“Allison came through in a pinch because it was hard to find a sitter over the holidays. Understood the cat’s special diet, came home to a happy cat.”

“Erica and her daughter were super helpful when I was in a bind finding care for my lab on short notice. She was even willing to drive a nice distance to care for him and took really nice, professional looking photos of him. It was such an added bonus! It made me smile while I was at work, looking at his photo, and how happy he was with them! Made me feel comfort with such wonderful people in my home. Will definitely be booking Erica again! Wonderful with dogs!”

About: I currently have two dogs and experience with all types and breeds. I work from home and take the dogs for walks/runs on Gearhart beach. I am a very attentive dog mom. I have experience with dog medications, wound car, injections, tick removal. I work from home and am very attentive to dogs and ensuring they are well cared for. I regularly take dogs to the beach which is 1/2 a mile away and they run and play. I have two friendly dogs and a large, but unfenced, yard. Dogs have free reign in the house and can use the furniture and beds.

“She did a great job with our kitties!”

About: Well I’ve had cats all my life but I do love dogs! I have done over night(s)! I love taking dogs for walks & to parks to run around and possibly play with other dogs I’ve helped with a friend of mine dogs while his other family members were off on a camping trip so I took them out for potty a few times a day, feed them, & played with them. I’m definitely an animal lover who loves being outdoors and helping out if and when needed I’ve been told multiple times that I’m a cat/dog whisperer if you know what I mean by that. If there is anything in particular you wanna know feel free to ask. I currently am a homemaker and do have my own vehicle. I currently have a very open schedule but I do not drive. My partner drives me (or animals!) wherever I need to go. First things first I like to have a conversation with the clients about their pet specific needs and schedules. If a, “In-home” pet sitting is needed, I also like to go over any house or home rules. This can vary depending on the animal.

“Zeva was punctual, kind and communicative when visiting my cat. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: I may be young, but I've had multiple animals in my life already: 3 cats, a handful of dogs, some fish, and even a horse. I also did rescue for 5 years, being a foster family for numerous cats working with my local animal shelter. I also dog-sit for family and friends. I am free any day throughout the week as long as I get notice at least a day ahead. I am an older sister to lots of kids, so scheduling is very important to me. I would treat your animal just like my own: walks, playtime, relaxation, and feeding. I can also bathe and brush as well. If you can give me a list of what your pets need, I'll make it a priority.

About: I have owned dogs for about 16 years. Trained multiple puppies. Dog sat for my nanny jobs. And I have farm sat for a few years. I love animals of all shambles and sizes. I also own a horse currently so the bigger animals are not a problem for me if you have them I’m currently working part time. But I have a flexible schedule that i choose when and what days I work. I have the flexibility to care for animals I use what is at my disposal for caring for pets. Whether it is a fetch game on the back yard a hike nearby or a long walk around the block.

About: Hi there, We’re Leigh & Luke — experienced, reliable, and animal-loving sitters. With 15+ years of combined experience in private homes as a nanny, household manager, newborn care specialist, and owner of a domestic staffing agency, I (Leigh) have had the joy of caring for more than just children—pets and entire households have always been a big part of my work. My partner Luke and I are calm, patient, and easygoing — animals naturally seem drawn to us (neighborhood cats often join us on our evening walks!). We deeply understand the importance of maintaining your pet’s routine and ensuring they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Luke has a true green thumb—at one point, he cared for his own 28 thriving houseplants—and he’s tended to some truly beautiful gardens. Together, we take great pride in being respectful, responsible, and thoughtful guests in every home we enter. In addition to his love of nature, Luke is a creative professional who owns a production company and works as a documentary filmmaker. We work remotely and have flexible schedules, allowing us to commit to sits across the U.S. but preferably in the PNW and California. Since we travel without children or pets, we can easily adapt to new environments and give your pets our full attention. With years of experience caring for private homes, I understand the importance of arriving with a calm, grounded presence—something pets instinctively respond to. We genuinely love connecting with new people and their animals, and we’re fully vetted and background checked through TrustedHousesitters. It would be an honor to care for your home and your beloved pets with the same attention and affection we’d give our own. Please note that while we are new on here we are happy to share our reviews from Trusted HouseSitters with you as we have been active on there longer. We work remotely and have flexible schedules, allowing us to commit to sits across the U.S. and internationally. Since we travel without children or pets, we can easily adapt to new environments and give your pets our full attention. Our preference is overnight in home care for 3+ days with flexibility for upwards of 1+months. We care for pets in our clients’ homes with the same presence, mindfulness, and affection we’d give our own. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, playtime, garden care, or quiet companionship, we take the time to understand each pet’s needs and personality. We’re calm, observant, and intentional—animals often seem to relax around us naturally. Luke and I work remotely and without children or pets of our own, which allows us to give each home and every animal our full attention. We show up as thoughtful, low-impact guests who respect your space, your privacy, and your pet’s well-being. From cuddles to houseplant care, we handle the little details so you can travel with peace of mind. Ultimately, we believe great pet sitting isn’t just about meeting needs—it’s about creating an atmosphere where your animals feel safe, loved, and seen while you're away.

