“I cannot say enough good things about Kyle and Desiree, who have been absolutely amazing with our boxers, Dakota and Luna. This is the second time we've had them care for our dogs, and once again, they exceeded all expectations. Dakota is an elderly boxer with medical needs, and Luna is a high-energy, playful 21-month-old puppy, so it’s not always easy to meet both of their needs. But Kyle and Desiree do an outstanding job of balancing the care for each of them. They took Dakota on calm walks and made sure she received all her medications, while also giving Luna the exercise and attention she needs to burn off her endless energy. What really stood out to me was how excited both dogs were to return to Kyle and Desiree's care. When we dropped them off, they practically jumped out of the car to see them, which is a great sign that they feel safe and loved with them. Throughout the day, we got adorable photo updates that showed our pups were having a blast. We truly appreciate their attention to detail, their willingness to take on the responsibility of managing Dakota’s medical needs, and their enthusiasm for spending time with both of our dogs. We couldn’t be happier with the care they provide, and we’re already looking forward to using their services again in the future. Highly recommend!”
About: Growing up my family has always had pets, usually a mixture of dogs and cats (with the occasional hamster or lizard!). My passion for animals grows more and more every day. As an adult, my husband and I have 4 dogs ranging from tiny to large who get along great with all other animals. We also have 3 cats who are very unbothered by dogs. I try to volunteer at the local shelter twice a week but we have a beautiful baby boy so I haven’t been in a little while. Taking care of pets is truly second nature to me, I haven’t ever lived without pets and have always had a passion for them. Even as a little girl I always wanted to be involved in our pet’s care tasks. I know how stressful it can be trying to find a good place for your beloved pet to stay while you’re away, or to find help during the day while you’re at work. I hope that I can be one to relieve some of that stress and worry. Our pets are the most precious members of our family. I know that each individual dog/cat has their own needs and that different things work for different pets. I am very flexible and will always prioritize taking care of your pet the way that you do. Pet care is always part of my daily routine, I’m a stay at home mom to my beautiful baby boy, as well as to my 4 pups and 3 kitties. It is so intertwined with my life that I would make your fur baby feel right at home. I am home 24/7 so no need to worry about your pup or kitty being home alone in a strange place. I have a fully fenced yard and 4 other dogs. One of our dogs is a tiny senior (16 years old!), and the 3 other are middle aged, they love to play but aren’t too high energy if your pup doesn’t feel like playing. During feeding times I make sure that no one feels they have to compete by feeding everyone at once and facing them away from each other. I provide lots of toys and treats (with owners permission of course!) and cuddles (again with owners permission). I will be happy to communicate as much or as little as you need, if you want daily pictures, or even a few pictures a day, I am more than happy to do so! For pups that I’m just checking on, walking, or letting out to potty, all of the same things apply :)
“Jamie is hands down the best dog sitter you could find! I have two dogs (a pit bull and a lab) both of which can be a handful! I had never left them before, so I was extremely nervous. But, Jamie made sure to keep me updated, she sent me pictures, and she assured me they were well-taken care of! I was worried I wouldn't be able to enjoy my time away, but I was 100% at ease and truly trusted that Jamie cared for my pups the same way I do. Particularly, I was worried for my pit bull because she has separation anxiety; but, she did so well and enjoyed her time there! I can't say enough nice things about her. About: I’m SUCH an Auntie with all the pets I watch! I've regularly cared for all my siblings' dogs for decades -my sister's two medium dogs have even recently been for a stay of over a week, right here in my apartment! So a multi-day routine is pretty easy for me. I've been told more than once that a pet who "doesn't usually warm up to people" ends up seeking me out! Since it seems to be a strength of mine, your shy pet may end up a good friend! I live in a studio (no private yard), but I have a fenced back porch for outdoor time and the complex is very secure so walking around here is no problem! My schedule as a certified night-owl runs roughly noon to 5am, so I'm a great fit for lunchtime visits and evening/night walks -and bonus (!) you don't have to rush back from a late-night out, since I've got your doggos covered well past when most sitters would need you home. For overnight boarding, I'm a light sleeper and stay responsive to your dog's needs through the night and early morning. I won't cancel for snow -I grew up driving in snow and ice even from before 16 on a South Dakota farm and spent over a decade in Wyoming winters, so Colorado weather doesn't scare me off (maybe a blizzard sure, but otherwise!) My own 8-year-old cat is fully comfortable around dogs and cats. She's been present through all of my sister's dogs' stays (check out the photos!) and has her own secure, independent access to our enclosed back porch as well as a catio enclosure for daytime chillin'. Currently my job is DoorDashing, so I could whittle out any time for all pets! I am a big night person, so as said noon to 5am is typical. That would mean I would be awake with your doggos for more time than typical sitters at night. I am willing to do several days in a row if needed since I can move my dashing schedule around quite easily. When I am at your place not only will your pets be taken care of with whatever schedule you need, but your house will be looked after as well. If there are any accidents that need to be taken care of, I will make sure it's set! My home is very small -just a studio (a good-sized studio apartment), but I have had my sister’s two medium-large dogs stay there with me for over a week and they did a great job! It’s not much area to wander around in, but I have pet beds and spaces to feed them! I also live on the first floor with a walkout small back porch that leads to the well-maintained outdoors of the apartment complex where I can easily take your dogs for any outside time they would need. The soundproofing in my place is also immaculate, so even if they bark everything will be okay! I do have one cat. So if your dogs or other cats are not okay with that, I am more than willing to come to your place if need be. She is great with others as long as they’re not too into her business and she has places that she can hide when she needs so she is great! I also have a “catio” on my back deck that is attached to my window with a pet flap where my cat goes out and chills. It is a very large enclosure.
