainly pretty flexible schedule! I have a fences yard and one dog that can keep other dogs company. We have lots of yard space for the dog to roam.

About: Hi! I’m Jordyn, and animals have been my passion for as long as I can remember. I grew up in veterinary clinics, later became a veterinary technician and groomer, and now I’m living my dream as the founder and owner of JoJo’s Pack House LLC. My goal has always been to create a place where dogs are treated like family while their owners are away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and abilities—including seniors, puppies, special needs, and dogs who require medications or extra attention. Every dog who stays with me is treated like one of my own, with kindness, patience, love, and respect. So if you would like your animal(s) to get the time, love, and care that they always deserve, please feel free to contact me anytime. To give every dog the attention they deserve and to keep our daily routine running smoothly, drop-off and pick-up appointments are scheduled during designated appointment windows. DAYCARE HOURS: 8AM-5:00PM Full day or Half days available. With years of hands-on experience in veterinary medicine, grooming, and professional dog care, my goal is to provide a fun, low-stress, home-style environment where every dog feels like part of the family. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my highest priorities. I have two friendly pups (dachshund and terrier mix) that love to make new friends! We have a fully fenced backyard and the pups are never left outside unattended. I intentionally keep my boarding small and personal so every guest receives plenty of one-on-one attention, love, and care. I send daily photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pup is having a safe and fun vacation! You’ll never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I love keeping owners updated throughout their stay. Every guest enjoys supervised outdoor time throughout the day, with potty breaks at least every three hours or more often if needed.
About: I previously had a vizsla and a GSP so I’m very familiar with high energy breeds! I have extensive experience fostering and previously worked at a small animal emergency and specialty hospital. I work from home! When I leave for any errands I can crate if needed or leave them out with my dog if they are used to that. I have a fenced back yard and the border of the 5.5 acres is all fully fenced. I have crates, dog beds and plenty of toys but you’re welcome to bring your own!
“Christyl took wonderful care of our cat. We really appreciated her timely, detailed updates, and plenty of photos. It was clear that Ginny really took a liking to her. We’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future, thanks so much :)”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
