About: Hi, we’re a family of 5 in the lower Highlands area. Sadly, we lost our family dog, Friday, last year. He was a high energy husky mix. We miss him. However, we aren’t ready to commit to adopting another dog just yet. We’d love to watch yours though. We are right across from Harrison hollow and we’re an active, outdoor family. We have three kids: 8, 6 & 4 years old. We’ll take great care of your pooch. My husband and I both work from home & love to get out on walks during the day. We are both very active throughout the day. We have a back yard that is fenced in & room to run around in the back. We live close to walking trails and the foothills where we will take your dog on walks.

“Emily did an excellent job taking care of our dogs, they really enjoyed her, she brought in the mail and watered our plants we will book her again any time, thank you the Sorensens”

“Amazing and caring in all she does. She physically and verbally shows her compassion for dogs and welcomes them into her arms like her own family. Very respectful and always willing to help. Highly recommend if you’re in Boise!!”

“Christin is so kind and helpful! She’s been amazing with my new puppy and even my incredibly shy 7 year old dog who usually takes a very long time to warm up to people! I can tell she genuinely cares and that’s invaluable to me.”

“Aaron continues to provide great care to my two cats. He is attentive and in constant communication as needed. I strongly recommend Aaron -- you and your furry friend(s) will be in good hands. Thank you Aaron.”

About: Healthcare worker looking for some pet love! I started dog-sitting on Rover in 2015! Took a few years off and moved states, but back in action because I don't have a dog right now, and want one, but don't have a schedule that allows me to give consistent attention. I have 3-day weekends, so Sun-Mon-Tues I can spend pretty much all day with your best friend, but Weds, Thurs, & Sat I'm pretty booked up. I will have lots of time over the holidays this year (24-25) so I'd love to have a dog at home, or house-sit at yours! Can also drop in on cats in the North End. I currently have 1 cat, so your dog needs to be cat-savvy to come over to stay, or I can watch in your home; cat care in your home only. Why I love dog sitting I've loved dogs my whole life! My first dog was an Australian Shepherd and since then I've had a rottweiler/lab, a boxer/aussie, a greyhound/chesapeake, pit/lab and have tons more in the family, great danes, dachshund, german shepherd, border collie, visla, etc! I’ve also fostered for rescues, dogs and beyond. My experience administering medication I work in healthcare, so I'm very comfortable with medications, therapy, injuries, and staying calm in an emergency. I'm not a vet, so can't give advice, but I'm highly competent in care! I have a flexible schedule with 6-hour workdays - plenty of time to spend with your best friend! I go in late, get home early, and love to walk around the North End or foothills. Pets hang out with me most of the time in my home. I work from home 2 days a week, and have 3-day weekends, so only 2 days in the office (ask for schedule if needed). Pets are allowed on the couch, and I have a fully fenced yard for potty breaks.

About: I am very active. I like to play and move. If your pet needs energy used I would love to find out how long they go. Outside of this play style my family and I have an elderly cat that we do special care for. For example, special treats, water treatment, food, and toys. The cat we have is given special treats that help joints and hips. We use special food to help digestion. We give massages to her variously throughout the day/week more so when needed. I am the go to pet sitter for many of our family friends. I frequently play and visit with their pets. I am cautious on opening the door being aware of what may be near the other side to get out. Moving my way in to the house I will call the pet by name if they’re not by the door to give them affection. If they don’t come by the door I will go search for them to make sure they are okay and greet them in their area if they seem to be comfortable for a greeting.

About: Hi there, fellow dog lover! I’m Cynthia, and I’m so glad you stopped by... I live in the beautiful North End of Boise and have been pet sitting for years, caring for everything from high-energy pups to wise old senior dogs and plenty of cats, and occasionally horses, and small animals too! I grew up around Saint Bernards, so I’ve been wrangling big dogs since I could walk. Our house was kind of a magnet for animals in need....strays, rescues, you name it. We never turned them away and either kept them or helped find them forever homes with family and friends. That experience shaped how I care for animals today...patient, flexible, and with a lot of heart. I’m comfortable with pups of all ages and temperaments, whether they’re anxious zoomers or mellow seniors who just want a calm presence and some TLC. Whatever kind of care your best friend needs, I’m happy to help with drop-in visits, walks, meds, belly rubs, you name it. Also, please ask me anything if you can't find it in my profile! I'm happy to discuss extra services that you or your pet needs to feel loved, safe, and happy while you're away! I'm a hiker, mountain biker, and love long walks! I am recently retired early from the tech industry and now have time to give back to my community and neighbors! I'm available 7 days a week, and for overnights if needed and if the fit is right! Contact me anytime, and we can coordinate something that works, whether it's just hanging out with your pet or having a fun adventure! I've lived a lifetime with pets and rescued animals, so for me they are family. I treat all living things with respect, understanding, and care. I'm always thinking ahead of potential scenarios when planning any outings, making sure I'm prepared with extra leashes, treats, and/or a strong understanding of an area and what to expect.

“Nicole came over to do an initial meet & greet with our dogs and get familiar with our needs. She did a great job and even though she will definitely have her hands full with all 3 dogs on walks, she can totally handle herself.”

“Elyse was so wonderful with our pup! It made leaving him for the day so much easier. She came at the perfect times to feed and walk him. We loved the pics she sent and notes about each visit.”

“Renee is wonderful! Super reliable, efficient, and seems to genuinely enjoy spending time with our kitties. She has become our go-to cat sitter for every time we are out of town!”

About: Since I was 15, my neighbors have trusted me to take care of their dogs when they go on vacation. I have taken care of small and big dogs as well as puppies and older dogs. I love making sure they feel happy and safe since I know how hard it can be to leave a dog to go on a trip. I also have had a dog (a Brittany spaniel) at my family‘s house since I was about 12. I am a recently graduated masters student and I start working full-time at an engineering company on September 8th so I can visit dogs after work around 6 PM or anytime on the weekends. Before 9/8 I am very free for visits any time! I am very respectful of other people’s spaces and have pet/ house sat for my neighbors for all my life. It’s important to me to follow all rules set out and be tidy in others homes!

“Cambra, despite her name being difficult for me ? was the exact opposite! She was very easy to work with and was wonderful with my puppy. I left her in my apartment and couldn't have felt more comfortable. She is very sweet and was very respectful of my house and my little four legged friend. I will be hiring her continually for companionship and care for my pup.”

About: I come from a household of animal lovers who always adopted and housed feral animals. From dogs to cats to birds. For fun, I’ve always looked after friend’s pets when they were away. I work a job that allows me a lot of free time and I figured what’s a better way to spend that time that to go walk a dog here and there for some nice companionship. I live in a pretty secluded area that’s fenced off. I’m also pretty good at making sure pets don’t run out of the house if that were to be a possibility.

“Kristi is always great! She did daily drop-ins to give meds to my cat while I was in the mountains, and helped out with my other cat. She even worked around the pet sitter who was house sitting. I loved receiving all the photos from each day when I reentered cell range. It was such a great feeling.”

Ashlee H.

“Where to begin? It's almost unbelievable Ash does not have a dog of her own at this very moment...although circumstance is sure to have something to do with it at the moment, renting and putting herself through college. She has always had a deep compassion for dogs that I feel has grown over the past 10 years or so. I've seen her interact with several dogs, recently working on a little country farm setting in Bainbridge Island, WA. Regardless if the three were wet and stinky, (rains a lot there) lazy or overly rambunctious, she just seems to have a place in her heart for each one. She is very organized and active and is one of the most productive souls I know. She won't scrimp when it comes to your beloved pet and at the same time give it an overabundance of love and attention”