“Kathy stepped in for us twice for late-notice requests and I am so appreciative. The first was when another sitter had to cancel a boarding job. Kathy was able to have my dog and me over for a meet and greet just a few days before the trip. She spent a lot of time with us, listening to all of my questions and concerns. During the boarding itself, everything went great and she was responsive with updates. My dog seemed to enjoy his time with her. I'd be happy to board him with Kathy again. The same day Kathy dropped our dog off, we asked if she could do some drop-in visits that same week and she was able to help us once again. This took a weight off my shoulders to have her be so accommodating and reliable, especially on such short notice.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. My dogs are truly my best friends, and my most favorite things to do are play with them, walk them, and take them down to the beach. I get so much joy from being with dogs, and would love to be available to help people with their doggies whenever needed! I’m currently home for the summer, between school years as an English teacher in Madrid, Spain. Right now, I’m enjoying time on the Oregon coast and working on my Spanish, so I have plenty of availability, and lots of motivation, for pet care! My approach to caring for pets in my home and my client’s home is one of attention to individual needs. I know that every pet is different, and every pet has different needs. I would want to know from my clients how best to make their pet comfortable and cared for. Whether the dog likes to play lots, walk, run, or just hangout, I want to make sure that time away from their family can still feel like home.

About: I'm responsible and loving and you'll never need to worry about your family member. I have over 70 years of animal caregiving. I'm happy to provide photos and updates while you're away to increase your comfort and ensure your pets are being cared for. I'm open to pet sitting any time, as this is my main source of employment. I'm happy to house sit, pet sit, or do daily drop-ins. I have a long-standing relationship in the community. Our family farm was well-respected for seven decades. I treat your family loved ones like one of our own.

About: I have extensive experience taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens, but am open and excited to take care of all pets. I am new to Rover, but have completed over 40 sits through TrustedHousesitters watching many dogs, cats, and kittens, ranging from weekend sits to entire months and have been pet sitting full time for 1 and a half years. I have watched dogs and cats of all ages and have experience administering medication (including insulin, pills, liquid). I also have experience with a variety of farm animals as I watched an entire farm by myself including goats, sheep, turkeys, rabbits, cats and dogs. In addition to my recent experience through TrustedHousesitters, I have had many house/pet sitting gigs throughout the years. I periodically watched my housemates cat in college. I grew up dog sitting my family friend's dog and cat sitting for a couple of different families. I also nannied for 4 years, and have experience looking after houses, cleaning, and keeping my clients homes in great condition. I am originally from California, but my home base is Portland, OR. My favorite activities include running, hiking, and anything outdoorsy. I am a marathon runner and I have completed 6 marathons so far and have run numerous half marathons. I also really like exploring, traveling and trying new food and coffee places. I love to house/pet sit because it gives me the opportunity to be around cute pets and make some extra income as I recently moved back to Portland after taking a gap year. I have 3.5 years of experience working remotely in the medical communications field and I am a UC Davis alumni. While caring for your pet and home, I will be available on my cell and will text picture updates, so you can feel at ease while you are away and will be sure to give your pet plenty of cuddles and love.

About: I make sure your pet feels like a member of the family, not only are they smart, they need attention to make sure they can have trust. I have nothing but time and attention to give. I love to have fun, that's what life's all about, getting out there and having adventures. Any new opportunity is what pushes me into the next day, can't wait to meet you and hear your story. As a type one diabetic, I know how important special needs are, especially for pets, any medication, any set schedule, anything to make sure your animal has a long and fruitful life in your family

“Amy did a fantastic job caring for our older, sensitive cat. She has strong knowledge of cat care, behaviors, and techniques, and our cat looked very comfortable interacting with her. She was prompt, descriptive, and went above and beyond in her care. We appreciate Amy and hope to book her again in the future! :)”

“Big thanks to Erica for taking such good care of my cat over a longer stay! She always sent plenty of photos and confirmed that everything was going fine, and I'm really grateful for the peace of mind that my cat was given great care and attention. I appreciate how easy it was to communicate with Erica and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I have excellent references with over 18 years of experience walking, feeding, bathing, and grooming animals. I have worked with animals as young as 4 months old to as old as 18 years old and had to administer medication. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, goats, fish, birds, and cows. I am a teacher so I am available any time during the week to stay over and with breaks I can go and let them out for play and potty time. I’m off work after 3:45 so your pet babies will have lots of attention! I also have summers off (June-August) and can be home with your pets all day! I live in an apartment at this time so I will not be able to keep your animals here, but I am able to come to your home and be there as much or as little as you need me to be! I want what is best for your pet since I know they are part of your family. When you put your trust in me, I take that very seriously and anything you need directions wise will be followed since you know your pet best!

“We were on vacation and needed to leave the dog behind for 3 hours in August. She is not crate trained and is a barker. The sitter was a great option to keep Katie supervised and active for that time. Thanks!”

“Brenna was an amazing cat sitter! She is extremely communicative, trustworthy, and kind, even my shy cats came out to see her! It is clear that she cares deeply for animals and is great at caring for them :)”
